I was helped by your junior technical employee, Mr. James. I explained`to him that my PC would always hang after several minutes`I turned it on. He promised to me to fix the problem that`day.I came back to your store in that Sunday afternoon. However, he had not finished it yet because the computer memory was spoiled. In addition, he did not have any memory stock at the time to replace. He promised that I would be able to collect it on last Monday. On last`monday afternoon, I went down to collect it. Nevertheless, the computer was not ready to be collected. Mr. James mentioned to me that he needs a few more days because the processor was spoilt as well. I am not satisfied with the way he addressed my computer’s problem. He did not give me detailed information about the problem with my PC.I had to go there several times and each time he would say different problem and need more time to fix it. I need my computer for my business. As of today,my PC is not ready yet. I am expecting the highest service quality from your store as you promised in the advertisement ‘One Day Ready’. It was cool and windy during the time we were there. Especially, I was soimpressed by people in Nha Trang. They are so friendly and hospitable. It was such an awesome vacation and everybody in my family was so happy and relaxed. We really want to come back to Nha Trang when we have time next year. What are you going to do on your summer vacation? Write to me whenyou have time.Love, Dung

My suit case is grey Samsonite whose size is 10 x 95 cm. There are 3 steckers on one side and 1 heart shaped stecker on the other side. My initials "AR" arealso written on both sides.

There are a few books and a copy of my thesis in that suitcase which I need for the conference on 19 August.

So I would deeply appreciate it if you could give me a prompt reply at your most convenient. My flight number, luggage claim number and address are written below.

Dear Madam or Sir,

lost on the British Airways flight from London to NewYork (BA123) on January 2nd. When I realized the losson my arrival in New York I reported it to the counter staff. I have contacted British Airways numerous times since by phone without being able to locate the suitcase.

My suitcase is made of dark blue fabric with black handles and a single. It contains clothing, presents for friends I will visit and photographic equipment Iwas planning to use on my trip. I already had to buy some cloths and toiletry for which I attached the receipt to this letter expecting you to refund my expenses.

I hope this matter can be resolved very soon as I plan to continue my trip to California on the 7th of January an will no longer be able to pick up the suitcase in New York after this date. You can reach me on my mobile 123456789.

Some people feel that entertainers (e.g. film stars, pop musicians or sports stars) are paid too much money. Do you agree or disagree?

Which other types o f job should be highly paid?

My essay:

It is common to rouse a debate on whether celebrities deserve their payments whenever we talk about them. Some people think these entertainers are significantly overpaid when compared to people from other occupations. From my perspective, their massive influences and immense contributions have made the high salary acceptable.

First of all, the leading factors of these idols' success and earningsare indomitable mettle and painstaking practice. They have sacrificed their leisure time, personal relationship, even health, to achieve theultimate goal while others may just entertain themselves. Usian Bolt, world's fastest sprint runner, had spent enormous time on his intensive training before he gained the worldwide recognition and became the highest paid athlete..

Furthermore, whether the stars are overpaid or not should depend not only on their incomings, but also on their outputs. They play a prominent role in cultural dissemination and public relaxation; moreover, they have made considerable profits for the entertainment companies. The music they created, the TV programs they produced and the movies they filmed are indispensable parts of our daily life.

Admittedly the salary level is unfair to the professions which are important to society. Policemen who risk their lives fighting criminals, doctors who fulfill their duties saving lives, may receive extremely little money. But it is the government's responsibility to regulate the opportunities, investments and attentions toward the lessadvantaged people.

Base on the above argument, I concede that entertainers are paid reasonably, regardless what the amount is. To preserve equality, harmony and stability in society, other professionals like professors, nurses and policemen deserve more attentions and money. Meanwhile, the

stars should show their sympathy and benevolence through donations andcharity activities.

Many entertainers gain as much money as they can’t spend all while there are poor people in some countries. Some people say that we should give too much money for entertainers, but I disagree to the statement.

I think that entertainers’ jobs are to sell dreams. Many people consider entertainers as people who are rich, happy, loved by many people and can impress other people compared to ordinary people’s life. Therefore, people would like to be a super star and try hard. Also, entertainers can be ideals for children. What stars have a lot of money means that they can be a goal fortrainees trying hard to survive in film, music and sports worlds.

The biggest reason why I think that stars should be given a lot of money is that they have a special talent which people can’t imitate. Entertainers are trying hard to have the skills and only they can excite other people by using these skills. Also, by getting money, they would like to improve their talentsmore.

Therefore, people who do works which no one can do should be given high salarybesides entertainers, for example, the best cardiac surgeon in the world, an engineer who invent the newest system and a researcher who destroy existing theory. They can give impacts to our societies much more than the salary they can gain.

In conclusion, I think that people who have special talents should have a lot of money. Therefore, entertainers are also worth being rich because they make us smile.

Topic: Some people feel that entertainers (e.g. film stars, pop musicians or sports stars) are paid too much money.

Do you agree or disagree?

Which other types of job should be highly paid?

I don’t agree the opinion that entertainers, e.g. film stars, pop musicians orsports starts, are paid too much money. I think the entertainers deserve to bepaid with high salary. Firstly, famous entertainers must be very talent and outstanding compared to others. Secondly, famous entertainers must put a lot of effort on their work to be famous. Thirdly, famous entertainers make a lot fun to the people which is beneficial for the society. Lastly, famous entertainers can earn a lot of money for organizers or companies. In fact, there is indeed some entertainers who get good pay but without payingeffort. However, most of them must work hard in order to get better salary. Besides entertainers, I think people working in other field should also get good pay. For instance, clinical doctors should get good pay. Because they areworking for human-a very complex biological system. To be a doctor, you have to have MD training with very hard study and very high tuition. You have to have about 5 years clinical training with low salary and hard work before you become an independent doctor. As a doctor, you have to scarify your own time and most effort to patients. And also it is not like working in the other field, most of doctors have to take night-shift or work in emergency room and ICU (intensive care unit). I think doctors should earn more salary too.In general, amount of salary paid should relay on the amount of the effort putand the time spent by the people.

Some people feel that entertainers (e.g. film stars, pop musicians or sports stars) are paid too much money.

Do you agree or disagree?

Which other types of job should be highly paid?

It is often said that people who work in the entertainment industry such as film stars, pop musicians or sport stars [z1] are getting paid much more than anybody else[z2] . This applies to many countries around the world. I agree that they are getting paid so highly and there are many other jobs that deserve to be paid higher. Analyzing both the false income reflection [z3] as well as the outrageous gap between entertainers and other professions will show this. Then I

shall give my opinion about other types of jobs that [z4] should be paid highly.

Firstly, the entertainers’ income does not reflect the work they do. For example, sport starts such as Tiger Woods play golf and then get paid a vast amount of money for playing the game. It is true that he entertains spectators with his skills. However, manypeople who are also good at golf spend money for playing for business purposes and they obviously are not paid for doing this. So it is clear [z5] that the salaries entertainers receive do not match the job they perform at all.

Secondly, entertainers’ income is discernibly different compared to workers of other industries. For instance, a top star movie like Angelina Jolie can easily make one million dollar by participating in a single film. This number may never be reached by many people during their life no matter how hard working they are. Therefore, the money received by entertainers is way too much if measured by the amount the majority of people earn[z6] .

There are other professions that deserve to be paid higher for their work. For example, teachers who are in charge of the education of the next generation are considered underpaid. If we think about the responsibilities they bear, it is obvious that they should receive more. Another type of job deserving to receive good salary is doctor. Since doctors can save lives and give people hope, they should receive an amount equal to the meaningful contributions they make.

In summary, entertainers do not offer anything greater than otherpeople who are working in other industries. As a result, I agree that the society is overpaying the people in the entertainment industry. Finally, it is recommended that people who work hard should be rewarded appropriately and the gap in benefits between different types of jobs should not be too significant.

Some people feel that entertainers (e.g.film starts, pop musicians or sports stars) are paid too much money. Do you agree or disagree?Which other types of job should be highly paid?

Entertainment professions such as acting, music composing and sports are gaining huge craze in current day world. Individuals in these professions are highly paid. There are people who consider that the remuneration received by these persons is reasonable where as many consider those professions as highlypaid than needed.

We need to acknowledge that the celebrities in these profession are the peoplewho drive the shows. In the first place it is their talent which is appreciated and which brings them fame and craze. For example, when we are about to watch a movie generally it is our curiosity to know the starcast. Versatility of the actors and their talents is what hugely accepted by the audience and in turn gets them money. Their hardwork and efforts are their success elements. All these charactaristics of any actor, musician or a sportsperson makes them highly famous. Their fame brings in more audience in other terms brings in more money for the producers and organisers.

However, many others argue saying that they are higly paid. They consider manyother departments professionals like movie technicians are the people who equally deserve good salaries as without these departments the celbrities cantsucceed. The other professions which has great importance in the film and pop world arethe script writers and the lyric writers. Even if the actors act well and musicians compose well without a proper script or lyric their performance and efforts gets wasted.

Apart from these, the professions like teaching, coaching, doctors and security personnel needed to be highly paid. These professions are very important for development of any nation. For example, high salaries in teaching professions attracts more talented people which in turn helps students to avail quality education from them.

In conclusion, rather to focus on just one single person and paying them highly it is better if the success is considered as a team effort. The salary need to be decided considering the benefits to the society and the importance of the profession. It is really good if professions which help the developmentof the nation are highly paid.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I normally eat lunch at the college cafeteria because it is reasonable priced, convenient and it has a friendly atmosphere. There are, however, a number of deficiencies which I think should be put right. Firstly, although the staff try to keep the tables clean, there are not enough workers at peak times to clear their tables themselves then they have finished eating.Unfortunately, some students do not bother to do this. Also, there are a number of students who do not wait in the queue to be served, which is very annoying for the majority of us. Finally, I think the cafeteria could have better ventilation as it gets too hot, especially in the summer.

I think it would be a good idea if more signs were put around the cafeteria asking students to put their dirty plates and cutlery on the trolleys providedand to throw away their leftovers and rubbish. Also, I think we should tell students when they are being anti-social and jumping the queue. Finally, could we please have a few windows open when things get too hot?

Yours faithfully

The Qualities That Your Best Friend Has

PAGE 1 OF 1The Qualities that your best friend has

A good friend is honest. A good friend may not share every detail of every second of their life, but they do try to be clear about their intentions. This means that they try to present an accurate picture of who they are and of different situations. When somethingdoesn't seem right, they let you know.

A good friend is fun, unique and interesting.this is a given, and probably the reason you became friends in the first place. But there's a lot to be said for chemistry and shared interests. As for fun, it depends how you define it: Some friends are fun because they're the life of the party, others are fun because they notice every strange little detail about a situation. Some people are fun simply because they see life like no one else does.

A good friend is a friend you can trust.A true friend won't try to steal your girlfriend or boyfriend, yourjob or your personality. They won't gossip about you constantly or

try to damage your reputation. They will let you know when they're concerned and do their best to stick up for you when you're in trouble.

A good friend sticks with you in good times and bad.Loyalty is a quality almost everyone lists when asked what they look for in a friend. A loyal friend will stick with you when your new play is a flop, when you bomb the SATs or when your parents getdivorced. If you move or switch schools, they'll do their best to stay in touch with you.

PAGE 1 OF 1There are different ways to tell the difference between a real friend and a fake friend. Some qualities in a good friend are they are trust worthy, they listen to your thoughts, concerns and issues, and you can tell them stuff without them judging you. If someone doesn’t always use these traits it doesn’t make them a “badfriend”, people make mistakes and as people ourselves we should forgive and forget because one of these days were going to mess up too, it happens to all of us, when we mess up we are going to expect others to forgive us but it is a lot less likely for them toforgive us if we don’t forgive them, as the lord said in the Matthew 7:12 “do to others what you would have them do to you.” A bad friend doesn’t have a problem lying to you or telling people your personal information. They have a negative attitude, they’re only there for you during good times, and they encourage you to do things that could get you in trouble instead of encouraging you to do things that will reflect positively in your life. A lot of the time with a fake friend you feel uncomfortable like they will be judgmental. Silences are awkward so you feel the need to strike up conversation with them, sometimes you feel as though your relationship is all one sided like you are making all the effort. They make up rumors weather they are true a real friend wouldn’t

put you through the emotional pain with drama, often you agree withthem no matter how you feel just to keep things civil.
