from several European countries and cities• Business creation: supports start-ups or provides financial resources for early business creation• City Club: platform of local governments for collaborating, sharing best practice, upscaling and testing ideas • Academy: master and doctoral programmes for working professionals to close the urban mobility knowledge gap • Citizen Engagement: projects proposing new, effective ways to co-create together with citizens, involve them in

Overview
The Horizon Europe Innovation scheme is meant for large consortia and budgets, with programmes spanning several years.
The EIT Urban Mobility Innovation funding opportunities have been designed to complement Horizon Europe:
The EIT UM Annual Innovation Call for Proposals
• Medium sized consortia and budget
• TRL 6+
• 1-2 years duration
Rapid Applications for Transport (RAPTOR)
• Small budget for individuals, teams, start-ups and SMEs
• Demonstrates fast, niche innovation over a 4-month period
Action and Impact Groups (AIG)
• External funding sources
• Pre-TRL 6
• Provides EIT UM partners and community opportunity to secure additional funding sources
Innovation Annual Call for Proposals
Innovation projects, as collaborative activities, are:
• Market-based and solution-oriented: Technology Readiness Level 6+
• Challenge-driven: Active Mobility, Sustainable City Logistics, Future Mobility, Mobility and Energy, Creating Public Realm.
• Focused on research, technology, and societal innovation
• 1 to 2 years in duration: Support beyond 24-months available via Factory and Business Creation, to ensure fluid handover and scaling of completed projects.
• Developed by multidisciplinary teams and supportive of EIT Regional Innovation Scheme country partners
• Pathways for SMEs to expand and grow
• Centred on pan-European demonstrations and testing in real-life contexts with public engagement
