Mandate / Policy Section 102

It is hereby declared to be the policy of the state to

safeguard life, health, property, and the public welfare,

consistent with the principles of sound environmentalmanagement and control; and to this end, make it the

purpose of this Code to provide for all buildings and

structures, a framework of minimum standards and

requirements to regulate and control their location,site, design, quality of materials, construction, use,

occupancy, and maintenance.

Processing of Building Permits

The OBO verifies . . . If the project has been issued a

development permit such as residential, commercial,industrial, institutional, memorial parks and other

development by the HLURB or the SBayan/

Panglungsod, an individual locational clearance shall

not be required.
