2. Action Taken of Previous meeting dated 30lO5l2OlB

a. Based on the last minutes of meeting, member secretary informed thataccreditation for three branches viz., Computer Science &.Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics &Communication Engineering was applied and the visit was heldduring November 16-18, 2018. He informed that two programs wereaccreditated by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi viz.,Mechanical lingineering, Electronics & Communication Engineeringfor three years i.e. 2018- 19, 20lg-20 and 2020-21 .

b. It was informed that Program Coordinators/HODs are utilizing theirimpressed amount of Rs. 10,000/- as informed by the Accounts Office(impressed amount re-sanctioned on submission of expenditurestatement).

c. As perthe point'f of meeting dated 3010512018 value added coursesare delivered to the students through re,gistered training centers.

d. Member secretarv ir-rtbrrled that u,e har.e applied research grants fromthe Government agencies for conducting the different activities.

Further discussions -Member secretary shared the following information to the board -

a. that up-gradation of College library is taking careof, in the previousyear 2018-19 as per RTll syllabus 93books of 15 titles wereprocured and order placed for 471 books for the next session.

b. that faculty members are motivated to register for Ph.D. and fourfaculty members Shri Mukesh Agarwal, Shri Gajendra Sharma,

Shri Amit Mithal, Ms. Priyanka Shukla took admission in Ph.D.program from reputed universities. Some more are in pipe line.

c. that students are taking participation in different activities outsidethe campus also some of them are - Smaft India Hackathon, SmartBusiness Hackathon, Old age home visit, Welding competition inWelding league of women student held at Bhuvneshwar, variousspofts activities etc.

d. that continuous efforls are being made to improve QIV rating atRTu, Kota. He also shared that in the previous year we were at 6th

position.e. Talks related to Centre of Excellence in the area of Automation &

Robotics is initiated.f. Python training through student club is initiatedg. R&D activity club has been established named as Stargent, wherein

students fiom all programs are selected for R&D activities.h. Incr-rbation centre is established and funded by the Government of

Rajasthan. At present 10 (Ten) incubation centers are in function at

the Campus.i. Efforts are being made to establish industry supported labs,j Students are getting paid internships through AICTE Internshala

program and 42 students got paid internships through Intemshala.k. Efforts are being made for additional facility in the

program/department. New equipments on latest technology are tobe procured so that students will get the additional knowledge. Heinformed that all Program/departments are in the process ofsubmitting budget for the same.

to uplift of quality of education through a200 points criteria. In whichfaculty members are required to provide information related to theirR&D activities, innovation in teaching methodology and othersalongwith their results. Faculty members are getting appreciationletter based on their performance.

m. Different feedback is being taken from the students based on coursedelivery and facilities. Member secretary asked to present an actionreport based on the feedback.

n. It was also discussed that action taken on the grievance b1, thestudents may be recorded and present in front of the members ofGoverning bodr,. Member secretary assured for the same.

o. After ,uoing to outcome of NBA accreditation of thu.ee programs,tletrbers shou n their concem for not getting accreditation of CSEprogram. member secretan' asked to submit necessary action taken bythe institute.

p. Members also discussed outcome of accreditation of differentprograms. It u'as discussed a letter is to be sent to RTU Kota with acomment made b1'accreditation team for u-eek outcome though it wasknown RTU.

q. Members took a visit of campus and adr,ise that regular maintenanceis required. Corrective action ma)-be taken.

r. Member secretary discussed the budget and the expenditure for the2018-19 in brief. He informed that budget for the year 2018-19 wasadequate.

s. Budget for the 2019-20 rvas discussed. Member secretary informedthat it will be submitted to the management for final approval.

t. As per the outcome of NBA accreditation, academic audit is notproper, requested to take necessary action.

u. In the month of April 2019 four international conferences were heldarrd 120 papers were presented.

v. Strategic planning of the institute for the next five years is presentedand the approval of the same is received from the NSERD.
