concern executive engineer, or equivalent competent authority will be eligible for thetender. In the required certilicate it should be clearly stated that the work is in progresssatisfactorily and also that no penal action has been initiated against the executedagency, i.e.- the tenderer.

Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty ) only for cost of other tender document for each work andRs. 50.00 (Rupees fifty) only for cost of Printed WBCADC Form No. 103 in Cash foreach work (Non-Refundable) from the Office of the WBCADC Kalna-II Project onproduction of attested Xerox copy of valid certificate of up to date clearance ofprofessional tax, income tax, pan card, valid lSdigit (GSTIN) under GST act 2017. Andafter the condition in serial 4 above are satisfied, only one set of tender document willbe sold to a contractor for a particular work. The successful tenderer shall produce thenecessary certificate in prescribe from to prove the establishment register under theworkers welfare cess at 1996 before execution of constriction of work.Each tenderer will have to deposit an earnest money of the amount specified in favourof the WBCADC Kalna-ll Project in the form of Bank draft payable at Baidyapur on anyschedule/Nationalize Bank which must be accompanied with the tender failing whichthe tender will be treated as informal and liable to be rejected. In case of successfultenderer the deposited earnest money will be converted in to security deposit againstthe execution of work and rest amount to cover lOo/o of the work value will be deductedas security deposit from the progressive bills of the contractor.A tender is to quote rates in figures, as well as in words as percentage above/below /alper the rates shown in the departmental price schedule or as per item rates quoted inthe departmental schedule.One of the following is to be inscribed on the 3'd page of the printed WBCADC FormNo.103.I/We, agree to carry out the works mentioned in memorandum at per with the arteshown in the departmental schedule.I/We, agree to carry out the works mentioned in memorandum at ... .........(%)above/below rates shown in the departmental price schedule.I/We, agree to carry out the works mentioned in memorandum as per item rate quotedin the schedule of works enclosed with the tender. 10. Complete tender documents are to be placed in a cover and duly sealed with thename of work and address of the tenderer super scribed on the cover. The sealed covercontaining the tender is to be submitted within the specified date and time.

11. If the day on which the tender is due has been or is declared a closed holiday ofGovt. Office under the Govt. of W.8., the offer shall remain open for acceptances tillthe same our of the next working day.

12. No tender will be deemed to be {it for consideration unless documents are fullyand completely filled in. A11 information that may be asked from a tenderer must beunequivocally furnished. Any tender which is incomplete or does not comply with theprescribed conditions or stipulations or containing vague and indefinite expression willbe liable to rejection at the time of opening of tenders or during subsequent scrutiny.

13. Canvassing in connection with the tender is strictly prohibited and the tendererswho resorts to this will render his tender liable to rejection.

15.A. A tender once submitted shall not be withdrawn with in a period of three monthsfrom the date of opening of tender till the non-acceptances of his tender is communicatedto him by Project Authority.

B. If a tenderer withdraws his tender within this period of three months withoutreceipt any intimation from Project Authority, his earnest money deposited against thistender will be forfeited.16. On receipt of intimation from the Project Authority earnest money deposited by theunsuccessful tenderer will be returned on application.17. The acceptances of the ender will rest with the Project Authority who does not bindhimself to accept the lowest tender and reserved to himself the Authority to reject any orall the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof and may distribute the workamong the tenderers as deems necessary.

A. Cost of any materials supplied departmentally or by the contactor will be considerfor preparing the final bill or running bill & deduction of I.T. & G.S.T. will be madeaccordingly as per rule from the bill of the Contractors. lo/o Building and otherConstruction Workers Welfare Cess will also be deducted from the progressive Bills of thecontractor. The taxes will be deducted from the running/final bills as per norms andvogue.

B. Usually the department will supply no materials for the work .

18. The Successful tenderer shall have to execute an agreement with the Project in formno. WBCADC 103 which contains the other tender documents with in 7 (seven) days onreceipt of an intimation of acceptance of his tender. Failing to comply with in the speciliedtime the Contractor shall render his contract liable to termination with forfeiture of earnestmoney. The above documents will have to be purchase from the Office in cash at prices Rs.800.00 (Ruppes Eight Hundred) (Non-Refundable) per set. A11 the copies must be sign onevery page by the contractor and submitted to the Project Authority within the specified time.

19. It must clearly be understood that the value of work and quantity of works as indicatedas sl. No. (1.C) and in the departmental schedule a-re approximate only and may beappreciable decreased/increased at the desires of the Project Authority during the actualexcursion. The Contract shall remained un-affected by such deviation.20. The Contractor will have to keep himself in readiness to execute the work and to completethe same within the target date as directed by the Project Authority. The Contractor will haveto take up the works as directed by the Project Authority. The Contractor will have to takeup the works as directed by the Project Authority within 7(Seven) days from the date of receiptof work order from the Project Authority, and complete the same within the target date asfixed by the Project Authority, failing which the department will have the every right to takeappropriate action and 2(two) execute the work as per the relevant closes of the printed tender
