"(f) The territorial constituencies of a Gram Panchayat May be delimitated in the prescribed manner and, if necessary, rules in this regard may be made with retrospective effect from a date not earlier than the date of commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Laws (Amendment) Act, 1994" ;

14. In section 1 of theV,Uttar Pradesh Kshettra Panchayats and Zila Ptrathayats Aelhiniyarn, 1961, hereinafter in this Chapter referred to as the

21. In section§18 of principal Act,— Amendment of in sub-section (1), after clause (b) the following provisos shall

Prohibition of holding more than one territorial constituency, more than one seat or simultaneously[ (6) be a member of a Zila Panchayat for more than one territorial

constituency, and the rules may provide for thelvacation of all but one scat by any ,person elected for more than one territorial constituency in a Kshettra Panchayat or a Zila Panchayat."

-25. In section 46 of the principal Act, in ' sub-section. (1) for the !prds and figures "District Board constituted under-the United Provinces Putrict Boards Act, 1922 and of the Antarim Zila Parishad immediately , pefore the appointed date shall", the words and figures "Zila Parishad Ittarnediately before the date of commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Pa n- uaYat taws (Amendment) Act, 1994," shall be substituted.
