• Waktu Pelaksanaan PraktikumDalam kegiatan praktikum kali ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari

yaitu pada hari senin – selasa yaitu pada tanggal 14 mei 2007 – 15 mei 2007 dan bertempat di Jurusan Statistika ITS Surabaya

• Sumber DataDalam praktikum kali ini sumber yang digunakan adalah sebagai

berikut:• Data Primer yaitu data yang diperoleh dari sumber langsung hasil

wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner.• Data Sekunder yaitu data yang diperoleh secara langsung maupun tidak

langsung melalui media perantara

a. Variabel Demografi

Antara lain:• Daerah asal, dikelompokkan menjadi 2 kelompok

yaitu Surabaya (Waru, Sidoarjo, Gresik) dan Luar Surabaya.

• Status tempat tinggal, dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok yaitu Rumah (keluarga, kerabat), Kost, Asrama, dan Kontrakan.

• Uang saku perbulan, dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok < Rp 300.000, Rp 300.000 – Rp 500.000, Rp 500.001 – Rp 700.000, dan > Rp 700.000

• Status Pekerjaan, dikelompokkan menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kuliah sambil bekerja dan kuliah tidak bekerja

b. Variabel Psikografi

Antara lain :• Jumlah HP yang dimiliki (simcard berbasis GSM) kartu seluler Prabayar

yang dimiliki dan merek kartu seluler yang selalu/lebih sering diaktifkan.• Merek HP yang digunakan, dikelompokkan menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu

Nokia, Siemens, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorolla, dan lainnya.• Kegiatan komunikasi yang sering dilakukan, dikelompokkan menjadi 5

kelompok yaitu SMS, Panggilan Telepon, MMS, GPRS, dan lainnya.• Rata-rata Frekuensi SMS tiap hari, dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok

yaitu 1 – 2 kali, 3 – 5 kali, 6 – 10 kali, > 10 kali.• Rata-rata frekuensi telepon dalam satu hari, dikelompokkan menjadi 4

kelompok yaitu < 1 kali, 1 – 3 kali, 4 – 5 kali, > 5 kali.• Siapakah yang paling sering dihubungi, dikelompokkan menjadi 5

kelompok yaitu Teman, Keluarga, Pacar, Rekan Bisnis, Lainnya.• Satuan harga pulsa yang sering digunakan dalam pengisian pulsa,

dikelompokkan menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu 5 ribu, 10 ribu, 15 ribu, 20 ribu, 50 ribu, 100 ribu.

• Informasi pertama kali yang diperoleh tentang kartu Prabayar IM3 dan Simpati, dikelompokkan menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu Media, Pacar, Iklan, Teman, Lainnya.

• Pengaruh paling kuat untuk membeli kartu prabayar IM3 dan Simpati, dikelompokkan menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu diri sendiri, Pacar, Teman, Iklan, Keluarga, Lainnya.

• Kesimpulan• Dari hasil pengujian independensi maka didapatkan

bahwa variable-variabel yang ada semuanya independent kecuali variable frekuensi telepon dan frekuensi SMS.

• Dari pengujian regresi multinormal logistic yang dilakukan secara serentak maka didapatkan bahwa variable-variabel dari hasil pengujian independensi jika dilakukan pengujian secara serentak maka didapatkan tidak significant. Sehingga, tidak bisa didapatkan modelnya

• Saran

Adapun saran yang hendak dikemukakan adalah dalam melakukan penelitian hendaknya ketelitian sangat dibutuhkan dalam pengukuran karena jika salah dalam pengukuran maka pada akhirnya akan salah dalam analisis. dan juga dalam pembuatan kuesioner diperhatikan variabel-variabel yang hendak diukur.
