INTRODUCTIONPuji syukur alhamdulillah, Tim Kurikulum Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro (Prodi S1-TE)Fakultas Teknik Elektro dapat menyelesaikan Buku Ringkasan Kurikulum 2016 Prodi S1-TE. Kurikulum 2016 adalah hasil evaluasi dan sekaligus pengembangan Kurikulum 2012dengan mempertimbangkan kemajuan teknologi di bidang keteknikelektroan.Kurikulum 2016 disusun dari proses kajian intersif dan komprehensif yang bersumberpada:1. INTRODUCTION

Praise be to Allah, the curriculum team of the Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering of theSchool of Electrical Engineering has completed the summary book of the 2016 Curriculum of ElectronicsEngineering Study Program (Prodi S1-TE). This 2016 Curriculum is developed based on the results ofthe evaluation of the 2012 Curriculum and taking into account technological advances in the field ofelectrical engineering.

The 2016 Curriculum is composed of intensive and comprehensive review process which is based on:

1. ABET - Engineering Accreditation Criteria 2015-2016,2. IEEE - Allocation of Core Skills for an ICT Masters' Program,3. KepMenDikNas (Decree of National Education Ministry) 232 / U / 2000,4. KepMenDikNas (Decree of National Education Ministry) 045 / U / 2002,5. KKNI (Indonesian National Qualifications Framework) (Presidential Decree 8/2014),6. SN-DIKTI (National Standards - Higher Education) (Permendikbud/ Regulatory of Culture

Distinguished Lecturer Program.

1 SEJARAH PROGRAM STUDI1 Program History

Program Studi S1- Teknik Elektro (Prodi S1-TE) saat ini berada di bawah naunganFakultas Teknik Elektro (FTE) Universitas Telkom (Tel-U). Prodi S1-TE dibuka sesuaiSurat Keputusan DIKTI nomor 108/ DT/ 2007 tanggal 16 Januari 2007 di bawah JurusanTeknik Elektro pada Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Telkom (STT Telkom). Pada akhir 2007,STT Telkom bertransformasi menjadi Institut Teknologi Telkom (IT Telkom), dan ProdiS1-TE berada di bawah Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi (FEK).Pada tahun 2013 IT Telkom bersama dengan Politeknik Telkom dan InstitutManajemen Telkom (IM Telkom) bergabung menjadi Tel-U berdasarkan KeputusanMenteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 270/E/O/2013. Pada awalpenggabungan ini, FEK IT Telkom bertransformasi menjadi Departemen Teknik Elektroyang merupakan bagian dari Fakultas Teknik (FT) Tel-U.Pada tahun 2014 sesuai dengan Keputusan Rektor Universitas Telkom NomorKR.051/SKR2/REK/14, FT Tel-U dibentuk ulang menjadi tiga fakultas, yaitu FakultasTeknik Elektro (FTE), Fakultas Rekayasa Industri (FRI), dan Fakultas Informatika (FIF).Pemekaran ini menempatkan Prodi S1-TE di dalam naungan FTE hingga sekarang. Alurperkembangan di atas diringkas ke dalam Gambar 1-1.

The Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering (BEE) is now under the School of ElectricalEngineering at Telkom University. BEE was officially founded on January 16th 2007 under the ElectricalEngineering Department of Telkom School of Technology (STTTelkom) based on a decree from theMinistry of Higher Education numbered 108/DT/2007. At the end of 2007, STTTelkom became TelkomInstitute of Technology (IT Telkom), and BEE was then under the Faculty of Electrical andCommunications Engineering (ECE).

In 2013, the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT) merged IT Telkom, Telkom Polytechnic, and TelkomInstitute of Management into Telkom University (Tel-U). It was based on a decree of the Ministry ofHigher Education numbered 270/E/O/2013. At the beginning of this merge, ITT Telkom became theFaculty of Engineering which had three departments, i.e.: Department of Electrical Engineering(formerly the ECE), Department of Industrial Engineering, and Department of Informatics Engineering.

In 2014, the Rector of Tel-U issued a decree no. KR.051/SKR2/REK/14 and divided the Faculty ofEngineering into three faculties or schools; i.e. the School of Electrical Engineering, The School ofIndustrial Engineering, and the School of Informatics Engineering. Since then, BEE has been a study

program in the School of Electrical Engineering. This transformation in the past 5 years is illustrated inFigure 1-1.

1.1 Visi“Menjadi program studi berstandar internasional dan menghasilkan sarjana berkeahlianSistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, atau Teknik Biomedika”.Berikut ini adalah penjelasan dari visi Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro:a. Berstandar internasional berarti bahwa kompetensi lulusan adalah hasil prosessistematis berdasarkan kurikulum yang disusun dengan mengacu ke badan akreditasidan profesional internasional; selain itu, juga berarti bahwa para dosen mampumempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya di jurnal dan konferensi internasional yangbereputasi,b. Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika yang dimaksudadalah bidang keahlian seperti yang dinyatakan dalam kriteria akreditasi dari ABETuntuk program rekayasa dan teknologi rekayasa,c. Visi ini akan dicapai pada tahun 2018.1.1 Vision“Becoming an international standardized bachelor program that produces graduates with competenciesin Electronics Systems, Control Systems, or Biomedical Engineering”.

The explanation of the vision is as follows:

a. International standard means that the graduates acquire competencies from a systematic

educational process based on a curriculum that complies with recommendation from international

and professional accreditation councils; it also means that the faculty members must be able to

publish their research papers to reputable international journals and conferences.

b. The graduates’ competencies in Electronics Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical

Engineering as stated in the vision are based on ABET’s criteria for accrediting engineering and

engineering technology programs.

c. This vision is expected to be accomplished in 2018.

1.2 Misi1. Menyelenggarakan pendidikan berstandar internasional untuk menghasilkan lulusanyang menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali,dan Teknik Biomedika;2. Mengembangkan dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi SistemElektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika yang diakui secara internasionaldengan melibatkan mahasiswa secara aktif;3. Memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali,dan Teknik Biomedika untuk kesejahteraan dan kemajuan peradaban bangsa.

1.2 Mission1. To provide an international standard of education that enable students to acquire knowledge,

science, and technology of Electronics Systems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering;2. To develop and disseminate the knowledge, science, and technology of Electronics Systems,

Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering that are internationally recognized by activelyengaging students;

3. To apply the knowledge, science, and technology of Electronics Systems, Control Systems, andBiomedical Engineering for the welfare and advancement of the nation civilization.

1.3 TujuanTercapainya kepercayaan dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan melalui:1. Peran aktif program studi dalam tata kelola fakultas dan universitas serta dalam tatakelola pendidikan tinggi di tingkat nasional maupun internasional;2. Program studi yang berstandar internasional;3. Lulusan yang memiliki integritas, kompetensi, dan daya saing nasional daninternasional;4. Karya penelitian dan produk inovasi yang bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitashidup masyarakat dan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi nasional;5. Budaya riset, atmosfer akademik lintas budaya, dan jiwa kewirausahaan di kalangansivitas akademika.1.3 ObjectivesAttaining trust from all stakeholders through:

1. Participating actively in managing the School of Electrical Engineering and Telkom University aswell as in managing higher education systems at a national level or an international level;

2. Establishing an international standardized study program;3. Producing graduates who have integrity, competency, and competitiveness at national andinternational level;4. Conducting research and producing innovation products that improve the quality of life andsupport national economic development;5. Promoting research culture, cross-cultural academic atmosphere, and entrepreneurship of theacademic societies.

2 DESKRIPSI PROGRAM STUDI2 Program DescriptionsSebagaimana yang dijelaskan di visi dan misi Prodi S1-TE, bidang yang ditawarkan adalahSistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, dan Teknik Biomedika. Dibanding prodi-prodi lain dibawah naungan Fakultas Teknik Elektro Tel-U, kajian dititikberatkan agar mahasiswaatau lulusan Prodi S1-TE:a. Mampu merancang, membangun, dan mengintegrasikan aplikasi perangkat kerasberbasis Programmable Device (Misal: Mikrokontroler, PLC, atau FPGA),b. Mampu melakukan akuisisi dan pengolahan sinyal (elektrik, biologis, danfenomena fisis),c. Mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan komunikasi antar perangkat keraselektronik, dand. Mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan algoritma kendali modern kedalam sistem elektro-mekanik, sistem otomatisasi, atau robotika.Keunggulan Prodi S1-TE Tel-U dibanding Prodi Teknik Elektro di universitas-universitaslain antara lain:a. Unggul dalam penerapan dan pengembangan TIK,b. Memiliki banyak konsentrasi keahlian (Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali, danTeknik Biomedika), danc. Memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan inkubator industri (Bandung Techno Park).The Bachelor Program of Electronics Engineering (BEE) offers three specializations: ElectronicsSystem, Control System, and Biomedical Engineering. Comparing with other study programs in theSchool of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University, our studies focus on developing the students orthe graduates to be capable of:

a. Designing, implementing, and integrating hardware applications based on programmabledevices (e.g. Microcontroller, PLC, FPGA);

b. Implementing the processing and data acquisition of electric signals from various biological andphysical phenomena;

c. Designing and implementing communication systems between two or more electronic devicesor systems;

d. Designing and implementing modern control algorithm into electro-mechanical system,automatization system, or robotic.

Comparing with electronics engineering study programs in other universities, our program has a numberof advantages such as:

a. Being excellence in applying and developing information and communication technology;b. Offering a number of specializations or major tracks, i.e. Electronics Systems, Control Systems,

and Biomedical Engineering;c. Forming a close cooperation to a business incubator, i.e. Bandung Techno Park.Berikut adalah mata kuliah ditawarkan Program Studi S1 Teknik Elektro sesuaidengan ciri khas di atas agar mahasiswa dan lulusan memiliki kemampuan spesifik dalambidang Sistem Elektronika, Sistem Kendali atau Teknik Biomedis.a. Untuk memiliki kemampuan desain, implementasi, dan pengintegrasian aplikasiperangkat keras (hardware) dengan perangkat lunak (software) maka diperlukanbeberapa mata kuliah yang membahas topik berikut: Pemrograman, Rangkaian

Untuk memiliki kemampuan mengimplementasikan pengolahan dan akuisisi datasinyal listrik dari berbagai gejala biologi dan fisika, maka mahasiswa perlu dibekalipengetahuan yang dapat diperoleh melalui perkuliahan yang membahas: Kalkulus,Fisika, Persamaan Diferensial, Rangkaian Logika, Variabel Kompleks, RangkaianListrik, Elektromagnetika, Elektronika, Pengolahan Sinyal, Matematika Diskrit,Instrumentasi dan Pengukuran Elektrik, Sistem Catu Daya, Sistem Telekomunikasi,Sistem Kendali Digital, Elektronika Daya, Fisika Biomedika, Instrumentasi Biomedika,Elektronika Daya, Instrumentasi Optik, Analisis Kendali Kokoh, Sistem KendaliMultivariabel, serta Pengukuran Biosinyal.c. Untuk memiliki kemampuan mendesain dan mengimplementasikan sistemkomunikasi antara dua atau lebih perangkat atau sistem elektronika, diperlukan matakuliah-mata kuliah seperti: Pemrograman, Antarmuka, Pengolahan Sinyal, SistemTelekomunikasi, dan Computer Vision.d. Untuk memiliki kemampuan untuk mendesain dan mengimplementasikan algoritmakendali modern pada sistem listrik-mekanik, sistem otomatisasi atau robotikadiberikan melalui beberapa mata kuliah seperti: Sistem Kendali, PersamaanDiferensial, Pengolahan Sinyal, Sistem Catu Daya, Mekatronika dan Robotika, SistemOtomatisasi Industri, Pembelajaran Mesin dan Aplikasi, Analisis Kendali Kokoh, danSistem Kendali Multivariabel.In order to reach and maintenance the competitive excellence of the bachelor program in ElectronicsSystems, Control Systems, and Biomedical Engineering through the above distinguished competences,the program offers the following specific subjects.a. Programming, Microcomputer, Interfacing, Design Method, Mechatronics and Robotics, Integrated

Circuits Design, FPGA-based System Design, Industrial Automation System, Control MethodDesign, Biomedical System Design, and Signal Integrity in PCB Design are offered to develop thestudents’ skills to design, and integrate hardware and software applications;

b. Calculus, Physics, Differential Equations, Logic Circuits, Complex Variables, Electric Circuits,Electromagnetics, Electronics, Signals Processing, Discrete Mathematics, ElectronicMeasurements and Instrumentations, Power Supply Systems, Telecommunication Systems, DigitalControl Systems, Power Electronics, Biomedical Physics, Biomedical Instrumentations, OpticalInstrumentations, Robust Control Analysis, Multivariable Control Systems, and Bio-signalMeasurements are some fundamental knowledge. They are provided to build the students’ abilitiesto implement data process and acquisition of electronic signals from various biological and physicphenomenon.

c. Programming, Interfacing, Signal Processing, Telecommunication System, and Computer Visionare learned to develop the students’ abilities to design and implement Communication Systembetween Electronics Equipment.

d. Control System, Differential equation, Signal Processing, Power Supply System, Digital ControlSystem, Mechatronics and Robotics, Industrial Automated Systems, Robust Control Analysis, andMultivariable Control Systems are given to develop the students’ abilities to design and implementmodern Control Algorithm to Electric-Mechanic Systems, Automated Systems and Robotics.

4 CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN4 Learning Outcome

Hasil analisis kebutuhan pasar dan pengembangan keilmuan yang telah dilaksanakanpada tahap pertama dalam bentuk rumusan Profil Lulusan, yang digunakan sebagaiacuan untuk merumuskan capaian pembelajaran lulusan. Menurut Peraturan PresidenNo 8 Tahun 2012 tentang Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia, bab 1 pasal 1 ayat 2,capaian pembelajaran adalah kemampuan yang diperoleh melalui internalisasipengetahuan, sikap, ketrampilan, kompetensi, dan akumulasi pengalaman kerja.Dalam Permendikbud No 49 tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 1, capaian pembelajaranlulusan sebagai rumusan standar kompetensi lulusan merupakan kriteria minimaltentang kualifikasi kemampuan lulusan yang mencakup sikap, pengetahuan danketerampilan.Perumusan capaian pembelajaran lulusan selain mengacu pada profil lulusan,menurut Permendikbud no. 49 tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 3, wajib mengacu pada KKNI danmemiliki kesetaraan dengan jenjang kualifikasi pada KKNI. Keterkaitan antara profillulusan, bidang keilmuan program studi, KKNI dan SN Dikti serta referensi kompetensi,disajikan pada Gambar 4-1. Berdasarkan Gambar 4-1, langkah perumusan capaianpembelajaran sebagai berikut:1. Mendeskripsikan visi dan misi keilmuan program studi.2. Melakukan analisis kebutuhan pasar dan stakeholder yang mendeskripsikan profillulusan.3. Menggunakan deskripsi KKNI dan SN Dikti.4. Menggunakan referensi dalam dan luar negeri.Rumusan capaian pembelajaran digunakan sebagai acuan utama pengembanganstandar-standar yang lain (Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 Pasal 5 ayat 2) dalamrangka pengembangan kurikulum program studi. Hasil perumusan capaianpembelajaran digunakan sebagai acuan pada tahap berikutnya yaitu pengembanganbahan kajian. Capaian pembelajaran dikembangkan dan dirumuskan oleh TimPengembang Kurikulum Program Studi.Mengacu pada Permendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 pasal 5 ayat 1, capaianpembelajaran mencakup unsur-unsur sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Lalu dalamPermendikbud No. 49 Tahun 2014 pasal 6, keterampilan yang merupakan kemampuanunjuk kerja mencakup keterampilan umum dan keterampilan khusus. Sikappengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dirancang dalam kurikulum 2016 Prodi S1 TeknikElektro ditunjukkan pada Tabel 4-1

Learning outcome, based on President’s decree No. 8/2012 about NationalQualification Scheme of Indonesia (KKNI), chapter 1, section 1 verse 2, is abilities acquired byinternalizing knowledge, attitude, skill, competency, and the accumulation of work experiences.

In addition, Permendikbud No 49/2014 section 5 verse 1 states that the learning outcomes ofthe graduates is the minimal standard of graduates’ competency that cover attitudes, knowledge, andskills.

The graduates’ learning outcomes should be based on the graduate profiles as stated inPermendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 3, KKNI, and have the same level as the qualification levelof KKNI. The relationship among graduate profiles, study program’s field of knowledge, KKNI and SNDikti as well as the competency references is illustrated at Figure 4-1. Based on Figure 4-1, theprocedure in defining the learning outcomes are as follows:

1. Describing the vision and mission of the study program.2. Analyzing the market needs and stakeholders that represent the graduate profiles.3. Referring to the description of KKNI and SN Dikti.4. Referring to national and international references.

The defined learning outcomes is then used as the main reference to develop other standards(Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 2) in order to develop the study program curriculum. Thislearning outcome is then used as the references of the next step i.e. to develop topics of the study. Thelearning outcomes is developed and defined by curriculum development team of the study program.

Referring to Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 5 verse 1, the learning outcomes coverattitudes, knowledges, and skills. In addition, Permendikbud No. 49/2014 section 6 states that skills arethe blends of general and special skills. Attitudes and skills designed in the 2016 curriculum of thebachelor degree of the electronics engineering are presented in Table 4-1.

5 STRUKTUR KURIKULUM5 Curriculum Structure

Di dalam kurikulum 2016, untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan tingkat sarjana di Prodi S1-Teknik Elektro, mahasiswa perlu mengambil minimum 144 SKS. Total SKS tersebuttersusun dari 49 mata kuliah wajib dan 6 mata kuliah pilihan. Kuliah pilihan ini dipilihdari 21 mata kuliah pilihan yang ditawarkan prodi. Gambar 5-1 menunjukkanorganigram kurikulum 2016 yang dijalankan prodi. Tabel selanjutnya adalah matakuliah-mata kuliah yang ditawarkan di Prodi S1-TE di dalam Kurikulum 2016.According to the 2016 Curriculum to earn a Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering, a student mustcomplete a minimum of 144 credits. These total credits consist of 49 compulsory subjects and 6 out of21 elective subjects offered. Figure 5-1 presents the organigram of 2016 curriculum adopted by thestudy program. The following table contains the subjects offered in the 2016 Curriculum.

6.2 Skenario Ekuivalensi Angkatan 2015Mahasiswa S1-TE 2015 dapat dinyatakan lulus TPB bilaa. Lulus semua mata kulian (MK) tingkat 1 kurikulum 2012 dengan IPK >= 2,00, ataub. Hanya tidak lulus MK HUG1H2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan dan MUG1E3 Aljabar Linierdengan IPK >= 2,00.Bagi mahasiswa S1-TE 2015 yang belum lulus TPB:a. Prodi menyediakan ujian khusus di akhir Semester Genap 2015/ 2016 berdasarkanhasil sidang akademik,b. Mahasiswa yang tidak lulus (proses) ujian khusus harus mengambil mata kuliah yangekuivalen di kurikulum 2016 beserta DUH1A2 Literasi TIK dan LUH2C2 BahasaInggris II.c. Bila berhasil lulus TPB, MK HUG1H2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan (Kurikulum 2012) danMK DUH1A2 Literasi TIK (Kurikulum 2016) dapat menggantikan MK FEH2D2Studium Generale.

Catatana. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK HUG1A2 Pengetahuan Lingkungan, maka mata kuliahtersebut akan dihapus dari transkrip akademik karena tidak dapat diulang;b. a. Students have completed all first year subjects of the 2012 Curriculum with a GPA of at least 2.00,or

b. Students have completed all subjects except for HUGH1H2 Knowledge of Environment and orMUG1E3 Linier Algebra and they have a GPA of at least 2.00.

The 2015 intake students who have not completed the TPB:

a. have to take particular examinations considered by the academic council meeting at the end of thesecond semester of 2015/2016 academic years.

b. If they cannot complete those particular examinations, they have to take the equivalent subjectsincluded in 2016 Curriculum, DUH1A2 ICT Literacy, and LUH2C2 English II.

c. When they successfully pass TPB, the combined HUGH1H2 Knowledge of Environment (part ofthe 2012 Curriculum) and DUH1A2 ICT Literacy (part of 2016 Curriculum) can replace FEH2D2Studium Generale.

Notes:a. If students cannot complete HUGH1A2 Knowledge of Environment, this subject will be eliminated

6.4 Skenario Ekuivalensi Angkatan 2013Bila mahasiswa S1-TE 2013 belum lulus mata kuliah di Tingkat 3 Kurikulum 2012, makayang bersangkutan harus mengulang dengan mengambil mata kuliah yang ekuivalen dikurikulum 2016, termasuk mata kuliah yang ekuivalennya ada di tingkat 2.Catatan:a. Bila mahasiswa tidak lulus MK BUG1E2 Bahasa Inggris II, FEG2G3 Jaringan Komputerdan Data, atau ELG3A3 Mikroprosesor, maka mata kuliah tersebut akan dihapus daritranskrip akademik karena tidak dapat diulang;b. The 2013 intake students who have not completed all 3rd-year subjects in the 2012 curriculum mustretake all the equivalent subjects in the 2016 curriculum, including designated subjects in the secondyear.

Notes:a. If students have not completed BUG1E2 English II, ELG2G3 Computer Network and Data, or

ELG3A3 Microcontroller, those subjects will be eliminated from their academic transcript recordsbecause it cannot be repeated in the 2016 curriculum;

b. Students who have not completed ELG311 Electronics Lab Work I (5th Semester) and ELG321Electronics Lab Work II (6th Semester) in the 2012 curriculum have the possibility to pass theequivalent laboratory work in the 2016 curriculum without doing laboratory works; in this case, thestudents only need to register themselves to the equivalent subjects in the 2016 curriculum;

c. The following table is the list of the 2016 curriculum subjects for the 2013 intake students who havecompleted all TPB, the 2nd-year subjects, and the 3rd-year subjects in their first 3-years with 110 credits.Students need to take attention when HUG1G2 Pancasila and Civics in the 2012 curriculum has beentaken, because its credit is only 2; this makes the total credits only 143.
