Family relations prove to be reliable and stable sources of social support and social
embeddedness in old and very old age, even when relatively little effort is made to keep in
touch or to maintain the relationship. The close family is most often named as a source of
meaningful social contact or social support in old age.
The family relationships play an outstanding role in preparing the new generation for life in
the community. Healthy family relationships are of utmost importance for the old people.
They can feel more comfortable when there is strong bonding among their children and other
members.

Road safety refers to the methods and measures used to prevent road users from being killed
or seriously injured. Typical road users include: pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, vehicle
passengers, and passengers of on-road public transport. Road accidents have become very
common due to the vehicle collisions and ignorance of proper road safety measures. The
number of deaths is increasing due to the motor vehicle collisions due to the ignorance of
road safety rules. Under these conditions it is very important for everyone to be safe on roads
and to follow all the traffic rules and regulations.

It is possible that social media addiction contributesto lower self-esteem, which, in turn,
leads to a decrease in mental health and academic performance. In other words, self-esteem
may play a mediating role in the relations of social media addiction to mental health and
academic performance.
The students of Batch Bl presented the different aspects of social media addictions. The act
was performed by considering some of the recent addictions such as *PUBG" and "TIK-

As per the schedule we planned, we had cleaned most of the places in the village. During the
last days of the activity we travelled some distance and saw a nursery school. Here we started
the work by cleaning in front of nursery school, which is covered by lots of plants and very
large bush of thorny plants. We removed all those plants and cleaned the whole area and as a
result the place was better than before. Around 33 students participated in the program.

Garbage disposal, Kadandale
We cleaned the place near the matha. In the beginning the surrounding was filled with
garbage and waste. We had cleaned the surroundings and then threw the garbage into
specified place. Later on we started to clean the weeds and unwanted grass and put them
around the trees which in turn became the manure, compost for the trees. After the work we
also campaigned about the need for proper, scientific, and efficient disposal of the waste and
its importance in our daily life. Around 44 students participated in the program.

After reaching the village we divided ourselves into groups and visited various places as per
schedule. Each group was given with different work at different places. Our group had visited
the Kadandale School and cleaned the school premises.
The objective of the day was to clear a patch of land, which resided behind the school, from
unwanted plants, which occupied there and grew during the monsoon season. That patch of
land contained loads of weeds (unwanted plants), which we chopped off using sickle.
After cleaning we created awareness about efficient and scientific methods of waste
management among the students.
