Wellhead Controls

BOUSTEAD C&E Wellhead Control Panels andSystems monitor vital process safety parametersof a wellhead platform and provide safe and se-quential start-up and shutdown of productionwells as per design SAFE charts.

Incorporating the know-how acquired over manyyears of design and implementation expertise aswell as feedback received from our esteemedclientele, our products are unmatched in qualityof design, workmanship , accessibility and easeof maintenance.

Logic operation may be pneumatic (air/gas) orlow pressure hydraulic generated within thepanel. Where reliable electric power is available,we also offer electronic microprocessor basedlogic based on TUV Level AK6 (SIL 3) approvedhardware/firmware.

Wellhead shutdown systems are supplied withintegrated or separate stand-alone or skidmounted hydraulic power units (HPUs) completewith redundant hydraulic pums, accumulatorsand reservoirs.

Optional facilities are available for remote moni-toring and control of critical process parametersand shutdown valves from the process platformcomplex .

WELLHEAD CONTROL PANEL DESIGN & FUNCTIONAL FEATURES:Complying to API 14B and 14C requirements, the design and layout of BOUSTEAD wellhead panelspays particular attention to the needs of the Operator - ease of accessibility and maintenance. One lookinside a Boustead panel is enough to convince the most demadning customer of the thought and ex-perience that goes into the layout of panel internal components and particularly the tubing work.

Audio-Visual AlarmsBoustead C&E Wellhead Control Systems are provided with pneumatic flag indicators for all field in-puts, ESD/FSD loop Status . FIRST-UP alarm detection diagnostics can be provided as an option.Audible alarms are provided for any Process abnormality , shutdown or Remote Operation of shutdownvalves. HORN SILENCE facility is AUTO-MANUAL

Remote Monitoring & ControlWhere required, WHCPs can be provided with REMOTE STATUS monitoring of important parametersfrom Process Platform as well as the facility for REMOTE CONTROL of shutdown valves.

Manual ESD Fusible Plug Loop Charging ESD and Fusible Plug Loop Charging Facility with Loop Status and Alarm Indication is designed to pro-vide for minor loop leakages.

Air/Gas Supply SystemDuplex air filter and pressure regulators are provided with Inlet/Outlet Pressure Indication and LowPressure Alarm ( where required) to handle the total Air/Gas requirments . A separate duplex regulatorstation is provided for supplying instrument air to the logic system

Hydraulic Power UnitThe HPU can be integrated in the common section of the panel complete with pneumatic/electric drivenpumps, accumulators, reservoirs, thermal and pressure relief optimally sized to provide actuatingpower to all hydraulically operated shutdown valve.

Construction Features:The most durable and corrosion resistant materials are used throughout keeping in mind the difficultenvironmental conditions encountered on offshore platforms. The panels themselves are ,made ofSS316L stainless steel , all welded construction, with full-length hinged swing rear door arrangementswith heavy-duty 3-point T-bar latch with handle and lock. Panels are self standing on an SS 316

Well Control Modules :The shutdown panels are of modular design andincorporate removable draw-out type Well Con-trol modules each of which provide :• Signal Pressure/Alarm Indication• Bypass/Over-Ride• Manual Reset/Shut-In• Sub-surface Valve Start-up Facility• Shutdown Valve Sequence Control• Adjustable Time Delay

Alternatively , the HPU canbe a separate stand-aloneor skid mounted unit.Accumulators are availablein different materials ofconstruction to suit theenvironment
