User Manual
Product Inspection Monitoring System
(PIMS)

Key Features:
Complete Paperless working by the use of the Software.
Software can be accessed through computer, mobile, tab having internet.
SMS and email gateway integrated for auto alerts.
Customized Reporting on number of criteria’s.
Search reports for Purchase order, Inspection call, Inspection Certificate with details.
All the users are provided username and password to access the portal.
Role based security implemented so that a user works in his area only.
BHEL and vendors can feed the Purchase order and place inspection calls online.
Auto SMS and email alert is send to vendor and RDSO personnel on submission of
Inspection call.
Vendors and BHEL can trace the status of Inspection call submitted to RDSO.
Inspector nomination is online and inspector gives inspection date online for
Inspection.
DM and IC can be generated online.
Software keeps tracks of Installments and stages of the Inspection process.

To access the online software the user has to type the web address - http://rdso.ggn.rcil.gov.in/qaep
The main page of the website is open as shown below.

SSE / Inspector will login using the username and password provided.
Main menus will include View Inspection call, Issue DM, Issue IC, Change Password, Report Section
Main Menu for Inspector
1. View Inspection Calls:
Inspector will be able to see the details of Inspection calls allocated to him by admin.
Inspector will fill probable date of inspection by clicking on edit button in grid and update.
Inspector can submit details and close the inspection call.
Inspector will fill details of date of starting & completion of inspection, quantity passed. (It will take rejected quantity automatically & add it to remaining quantity for reoffer)

Inspector can revert the call back to ED giving reasons (DP low, on leave etc)

Issue DM:
Inspector will select PO for which he wants to issue DM; all the details of the PO with calls will be listed along with previous DM issued.
Consignee has to be selected for which DM is issued.
The DM quantity which can be given will come automatically, Inspector can Edit the quantity,
DM no will be generated automatically.
Inspector has to fill validity of DM, Equipment No, and Hologram No and select Annexure if any.
DM will be available in PDF format once the details are filled.

Issue IC:
Inspector will select PO for which IC is to be issue, details will be listed.
IC number and date will be taken automatically.
Inspector will select the Call and submit it to ED for approval to issue IC.
IC will be available for IC once ED approves it from his panel.
