Transcript of Tipton County 4-H Newsletter September 2021
Bonus Bits from BrianIt will soon be time to begin a new 4-H year with National 4-H
week Oct. 3-9. I will be visiting both county elementary schoolsduring lunch times of this week to promote 4-H enrollment. Be
on the lookout for promotional material coming home fromschool, on social media, and in e-mail throughout the month. Also be on the lookout for 4-H displays in downtown Tipton at
the Library and other locations! Families must re-enroll in 4-H and Mini 4-H each year by
updating their 4-HOnline profile with the selection of projectsand club(s), plus paying the $15 program fee (Mini 4-Hers do
not pay a program fee). Step-by-step instructions will be sharedby October 1. If you aren't yet sure for what all clubs or projects
you wish to enroll, don't worry! You have until May 15 to loginto your profile and add or drop anything. But the sooner youenroll in something, the more opportunities you'll have sooner
in the 4-H year.I have been meeting with volunteers this month and have sometrainings planned for the year. I am very excited about the ideas
being shared and opportunities we hope to offer our youthmembers. One goal is to provide more year-round
programming, so don't be surprised if you see more clubmeetings and workshops happening in the winter and spring.
It's going to be a great year!
