PURPOSE AND PUBLIC ADDRESS

The purpose of the article is to expand on the global as well as personal knowledge of the

zodiac and ascendant set, for the benefit of the planet. As superstition tends to ultimately

distort our views we want to become as good as any original hunters1 as armed with a

reliable map of the territory we hunt in, in our case the kingdom of heaven.

THE HISTORICAL ZODIAC

Allegedly2 about 550 BC3, the ecliptic was divided into twelve sections of 30° each and

each section was named for a constellation that was close to that section of the ecliptic.

This division of the ecliptic was called the zodiac and, even though the constellations that

originally gave the zodiac divisions their names are no longer in the same sections, the

traditional names - Aries ( ), Taurus ( ), Gemini ( ), Cancer ( ), Leo ( ), Virgo

( ), Libra ( ), Scorpio4 ( ), Sagittarius ( ), Capricorn5 ( ), Aquarius ( ), and

Pisces ( ) - have persisted. This is the classical and all-present definition of the zodiac.

1 It is by addressing the hunter in all of us that we introduce the true zodiac to the larger public, as everygood hunter will hunt exclusively on the territory that one knows and is as such well mapped.2 Our nearest reference is Hipparchus; a Greek astronomer and mathematician who updated the precessionof the equinoxes and made the first known star chart and is said to have reinvented trigonometry (secondcentury BC). This comparatively recent author merely refreshed the knowledge of the ancients. With ourmodern apparatuses we are able to do much better and yet false belief lingers on the trail of superstition.Already Hipparchus rebuked the Greek astrologers for their lack of update for precession. Hipparchus thusacted as if having Egyptian initiation if not blood. Let us recall that Crete once was an Egyptian colony.3 The authors tend to be “careful” when it comes to the history of humankind. It seems something in uswould not allow venturing beyond the much-overestimated Greek culture. Albeit the Greek inventednothing new, we still tend to rely on exclusive basis. We learn to say that the Greek have invented theumbrella even when we know that it was the Egyptians that did so much before them. Egyptians do notcount, as they are “not part of our culture”. This infantile behavior has brought down many errors that areproudly worn by our European civilization, acting much like a woman that would proudly display a torn-out dress. Conclusively, adding a zero would not make a big error here as our history goes far beyondheedful or thrifty estimation. The Vedic culture and Shumer both knew the zodiac about 3000 BC andearlier. In the case of the Vedic and older cultures, it is possible to add zeroes at will. As Europeanastrology greatly cashes on Greek experience (and error), the important thing is that not all the Greekastronomers knew what they were doing. Hipparchus is surely our best reference.4 The constellation’s name, however, is Scorpius.

THE ECLIPTIC VS THE ZODIAC

The path as traveled by the sun is called the ecliptic. The ecliptic crosses 13

constellations6 on its way. These constellations are unequal. The ecliptic defines the

constellations that the sun crosses on its yearly journey; e.g., it takes more than 40 days

for the sun to cross the large constellation of Virgo, while it journeys through narrow

Scorpius in sometimes less than a week. This Virgo and Scorpius do not occupy 30

degrees of the ecliptic each, as it would appear from various simplifications. The

implications are that the majority of people are born with sun in Virgo and Virgo

ascending7 while just a minority8 is born with sun conjunct Antares in Scorpius.

THE ZODIACAL SIGNS VS THE ORIGINAL CONSTELATIONS

The zodiacal signs are a simplistic representation of some of the original zodiacal

constellations. The zodiacal constellations are not sharing equal parts of the ecliptic at all.

In fact only 13 constellations cross the ecliptic while the rest have nothing to do with the

ecliptic. The zodiac is thus independent from the ecliptic as having a total of 22 zodiacal

constellationsi.

THE ZODIACAL BELT

The reader is liable to come across various definitions of the zodiac and if he does, he can

consider himself lucky. Authors will define the zodiac as “a belt” that extends about 8

degrees (7 or 9 are alternatives) from the equator. That is not a bad definition after all

since it attempts to cover for the extreme zodiacal positions of Venus9 and the Moon.

5 The constellation’s name, however, is Capricornus.6 13 IAU constellations, that is as defined by the IAU. We refer to IAU constellations when we speak aboutconstellations. These constellations nevertheless almost perfectly correspond to all the ancient definitions.7 Scorpius is not presently among the eastern rising constellations, thus the text makes no mention ofScorpius rising. A zodiacal constellation is not at all automatically assumed as eastern rising constellationat a given epoch.8 The author is among the few.9 Venus in Pegasus is one such position. Zic, Klaudio. 2005. Note that Pluto is officially no longer a planet and is as such10 excluded from the zodiac

proper. The majority will consent to the uniformly omnipresent 12 sign zodiac; the one

you are so familiar with that you just can not suspect it could be false. Some readers

surely came across the 13th constellation of the zodiac, Ophiuchus. In researching the

nature of the zodiac one soon discovers that the

PLUTO

Albeit excluded from the company of planets, Pluto has some historical impact on the

zodiac itself. The main surprise to astronomers immediately upon the discovery of Pluto

must have been that the then planet was unable to enter Pisces or Aries since it moves

through Cetus and into Eridanus. “Pluto in Aries” is thus nothing but a silly presumption

on the part of people who really knew nothing about the zodiac. Pluto has added several

zodiacal constellations to the zodiac, most prominently Coma Berenices, Serpens and

Bootes. The historical P-Zodiac still features in our specialized publications dating 2006.

In August 2006, Pluto was demoted from planetary status by the IAU11.

THE EASTERN ASCENDANT

In the article we have mentioned Virgo rising but there is no mention of Scorpius rising.

Why so? Due to the slow rotation of the Earth’s axis that we call precessionii, the

ascendant set on the eastern horizon is changing according to epoch. The rising skies at

east are not the same today much as they were different at the time of King Arthur. At the

time of King Arthur Aries was a rising constellation that formed heroes. What about

today? No more heroes anymore as Aries is not rising at due east. What are the

astrological predictions about, then? Astrologers nowadays know nothing of calculation

or real skies. Most of them are just handling astrological programs that are telling them

this or that. As the error persists more than 2000 years, it has been standardized. The

skies are frozen for the astrologer. We are just trying to prove something that the

astronomers knew already at the time of Hipparchus: astrologers work with presumption 10 Eris, Pluto and Ceres are now defined as ‘dwarf planets’.

and superstition, as they are quite incapable of any serious work. Most of them are

illiterate and mathematically inadequate, besides being morally corrupt. Now let us go

back to our rising constellations. Time will tell which constellations are rising in the east.

Now the reader is surely puzzled about the nature of the ascendant. The ascendant is the

star rising in the east. It is not the star perhaps rising somewhere between southeast and

northeast; it is precisely the star rising at due east.

EASTERN ASCENDANT SET FOR THE PRESENT EPOCH

The eastern star defines the eastern rising constellation. There are 16 eastern rising

constellations at the present epoch12. These constellations can of course be conveniently

observed at east while a mother is giving birth to a child. They are reliable eastern

constellations as visible, that is, observable, in the real sky.

The sample symbol set for the 16 ascendants is as followiii (as given in the endnote).

Remember seeing a spinning top? The spinning goes very fast, but there is also another slow motion thattakes place. This slow rotation of the top's axis is a precession motion. If you observe a spinning top, youwill notice that the precession motion actually describes a cone. If, in the 2nd century BC, Hipparchusmanaged to discover the precession of the equinoxes and calculate its period (26,000 years) with fairprecision, no doubt the reader as an educated, computer-literate denizen of this scientific age won't havemuch problem in understanding precession.

The Earth spins around its axis (which is why we have days and nights). As we saw in the precedingsection, anything that spins undergoes a slow motion called precession. Like a top, the Earth's axistherefore follows a slow precession motion, which describes a cone.

Consequence number 1: pole stars are inconstant. Imagine the Earth as a top. The pole star is the one that isright on top of the top's axis. However, this axis moves! Come back later (in two or three reincarnations,

taking your time) and Alpha of Ursa Minor will no longer be the pole star. In 12,000 years, Vega will bethe pole star. If, however, you come back in 26,000 years from now, the top's precession will have covereda full rotation cycle and Alpha of Ursa Minor will again be the pole star.

Consequence number 2: the equinoxes move too. Equinoxes are the points where the ecliptic crosses thecelestial equator. The celestial equator is the projection of the Earth's equator onto the celestial sphere. Ifthe Earth's axis moves slowly like that of a top, then as time passes her equator will project differently ontothe celestial sphere. If the celestial equator moves then, necessarily, so do the equinoxes.

Note: the precession speed is about 1 degree per 72 years (26,000/360 = 72).

PrecessionPRECES'SION, n. [L. proecessus, proecedo, to go before.]

1. Literally, the act of going before, but in this sense rarely or never used.

1. MOTIVATION

In order to understand the nature of belief andauthority we have chosen the field of astrology.Mostly everyone even in the Judeo-Christianenvironmenti at least vaguely holds onto ashadowy belief in one’s natal “sun sign”. Thisbelief is scientifically false. Please refer toNASA ephemeris as appended to this abstract inorder to determine your true natal sun positionagainst the zodiacal constellations. Determiningyour true sun position at birth serves as triggerfor your original mind to set in. The originalmind is otherwise buried under the layers of falseego and superstition. We make true mindresurface in order to aspire to true authority andleadership, which is our original goal. Falseauthority depends on misinformation. Falseminds exchange misinformation as they are told.

2. PROBLEM

Belief has been attached to authority, whethertrue or, more likely, false, in a vicious string ofassociation. The discreation of false authority tothe detriment of false egoii has been instituted intrue mind distillingiii. The authority of NASA isused to attack the vicious circle of falseassociation as one is suggested to check for thenatal position of one’s sun. There is muchsurprise in stock for those who decide to go for acheck. It will be evident from setting up adiscussion that even learned American people donot believe in NASA. Those people will not find

it possible to define the paradox. One can evenwant to believe NASA but will find unable to doso. This fact proves that there is transcendentalconflict in modern man. The rigid install that wecall default mind is the same for all. If all believein superstition one is forced to do so as well.

3. APPROACH

Our proposal is centers on the inspection of theNASA ephemeris as the true information aboutthe sun will trigger a healing process inhumankind, infested by superstition. Since falsebelief is installed by a cruel predator that CarlosCastaneda calls the voladero, its victims willprotect the false install in violent fashion. Theprospective apprentice is liable to attack the guruby force. Whoever attacks, is not really the pupilbut the program that overtook humanity. Rom3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of theglory of God; In other words all humanity is inneed of exorcism. Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as byone man sin entered into the world, and death bysin; and so death passed upon all men, for thatall have sinned: Exorcism meansdeprogramming false ego. True mind distillinghas been developed from reliable easterntechniques used by avatars and saints. Thisprogram has been studied but it is not uponpsyche to explore psyche. The so-called psycheis not our original mind; it is a parasite. This facthas been long known to Zen masters and JesusChrist as well.

4. RESULTS

The following text serves as introduction to theastrolabeiv, a device used by both astronomersand astrologers. Our modern horoscopes couldrepresent both the superstition (the obsoletezodiac with its 12 signs) and accurate planetarypositions (the IAU system) as well, if suchrepresentation would not cause furtherconfusion. Through all our works, we have usedthe modern astronomic standards that fit nicelywhatever tradition from Egyptian to Shumerianv.

In ancient timesvi (about 550 BC)vii, the eclipticwas divided into twelve sections of 30° each andeach section was named for a constellation thatwas close to that section of the ecliptic. Thisdivision of the ecliptic was called the zodiac and,even though the constellations that originallygave the zodiac divisions their names are nolonger in the same sections, the traditionalnames - Aries ( ), Taurus ( ), Gemini ( ),Cancer ( ), Leo ( ), Virgo ( ), Libra ( ),Scorpio ( ), Sagittarius ( ), Capricorn ( ),Aquarius ( ), and Pisces ( ) - have persisted.On classical astrolabes, the ecliptic istraditionally divided by the zodiac. Thisconvention is partially astronomical since theposition of the Sun or a planet on the zodiac is,by definition, its (geocentric) longitude but isalso due to the fact that astrolabes were widelyused by astrologersviii in the Middle Ages.

People who are new to astronomy often confusethe divisions of the ecliptic with constellationshaving the same nameix. The constellations thatoriginally gave the sections of the ecliptic theirnames have precessed1 to other parts of the sky2.

1 The ascendant set has largely precessed, too.Presently we have 16 ascending constellationswhile in the past the set was doubled. Thenumber of ascending constellations at due eastvaries according to precession. This point wascompletely unknown to European astrologersand astronomers as well for the past 2000 years.2 The result is a shift responsible of greatsurprises to the astrologer, namely the sun is stillin Libra on November 23rd (Sai Baba’s birthday)and there are still greater surprises for those whofollow scientific authority. The NASA ephemerisstrip has everything to do with authority.

The names are now purely arbitrary and theironly use is to define each section of 30° oflongitude. It is, perhaps, more useful to forgetthe names and just think of the ecliptic as beingdivided into 30° sections of geocentric longitude.The figurex shows both divisions.

5. DISCUSSION

The discussion will center around determiningthe authority in question, namely shall we putour trust in “astrologers” or people who arereally qualified as concern astronomicalcalculus? It is clear that a pseudo-astrologer mustretreat from discussion due to poor qualificationin natural sciences. Moreover, false ephemerismust retreat before the authority of NASA. Falsemind holds sway wherever superstition isparamount but is not very concentrated when itcomes to natural sciences. In fact, it is a knownsaying that the devil is not good at mathematicsxi.The denizens are requested to check for their truenatal sun position as determined by theauthoritative NASA ephemerisxii for the sun.

Advanced Astrology


The serious astrologer is probably acquainted with the scientific zodiac and ascendant

set* for the current epoch. Is there more? Depending on your commitment level, you can

make great progress along the following guidelines.

• Astrology is based on the zodiac and ascendant set, but some astrologers may want to

use the Night & Day house system. Actually there is no other house system when it

comes to working with the real sky. Thus after learning the 22 zodiacal constellations

and 16 ascendants one is ready to experiment with the Night & Day house system†.

• The transneptunian giants like Eris, Pluto, Quaoar or Ixion surely count as major

influence upon a horoscope. We have sorted and delineated all these objects‡ for your

use in natal as well as horary astrology.

• There are many classes of objects as used in accurate astrological analysis, namely

the earth coorbitals, outer guardians, giant comets, centaurs, Apoheles and many other

classes of objects. We have meticulously delineated all the representatives of the

aforementioned classes and even formed our own unorthodox classes of objects§.

• The dark planets1 and the Devil’s Rose** may help analysis in special cases2. Cassini

Lilith3 and the planetary nodes may also prove useful. Sometimes we want to look at

New Heaven

(Isa 65:17) For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall notbe remembered, nor come into mind.


As divination based on superstition clouds true mind were happy to be announced

towards a new heaven. What is the use of studying men-made constellations when there

is a new heaven to come?

(2Pe 3:13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new

earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

We see that a new heaven is at the core of the Judeo-Christian creed. Monotheism is

victorious over idolatry and the multiplying adoration of one’s own self-importance, i.e.

false ego or the devil’s install.

The Lord God promises discreation or a new creation to come. Being the Lord God

creation is at His very root.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as athousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; butis longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all shouldcome to repentance.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which theheavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with ferventheat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of personsought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein theheavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

We vaguely dare but imagine that the new heaven wil be illuminated possibly first by a

creative flash and then by the light of God. Perhaps all rotation will stop for an

indeterminate time as karmic wheels1 are stuck. Since we are fairly detached from

astrology we but dared use a hint of divination to come to conclusion. The present world

is stuck in a difficult no-win situation reminding of stalled a Mars Saturn inconjunction.

The changes to come are to come soon. The changes are here now already for those who

see. In order to see one must come out from under the garbage of false creed, false ego

and false astrology.

Hydra is a long constellation adjacent to Virgo, thus many happy superstitious conclusion

may have been deduced in the past concerning the following verse.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and

her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Our purpose is not to teach astrology but to abolish it. In our copious body of work as

concern scientific astrology we have abundantly proved that European astronomers had

no idea of the position of the sun since they used an unnatural zodiac that was convenient

for superstitious calculation only as surely suggested by the imposing devil.

In the days when Venus is victorious in Hydra as it is today, God will crush the head of

the snake, that is false astrology and false creed. It is done by this proclamation since the

very source of new astrology negates astrology as obsolete in the face of the creation of a

new sky.

If we succeeded in unmasking falsity as we believe we did our purpose is complete.

Those who are of the world will of course continue in their blunder. It may be deduced

that they will never see the new heaven.

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be

filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him

Good forbid you should not receive something much better than what you thought your

own wishes and expectations. False ego will be discreated forever as true mind emerges

victorious, much as Venus climbs up from Hydra and into Leo at this time.

The RTRRT were a trick to lure false ego into a trap set by true mind. True magick is true

religion, as any sincere RTRRT devotee will conclude after a couple2 of happy as well as

painful years. There is no pain in refusing sorrow, the devil and the world.

(Isa 66:22) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remainbefore me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Instead of figuring out the portents of 2003 UB313*, let us consider this verse.

(2Pe 3:13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a newearth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The Revelation is a vision of promise come true.

(Rev 21:1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the firstearth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remainbefore me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Isaiah explains why God forbade astrology to his chosen ones. There is no need tocalculate according to a mechanism that is soon to become obsolete.

Isa 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadowof mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and sayunto Zion, Thou art my people.

Since theconcept of the zodiac may be new to the general reader it must first be defined in orderfor the reformation to make sense. The zodiac has 22 IAU constellations. Theauthoritative body is presently the International Astronomy Union. When the IAUdecides that Pluto is not a planet there are good reason for such a decision. Since it is theIAU that determines the borderlines between the constellations it seemed logical to frameour zodiacal research within the borders as dictated by the IAU convention. In order forthe reader to understand better the concepts as introduced by the 16/22 astrology systemwe decided to disclose further details of the now historical zodiacal reformation. Thearticle contains guidelines and hints for absolute beginner as well as astrology expert.

The general information is that the zodiac has 12 signs. While that may be true fornewspaper horoscope writers it is not veritable from the astronomical viewpoint. Wecan not possibly count on definitely dubious astrological data when dealing with anation’s horoscope. In war times it does not matter what the newspaper horoscopesays. We had Moon in Orion on 9/11 and if that does not ring a bell let us remind thereader that Osama bin Laden has Moon in Orion as natal position. Moreover Eris wasprecisely setting in Cetus over the NYC western horizon. These and other data are notavailable through newspaper horoscopes but do in fact influence world events.

The list of real sky positions that definitively influence stock exchange, politics andwar goes beyond this article. It is only natural in a reasonable person that it would bewise to consult NASA in the case of such important horoscopes such as one of theFederal Reserve System. A nation cannot possibly rely on generic astrologicalestimation in the case of recession much as no one in his sound mind would entrust aspace mission to an astrologer.

It is generally assumed that we know what the zodiac is. Already a small listingproduced with NASA equipment may serve as warning against such a presumption.

The reader will note that the Sun is still in Libra on November 23rd. The Sun is inScorpius every year for approximately a week. This makes a Scorpius nativity veryrare in comparison to the most frequent Virgo nativity. No matter what the horoscopesays most people in the street statistically have Sun in Virgo in their nativity. Even ifthe little program says “Scorpio” there is the big bad NASA program that says Virgo.

Nativities are not at all uniformly distributed mostly because the real constellationsare unequal in size. Aries is a small constellation while Taurus occupies a much largerportion of the ecliptic.

The ephemeris for Sun, Venus and Eris are downloadable from our site. In December the Sun is in Ophiuchus thus causing Ophiuchus to become zodiacal.

This is nothing new as one will find plenty material about Sun in Ophiuchus. But the13th constellation of the zodiac does not determine the zodiac in itself! If we woulddetermine the zodiac by the Sun alone we would have 13 zodiacal constellations butwhen we include the paths of the planets plus the Moon we discover a complexzodiacal scheme dealing with exactly 22 zodiacal constellations.

The zodiacal reformation was decided with a peculiar event. One student was fundwith Moon in Sextans. Popular astrological programs would calculate this Moonelsewhere but we found enough reason to keep it in its original place and see what itmay mean. Thus zodiacal reformation really had its beginning with Moon in Sextans.

Prior to discovering Moon in Sextans we knew that the Sun and every planet enterOphiuchus but were unsure of other positions. After a while we became comfortablewith Cetus. Cetus is perhaps the most talked about zodiacal constellation of themoment. It took quite some time and effort to discover the 22 zodiacal constellations.

In the beginning we actually had more than 22 zodiacal constellations since Pluto wasa planet. Pluto caused that several constellations become zodiacal and also dethronedthem on its own demotion from planethood in August 2005. Thus for the generationof the seventies Pluto is still in Coma Berenices but Coma Berenices is not zodiacalany more. The same applies for the next generation with Pluto in Bootes as well asthe current with Pluto in Serpens Cauda. Eridanus and Serpens Caput suffer the samefate. The demotion of Pluto was welcome also because of slight uncertainties as to acouple of constellations being zodiacal or not at the time when we measured Plutoagainst the zodiacal background which as the reader suspects was not an easy task atall. The astrological meaning of Pluto’s present position can be judged by assumingthe eastern constellation was Serpens Cauda when the U.S.A. was born. In that casethe present transit of Pluto in Serpens Cauda is significative for the United States.

Towards the end of our research we discovered that it is Venus that determines thezodiac. In other words the Mayan culture had a point. Venus is important because it

strays off from the ecliptic thus determining the 21 constellations of the zodiac. Didwe say 21? Yes there are in fact only 21 zodiacal constellations.

We decided to introduce the Moon for astrological purposes. It is thus Moon inAuriga that rounds up our definition of the zodiac. It seemed natural that we includethe Moon along with the Sun and the planets as zodiacal determinator.

Whether we shall have Moon in Corvus or Uranus in Cetus is a further matter ofprecise research. Venus does not enter Hydra on every cycle much as the Moon is notin Cetus every month. This makes the astronomic zodiac an exciting as well asunpredictable affair much as life itself!

The scientific zodiac is much of a novelty for astronomers themselves oftenunconcerned about zodiacal affairs. As a couple of indisputable authorities confirm toour own research we decided to propose the zodiac to the IAU. Albeit the IAU hasastrology on its schedule, the body will surely prefer to tackle the zodiac inastronomical terms. We are sure that the experts will have a hard time determining thezodiacal constellations. The complexity of the zodiac may be responsible for the lackof experts in the field. The three authorities that we consulted had uncertaintiesthemselves which were eventually cleared after many years of dedicated work. Ifthere is an enthusiast in the field we can compare our own results as the very firstexperiments were all published. It would be interesting to discuss the validity of theN1, N2, E, X, G and P zodiacs, which were our own working names for the workingvariants. The Plutonian zodiac has been touched upon at the beginning of this veryarticle. X was the working name for the zodiac including 2003 UB313 now Eris.

Summer 2007

In summer 2007 Venus makes a curious maneuver. The Lucifer planet retrogrades in Leoand as often enters Sextans. But this time Venus goes even further towards the evil starand heart of the old snake by entering Hydra constellation. The last spectacular entry ofVenus in Sextans happened in the year 1967, but albeit Venus made a prolonged sojournin Sextans (use Venus reference http://entropy.tmok.com/~tarant8l/dwarf_planets) at the time, nothing canbe compared to Venus in Hydra as concern the spectacular effects on planetary karma.

Mother Hydra

Hydra is a long constellation often coupled with Leo, such as in Egyptian representationsof the zodiac. Both Hydra and Leo are of course zodiacal constellations Leo and Hydraare also among the ascendants for the current epoch. It is interesting that Hydra wasTiamat. The solar hero as often represented by the star Regulus in Leo is no one else butarchangel Michael stabbing the old snake that is Hydra below.

Sumer 2007

2007 is an important year for the planet not only due to Jupiter’s entry into Ophiuchus butespecially on behalf of the very rare occurrence of Venus in Hydra. Moreover bothOphiuchus and Hydra are rising constellations, offering many possibilities for the birth ofa good as well as bad avatar, in other words the messiah and antichrist in the samesummer month in the year 2007.

Since not everyone is familiar with the zodiac and ascendant as they appear in the realsky, it seems convenient to introduce the general public into the intricacies of zodiacalreformation and ascendant upgrade. Thus this article is not at all exclusively addressed towell-meant but often superstitious astrologic people but on the contrary to thescientifically minded as well as free minded patrons of progress of all times.

Precession

The observable vault changes due to precession. Precession is responsible for thedifferent constellations rising at due east as observed from planet Earth. The effect ofchanging eastern constellations has been studied under the phenomenon of the precessedascendant. The shocking news for most amateur astrologers is as follow. Modernastrologers know only a small part of the constellations rising in due east. Astrologers intheir present state of art are familiar only with 5 out of 16 ascending constellations.

Hipparchus

Hipparchus was a Greek astronomer (second century BC) and mathematician whorediscovered the precession of the equinoxes and made the first known star chart and issaid to have invented trigonometry. The catalog of stars we use in our research bears hisname. Astronomers are still aware of the great man who took on himself a tedious as wellas glorious reformatory task.

As astrology was essentially not updated since Hipparchus we made the reformation ofthe zodiac our mission according to the current IAU standards and succeeded in all thetasks we have set at the beginning of our research. The proposed standard is thus 22 IAUconstellations for the astronomic zodiac and 16 current rising constellations as concernastrology. While the astronomic zodiac is a fixed set of constellations, the set ofascendants pertaining to astrology is of course subject to change due to precession.

Zodiacal Update

The current sad state of astrology is not at all something new to this planet. AlreadyHipparchus rebuked his predecessors as concern the update of the stellar vault. Theastronomer observes the stars and planets recording the true positions.

What did the Greek astrologers do before Hipparchus and his reformation? Much as ourmodern astrologers they did not observe any real skies at all as very much as today to beupdated on the real positions of the planet is no easy business. It was easier to transcribeany observations made in the distant past while pretending the position of the stars,constellations and ascendants did not change much. As the majority was illiterateapparently nobody noticed.

What we have today is much the same situation. Nobody noticed and the few who didclosed an eye while filling their purse.

NASA

Our calculations are based on the present state of art in numerical integration as based onNASA JPL models. We completely depend on observation. After we scan the vault withsophisticated tools we offer flowery delineation on the solid basis of scientific astrology.

Precession bis

The effects of precession are dramatically felt in astrology. Namely the ascendant isliable to change in the course of time. Various sets of ascendants pertain to variousepochs of human history. The Grail epoch had Crater ascending, decaying Egypt hadLepus ascending, Nero had Delphinus ascending in his sunrise chart. Heroic times arelong gone, as Aries cannot possibly rise in due east nowadays. Another constellation thatrose in heroic times was Crater. King Clovis, King Arthur and the Grail heroes were mostprobably born with Crater ascending in their horoscopes. Much as Aries, Crater, the

ascendant that inspired the Grail campaign, cannot possibly rise in our times. Times havechanged as we face the imminent rise of Venus in Hydra.

A Short History of Modern Astrology


Cisneptunian Age

In the naive time when modern astrology was still young we experimented with asteroidsand especially the first centaurs. When an object designated as 1992 QB1 was discoveredwe knew it was “from the other side of Neptune”, therefore the first real transneptunian.

Prior to the discovery of 1992 QB1 “Smiley” or the first cubewano we had the darkplanets, avestans, Cassini Lilith, Nibiru, Nemesis, the black sun, Devil’s Rose, theuranian hamburgers and many other more or less hypothetical objects and sets of objects.

Those were the times when astrologers had centaur Chiron in their charts with perhapssome main belt asteroids like Eunomia, Ceres or Juno. Our own interest turned towardsthe first real transneptunian objects like 1992 QB1. A number of centaurs were added toour maps like Asbolus, Nessus, Pholus and Chariklo.

For a while we were still clinging to the 17 dark planets and a growing number ofcentaurs when it soon became evident that the transneptunian objects grew in size andimportance. While never desisting centaur delineation, our attention was naturallyfocused on the giant transneptunian objects. Those generally fell into three categories,namely cubewano, SDO and plutino. The first real giant was celebrated as Varuna. Verysoon the plutino and cubewano giants overlapped while dwarfing each other andespecially intimidating the major main belt asteroids. Juno became a dwarf with thediscovery of Varuna, Ixion, Quaoar, Sedna, Orcus and Eris. All giant transneptunianobjects were delineated while still bearing provisory designation, therefore the namingdid not influence genuine delineation, at least as concern our own delineation which willremain unique due to the enormous output as well as astronomic approach. Varuna hasbeen deployed as watery jihad planet. Quaoar received triune delineation in the 12 housesalong with 500 MB of material. Megabytes became gigabytes as 2003 UB313 set in. Erisis the most published object of the moment with over 300 publications and an enormousbody of research material. Others had to wait for years in order for some still non-existingastrologic program that has the option to output transneptunian positions correctly.

Zodiacal Reformation

The zodiacal reformation happened step by step as we recorded the objects in their realpositions in the sky. We did not use so-called astrological wheel charts much as it washardly conceivable to have 500 objects on the chart wheel. The reasons for deployingastronomic equipment were of practical nature. The essential scan of the zodiac wasperformed during two months. Our research starts with Moon in Sextans and has happyend with Venus in Pegasus. All material was readily published online in textual, PDF,animated GIF and html format on USENET newsgroups like alt.astrology.marketplace.

By the discovery of 2003 UB313 Eris we had a zodiac. In August 2005 we actually hadthe N, P, X, E and G zodiacs. What survives is the N zodiac with its 22 reformed IAUconstellations. This zodiac is very handy when considering Jupiter in Ophiuchus orVenus in Hydra in the year 2007.

Zodiacal reformation happened on a modest DOS machine loaded with SKYGLOBEprogram. The current version of the zodiac for general use claims 22 IAU constellations.

The precessed ascendant is simply natal east. Working on the precession of the ascendantwas easy in comparison with the intricacies of the true zodiac. We set the number ofrising constellations at 16 for the current epoch. While the astronomic zodiac still waitsfor confirmation, the precessed ascendant is a reliable as well as workable astrologicbreakthrough.

The precessed ascendant is not a static thing at all as precession dictates change innumber and quality of the rising ascendants in due east.

The ecliptic ascendant was reformed along with the precessed. Our main example was theU.S.A. with Ophiuchus for ecliptic ascendant. The U.S.A. has Serpens rising in due east.

During the reformation we had to consider Pluto as planet. We were deciding the bordersof the P zodiac when 2003 UB313 happened along with the X zodiac as published onAugust 1st 2005. We had a new planet that dictated a completely eccentric zodiac. The10th planet Xena lasted for one year before its rebaptism as Eris of the dwarf planets.

The Zodiac

The study of the zodiac is a fascinating adventure into the intricate relationship of theplanets against the tapestry of stars. We have found the present IAU convention verysuitable for our zodiacal research even when compared to the system as used by such oldcivilizations as the Egyptian. Apart from minor considerations we are still using much thesame set of zodiacal and extrazodiacal constellations as our honorable predecessors.

The zodiac can be defined, as the sum of constellations that the Sun, the Moon andplanets cross on their journey Contrary to popular expectation this sum is exactly 24 IAUconstellations. As follow is a proposal for a general lecture in popular astronomy.

The Recent History of the Zodiac

The zodiacal reformation had various stages. The first stage defined the so-calledNeptunian zodiac. This astronomic zodiac covers 24 IAU constellations. It is preciselythis zodiac that was proposed to the IAU and is about to be re-proposed in the light of thecurrent changes as adopted by the International Astronomic Union in August 2006 asconcern dwarf planet Pluto.

Pluto proposed four new constellations to be accepted as zodiacal. At the time when Plutowas a planet we had e.g. Pluto rising in Eridanus for a zodiacal position. While Eridanusremains an ascending constellation it is no longer zodiacal. For a constellation to bezodiacal means having lifetime status as zodiacal. An ascending constellation is risingonly at an appropriate epoch. Aries e.g. remains zodiacal albeit it cannot rise in due eastat this epoch.

The expanded zodiac that included Pluto as planet was termed Plutonian or P zodiac. Thisleft us with N and P zodiac. We were solving the intricacies of the two when the X zodiacwas born. 2003 UB313 appeared to be larger than Pluto. In early August 2005 “Xena”was assumed to be the 10th planet. This event expanded the zodiac into X zodiac. Thiszodiac applies the path of 2003 UB313 to the P zodiac. Coma Berenices is nothing newbut adding Canes Venatici or Tucana to the already large body of zodiacal constellationsdid not appear to be a practical affair at all. Luckily dwarf planet Eris cancelled the doubt.

The Ascendant

The ascendant pertains to astrological terminology in its own right. Since the IAU hasastrology as proposed within its program we are adding this note for the benefit ofastronomers that may have the habit of introducing themselves by ascendant and sunsign. It is easy to see why the sun sign pertains to superstition. Now the reason why thepopular ascendant pertains to the same category is quite a different one.

The IAU convention has divided the vault into 88 constellations. All of these 88 IAUconstellations can be observed as rising in due east at the appropriate epoch. Theinspection of the eastern horizon quickly shows that we have 16 rising constellations indue east at this epoch. Since the number of rising or ascending constellations changeswith epoch we were able to determine different skies for different epochs withappropriate conclusions as to the nature of constellations and the variety of humancharacter at the given epoch. Contrary to what one would expect the number of risingconstellations doubles at the time of Egypt and Babylon. The observing priests of courseshould have known the details. It is easy to imagine the Mayan expert dabbling withsomething that the IAU would categorize as Venus in Hydra rising. Hydra might havebeen Tiamat in old Sumer much as it was coupled with Leo in old Egypt. Albeit we haveno record of any special observation, our own research came to the point where it isunderstandable that the Mayan experts were quite capable of recording positions likeVenus in Pegasus or Hydra much as our own astronomers record such positions as matterof fact. Nowadays everybody can assert from authoritative sources that Venus is in Orion(summer 2006) or in Hydra (summer 2007). There is no more need for ritual pyramidssince in order to determine the position of the planets we use authoritative NASAephemeris as well as our own telescopes along with popular astronomic programs as well.

The First Steps in Zodiacal Research

Any planetarium program will help the naked eye with determining the position of theplanets against the tapestry made of IAU constellations. The first step for the generalpublic is to determine the position of the Sun in Ophiuchus. This may not be congruous tothe general opinion of what the zodiac should be. Advanced astrologers will compare thestar conjunct Sun and conclude the stars are really in Ophiuchus constellation. The Sun isconjunct the stars in Ophiuchus during its journey through Ophiuchus. This apparentlymatter of fact statement can nevertheless give rise to discussion since there are manypoints to clear out before scientific truth convinces popular superstition. Who isresponsible for popular superstition? Amazing, as it seems it is the scientists themselves!

Sai Baba has been informed his own natal Sun is still in Libra on Nov 23rd. The reasonfor trusting NASA is that it is reliable. The proof is that even people who experiment withpopular astrology take the numerical model of calculation from NASA. Jon Giorgini ofNASA JPL and his HORIZONS integrator serve as model and scientists as AldoVitagliano with his Solex program follow. The best operators will try and follow alongthis line for accuracy and precision. What is more important than accuracy, is truth. It isof no use to precisely determine the wrong thing as many mangled programs and non-authoritative ephemerides propose.

Sun Position Implications

It goes without saying that one who cannot determine the position of the Sun cannot possibly qualify asexpert. In December the Sun is conjunct the stars of Ophiuchus. Since Jupiter and Pluto are in Ophiuchuson occasion it is necessary to know this fact in order to predict issues. In the year 2007 holy cosmology willhave to assist mothers with Venus in Hydra deliveries. Venus is in Hydra in summer 2007. The operatoradjusts to the position of the Sun, then checks the often-surprising zodiacal station of the Moon andproceeds towards conclusion on the basis of peculiar zodiacal positions.

Venus in Orion

Alice could be your child, too. Alice was born in summer 2004 with Eris ascending inCetus, Moon in Cetus, Mercury in Sextans, Venus in Orion, Juno in Scutum and Pluto inSerpens. The major zodiacal event of the moment (2006 – 2007) is Jupiter in Ophiuchusalong with Pluto's comeback into Ophiuchus (2006). Venus enters Hydra (2007) on rareoccasion when retrograde through Sextans. Venus was in Orion in summer 2006.

Piscean Era

Children are being born with Sun in Pisces at spring equinox. Precession makes for anychanges in the position of the Sun at spring equinox. We are presently in the Age ofPisces, thus the Sun is in Pisces on spring equinox. This and other quite commonastronomic facts appear to the “primitive” as well as learned humans all over the planet.

The Invention of the Eastern Ascendant

Sooner or later everybody notices that his ascendant is not at all there! Anyone inspectingwith the telescope would find that e.g. Aries could not possibly rise in due east at thisepoch. This leaves us with a question: “Where are the ascendants?”

The answer seems obvious: right on the eastern horizon at birth. But where exactly do wefind the eastern ascendant in the horoscope as well as real sky? Due east is a cardinalpoint often marked with an “E”. The ascendant is a point at the eastern horizon. Moreprecisely the ascendant is the eastern intersection of the horizon with the equator.

Eastern Ascendant Definition

The eastern ascendant can be defined in several ways.

\ Eastern star. The star rising in due east can be thought of as guardian angel.

\ Eastern IAU constellation. There are presently 16 rising constellations.

\ Precessed ascendant. This definition stresses the change in number and quality ofthe eastern constellations according to epoch and precession.

\ Variable ascendant. The ecliptic ascendant is fairly uniform but the due easternascendant varies according to epoch. The same set of ascendants is not at all valid inevery epoch. Our current epoch has a modest set made of only 16 ascendants.

\ The eastern ascendant is the intersection of the horizon with the equator.

Why don’t we follow the omens as portended by the ecliptic ascendant? Quite simplybecause the ecliptic ascendant does not point at the east at all. We had to introduce theterm “ecliptic ascendant” when we analyzed the horoscope of the U.S.A. in order to

differentiate eastern ascendant with other ascendants such as the galactic, ecliptic,magnetic and so on. We have found the eastern ascendant for the U.S.A. is Serpens butthe ecliptic ascendant is Ophiuchus. Results may vary for the U.S.A. with generalvariance from Aquila to Ophiuchus in the case of the eastern ascendant. Thus the U.S.A.most probably has Serpens Cauda ascending and but in settling for a reasonable tolerancethe U.S.A. could have Aquila or Ophiuchus ascending at due east according to the timinggiven by selected authorities.

About the Zodiac and Ascendant

The zodiacal constellations have nothing to do with the ascendental constellations for theepoch. The zodiacal constellations are fixed in number and quality while the ascendantset is liable to change due to precession.

Lepus is not very likely ever to become zodiacal but as each and every of the 88 IAUconstellations it is rightfully ascending in its own epoch. Thus the set of 22 zodiacalconstellations is a locked set while the set of ascendants changes with epoch.

A Short History of the Eastern Ascendant

In the course of our zodiacal reformation it became evident that if we want to keep to ourown standards we have to include the reformation of the ascendant in our research. Thematter of selecting sets of ascending constellations for different epochs proved interestingabove all expectation. Our publications soon included not only sets of ascendant forremote epochs but also sets of meridian constellations for Our policy is extremely simplesince we let “God and NASA” take care of the position of the planets. We don’t intervenewith “astrology”, that is distortion. The sky is left just where it is and like you wouldobserve it with naked eye or telescope. We don’t invent constellations that are not there.As a matter of fact we keep to the universally accepted IAU convention. It may lookshocking to look at things as they really are after perhaps 2000 years of poor update.Astronomers did much the same as they updated the sky for precession. Astronomy is areliable science that manages to face a real sky with competence. We never had anyobjection to astronomy as we progressed in our research.

Where is the Ascendant?

One could rightfully ask where one’s own ascendant might really be? It is not there! Itsurely isn’t there. It simply isn’t there at all. It never was there at all. Only five out ofsixteen ascendants vaguely recall generally known ascending constellations. We are latefor the update as perhaps 2000 years of darkness passed us by. We are sorry to delude thegeneral public but you won’t find the astrologic output in the real sky as every astrologercan check for himself by simply leaning through the window.

A lady complained about people bugging her on account of her “Capricorn ascendant”. Itwas a matter of seconds to change her worried face into surprised countenance Truthcould do wonders as opposed to misinterpretation. Why go around with a false identity?

The ascendant was not at all “Capricorn”; it was Pisces. Now that’s a great leap in karmicprogress indeed. The lady’s Sun in Virgo was misinterpreted by the standard astrologicalprogram as “Sun in Scorpio”. The Sun is clearly conjunct a star in Virgo constellation.

Checking by stars often serves as first aid in dubious cases. One of the difficult cases thatwe had to resolve was that of avatar Sai Baba that was decided to be incarnated with Sunin Libra albeit born as late as November 23rd. We mailed our findings to the avatar alongwith making the material available for free download from the site. Namely the Sun isstill in Libra on November 23rd. If that does not offer reason for contempt...

All this facts are purely scientific and can be checked with NASA ephemeris asdownloadable from the site. As aforesaid we did not invent astronomy but we surely didmuch in dispelling lethal superstition all over the planet. Superstition is opposed togenuine magick, astrology and religion.

The History of the Zodiac

The new transneptunian discoveries had a start in the year 1992 when the first cubewanoobject was found. New classes of objects emerged that were completely unknown toastrologers at the time. We had to load the new discoveries into any astronomic programto keep the update as there were no astrological programs that would track scores ofcentaurs, cubewano, plutino or scattered objects. A new house system was developed tohelp defining the proper house for the scattered objects. This house system is still in itsexperimental phase by the working name of Night & Day house system.

Our own private research into the zodiac begun with Moon in Sextans, The position ofMoon in Sextans was found with a most common astrologic program, to be investigatedwith modest astronomic equipment. We have not only confirmed Moon in Sextans butalso found Mercury in Sextans for Keanu Reeves as well as Venus in Sextans. Sextansfigured not only as zodiacal position but also as the ascendant of the Vatican. In amonth’s time we had the first draft of the astronomic zodiac. It took years to decide forthe 22 IAU zodiac that is our present standard as proposed for the Age of Aquarius. Theage of illumination may be 650 years from now but the tools are already emerging. Ourbasic tools are the astronomic zodiac, precessed ascendant and a special house system.

Example

The most famous example is perhaps the phenomenon labeled as “Hydra kid”. Namely inthe year 2007 a rare entrance of Venus in Hydra happens in the month of August.Children will be born with Venus in Hydra at the ascendant, as Hydra is not only zodiacalbut also ascendental. Religiously more fortunate births will happen with Jupiter inOphiuchus at the ascendant. Ophiuchus, much as Hydra, is both zodiacal and ascendental.

The 22 IAU Zodiacal Constellations


Our zodiacal research has come to a happy end towards September 2006. The N1 zodiacor Neptunian zodiac is now the astronomic zodiac that we are about to re-propose to theIAU. Some five years ago we have proposed the reintegration of scientific astrology tothe IAU. The International Astronomy Union has astrology among its programs but it ofcourse deals with more important stuff first especially since the dwarf planets set in.

Why 22 IAU constellations? If Venus alone would define the zodiac we would have 21zodiacal constellations but when the Moon is included we have to add one moreconstellation to the astronomic zodiac. This peculiar constellation co-rules the Orionstargate and the galactic equator intersection with the ecliptic. This constellation is knownby the name of Auriga or chariot. The position of Moon in Auriga is generally a symptomof refugees and thus war in political astrology. In pet astrology one would deal with astraying dog. Often the affair is unclear such as in the case of the missing goldenretriever. Dogs are regulated by constellations such as Auriga or Canis Minor. Ourdedicated publications deal with the intricacies of Moon in Auriga or Eris in Canis Major.

The scans will show some extra constellations since we decided to include the originalmaterial that was of course compiled at the time when Pluto was at least officially still aplanet. The P zodiac is for the Pluto astrologer what the X zodiac is for the Erisastrologer. One must simply know all the positions the dwarf planet in question assumeson its journey. Many errors can be made assuming absurdities like “Pluto is in Aries” or“Eris in Taurus” since these positions result simply impossible in real life.

The zodiacal reformation was concluded in August 2005 with the IAU resolution thatfinally put an end to Pluto’s planethood. A dwarf planet named Eris has been recentlyfound larger than Pluto. Objects of considerable dimensions keep being discovered afterthe breakthrough as marked by Varuna’s discovery. The list was produced by NASA JPL horizons accessed via UNIX shell telnet prompt.Note that Pluto is listed among asteroids or more properly dwarf planets. Ceres and Vestaare of course historical main belt asteroids. Ceres is moreover officially a dwarf planet.

The redefinition of the zodiac was dictated by a growing number of transneptunian giantsas well as centaur objects that swapped between zodiacal and extrazodiacal constellationsduring a predictive analysis of the natal sky. The question to be answered was “What is azodiacal constellation?”

Definition of the Zodiac

How was the zodiac determined? The planetary positions were tested against the IAUconstellations. It immediately appeared that there are more than 13 constellations that arezodiacal. Ophiuchus and Cetus are some of the best known zodiacal constellations. Aftervarious approaches Venus and the Moon determined the state-of-art zodiac as we have ittoday. Moon in Auriga sealed the 22 constellations of the zodiac in a definite renderingfor the eon to come.

Definition of the Ascendant

The ascendant is defined as eastern star and constellation. On careful inspection we havefound 16 constellations ascending in due east at this epoch. The set of ascendants isbound to change with precession. Thus the eastern ascendant was also called theprecessed ascendant.

Deprecated Zodiac

The now deprecated 12 sign model of the local universe may still be valid forentertainment purposes but it of course cannot account for accurate precision such inprediction. Typically an astrological program does not show the natal sky at all. One is atbest assigned “Capricorn ascendant” when Pisces are rising or is told to be born in a“Scorpio sun-sign” when the natal Sun is clearly in Virgo. The confusion made by so-called astrologers is great as damage as concern identification with life goals andespecially the choice of partners.

Synastry

Many cases of Neptune in 7th will prove to be Neptune in 6th. When planet positions arecorrectly calculated many a surprise will spring up in one’s natal chart. One of the mostremarkable effects of the true sky horoscope was called “frog leaping of planets”. Whenthe real sky is applied to the natal horoscope planets exchange places. Planets doexchange places but they do not rotate by a fixed angle in one direction. It rather happensthat they leap e.g. from 6th into 8th house. So what was e.g. printed out by some non-scientific program as Venus in the 6th house may appear as Venus in the 8th house in thereal sky. What is most remarkable is that it is presently difficult to predict at a glancewhich planets will “leap house” versus those who will more or less remain in their place.

The overall result is that we are facing a completely new horoscope as based on the truesky. One feels naturally inclined to trust one’s own eyes as well as true skies instead of

mere superstition. Our mission is to provide a choice. As all calculations are produceddirectly on NASA equipment or NASA compatible equipment we are offering scientificproof instead of superstition. This fact of course reverses all that has been done toastrology in the past 4000 years.

Are we dealing with a new system of astrology?

We are positively dealing with a new system of thought but we invented nothing new,astronomically speaking, all we did is render the real sky instead of presenting a model.

What is the 16/22 Astrology System?

22 stands for 22 zodiacal constellations while 16 stands for the current set of 16ascendants. The 16/22 system deals with the real sky instead of simple models such asthose propagated by popularized astrology.

Aren’t there 12 zodiacal stations?

The 13 zodiacal stations are valid for the Sun. Ophiuchus is the central station. Venusdefines 21 zodiacal constellation while the Moon adds Auriga to the zodiacal stations.

Where is the Sun actually?

While people get confused with various theories the Sun is exactly where we observe it inthe true sky. When the Sun is conjunct a star pertaining to Libra it is in the constellationof Libra. The NASA ephemerides for the Sun are authoritative as given below.

So adjust to the true position of yournatal Sun if you intend to calculate a correct natal horoscope. "Oph" stands forOphiuchus, one of the best-known zodiacal stations. There are 22 zodiacal constellationsin all. Jupiter is in Ophiuchus in the year 2007.

Am I still a “Scorpio” in your system?

Probably not! You may have Sun in Virgo if you have been told you’re a “Scorpio”. Alsoyou may have Pisces rising if you have been told that your ascendant is “Capricorn”.

What are the benefits of 16/22 astrology?

Truth is the most interesting gain from 16/22 astrology. The incipient astrologer faces thereal sky in much the same manner as an Egyptian initiate. One is free from falseidentification as one works with the true natal positions.

In technical terms errors up to 270 degrees are no longer possible. If Pisces are ascendingone safely discards what the little astrological program says. That saves much falseidentification. When the Sun is conjunct Spica Virginis it is in Virgo. Why is Spica Virginis in Virgo?Because it is the main as well as the brightest star of Virgo constellation. Already thename and symbolism suggest it. Nevertheless “astrologers” will have this star elsewhereaccording to their “point of view”, thus for many it will be deep in Libra.

It is unthinkable that with NASA in the backyard we still celebrate a spring equinox birthas "Aries" when we are towards the end of the Piscean era. In the age of Pisces childrenare born in the sign of Pisces on spring equinox. That is the very definition of our era.

Where are the 22 zodiacal constellations?

Taking for example the Orion stargate area, the planets usually pursue their voyagethrough Taurus and into Gemini. Orion and Auriga are between Taurus and Gemini. Onoccasion the Moon ventures into Auriga or Orion. That makes Auriga and Orion zodiacal.

How are the calculations performed?

The calculations are performed on NASA equipment. Astronomic equipment is used inmost cases. Also astrological equipment is used in some cases. Some astrologic programsare quite capable of calculating the true position of the planets.

What about astrological calculation? Is it valid?

If we take NASA to be the authority then all previous astrological calculation can be seenas entertainment. Various programs, books and web sites may entertain but surely notcompute real natal positions. This is a known fact as making resort to eastern or siderealastrology does not help much with the real positions of one’s natal planets.

Which are my real natal positions?

Alice was born on August 4th 2004 with Moon in Cetus, Mercury in Sextans and Venusin Orion. These are her real natal positions. She also has Hydra rising, Juno in Scutumand Pluto in Serpens. That makes Alice a special child indeed. It is clear that no sidereal,Vedic or tropical astrology can inform you of your true natal positions.

Another example is Sai Baba born on November 23rd with Sun in Libra. Sun in Libra isSai Baba’s true natal position. NASA ephemeris along with real sky observation can helpto clear out any doubt as concern such basic truths as to where is the Sun in your natalchart. Astrologers were quite unable to tell their own natal Sun position in the past 3000years. This explains why astronomers gave up on astrology long time ago. Whenastrology is based on the true positions then everything fits into its place.

Why don’t we have 22 ascendants?

The ascendant has nothing to do with the zodiac. The zodiac is a fixed affair while thenumber of ascending constellations is due to change according to precession and epoch.The present epoch has 16 ascendants meaning we are rather uniform in character whilethe previous epochs abounded with ascendants making for diversity. Language hasbecome uniform and Internet is helping us with becoming very much the same all acrossthe planet. Previous epochs had a larger number of ascendants hence diversity in culture.

With two or three score of ascendants life was variegated. Jeans, unisex and Internet havemade us uniform.

How is the ascendant defined?

The ascendant is defined as the eastern star and constellation. The set of ascendants forthe current epoch is 16 in number. The number of ascending constellations changesaccording to precession.

How many ascendants are there?

There are 88 ascendants in all according to the IAU convention. A cowardice pharaohcould have Lepus ascending while a mighty magician could have Draco on the ascendant.

How many constellations are out there?

There are 88 IAU constellations out there of which 22 are zodiacal. We group theseconstellations on various occasions, thus we use the set of meridian constellations andalso polar constellations in special calculus. The extrazodiacal constellations mingle withthe x-zodiacal and so on. While all 88 constellations can be ascendental only 22 arezodiacal. The zodiac changes when we move from planet Earth and into the space. Theconstellations are also differently used in planetocentric astrology.

Is the astronomic zodiac an official issue yet?

We proposed and are about to re-propose the astronomic zodiac to the IAU. Theinternational astronomy institution has in fact an astrological program on its schedule.

The astronomic zodiac is still a mystery for 99% of the astronomers while astrologersprobably can not even conceive that there is something like Sun in Ophiuchus or Venusin Scutum.

The ascendant system is of no interest to astronomy much as the meridian constellationsattain to their meaning in business astrology only.

The following is a collection of the most interesting points in 16/22 astrology.

j November 23rd is the birthday of Sai Baba with Sun in Libra. It is with this simplefact as purported by NASA ephemeris that we start this digest on 16/22 astrology.

j Where is the Sun on November 23rd? It is usually in Libra but already transiting intoScorpius. It’ll sojourn in Scorpius for a week before settling for large Ophiuchus.

The NASA ephemerides are authoritative as concern the position of the Sun. If you areborn in the first half of December you are probably an Ophiuchian.

j The calculations were performed directly on the NASA JPL server at Pasadena, CAthrough command prompt on a Silicon Graphics Indy workstation UNIX shell. Thezodiacal reformation started when Internet was mainly a command prompt thing.

j How did we discover the 22 constellations of the zodiac? It started with Sextans. Astudent of ours was found with Moon in Sextans. The switch we used with astrologprogram was –XF. In those DOS times we deployed a little program called theSkyglobe to determine the other constellations of the zodiac. It took 2 months toobtain a workable frame for the zodiacal reformation. A 3 MB RAM i386 machinewith 20 MB HD was used. The transneptunian simulations were made with a programcalled the Dance of the Planets. We used this program much at the time as the greatdiscoveries of transneptunian giants like Varuna approached a still naive astrology.

j As Pluto was still a planet at the time we worked with the then zodiacal constellationsof Serpens Caput, Serpens Cauda, Eridanus, Coma Berenices and Bootes. Pluto is justout of Serpens Cauda as we write this in December 2006. The ’70s generation hadPluto in Coma Berenices while the ‘80s generation had Pluto in Bootes. ComaBerenices was a zodiacal station before the demotion of Pluto in August 2006. It issince August 2006 that we have our final version of the zodiac. The working versionsof the zodiac are still valid under working names like N1, N2, P, G, E and X zodiac.The X zodiac is particularly of interest since it portrays the motion of Eris. “G” standsfor galactic zodiac. Cygnus is thus the galactic ascendant of the U.S.A. and so on.

j The ascending constellations were easy to track down and record for further use.What is the ascendant? The ascendant is the star rising in the east. This sort ofcalculus is subject to precession. The ascendant set changes in time. If the zodiac asdefined from planet earth is something definite, the ascendants are not. The set ofascendants greatly changes due to precession. There are 88 ascendants in all while thezodiacal constellations are exactly 22. 22 are a fixed number especially since theAugust 2006 IAU resolution. Thus the zodiac has 22 constellations but there are 88ascendants in all of which only 16 rise in due east at this epoch.

j It took perhaps half an hour to determine the current state of the ascendant. Thenumber of ascendants was recorded as 16 for the current epoch. It may seem amazingthat in 3000 years or so no one cared to look at the horizon and record the changesthere. We also determined the non-eastern or ecliptic ascendant. Thus the U.S.A. hasSerpens Cauda ascending in due east but Ophiuchus for ecliptic ascendant.

j What was astrology at the time? The programs were based on a simple model that asmany other models had nothing to do with the real sky. You could not go on and say,“your Moon is in Ophiuchus” since astrologers were not ready for any work with thereal positions of the platens. The programs they were using distorted and squeezed thesolar system to a model that could be used for entertainment only. This model wouldshow impossible positions like Pluto rising in Aries and the alike. Pluto never entersAries much as Aries is not ascending in the east at this time.

j How did an average horoscope look like at the time? The horoscope would show awheel chart with 12 ascendants and 12 zodiacal signs. This is much like horoscopeswill look for some time in astrological backwaters.

j Can astrological programs work out my own true natal positions?

Alice was born on August 4th 2004 with Moon in Cetus, Mercury in Sextans andVenus in Orion. These are her real natal positions. She also has Hydra rising, Juno inScutum and Pluto in Serpens. That makes Alice a special child indeed. It is clear thatno sidereal, Vedic or tropical astrology can inform you of your true natal positions.

If you have an astrological program that is able to calculate the above positions thenenjoy it. Some programs may partially be able to suggest real positions but hardly anyastrological program is able to determine the ascendant.

j How come nobody cared? Humanity is at the mercy of a mind that is not its own.Already Hipparchus protested at the lack of update on the part of astrologers. Theskies were left without an update since the clients were credulous enough for theastrological business to run smooth.

j Even today with NASA in the backyard clients don’t complain. The astrologicalcommunity bows down to authorities that had nothing to do with the sky at all. Muchas in politics it is the narrator that wins confidence. People with absolutely noastrological aspects in their natal charts wrote nice things about impossible planetarypositions. You wouldn’t entrust an astrologer with a space shuttle but you are notinclined to trust NASA with your horoscope. The problem is transcendental and has

much to do with exorcism. Much as people believe in impossible positions like “Plutoin Aries” as suggested by “authorities” with Venus square Neptune in their natalchart, so did the Nazi believe in hollow Earth and the alike. There is still belief insquare earth in the U.S.A. much as Hare Krishna authorities know that the Moon isgreen and Apollo never set its foot on that satellite.

j After a while we come to the point where arguments are no longer needed. Everyoneknows that NASA probably knows how to determine the position of the planets.NASA is hard to accept as authority since it is probably right. Thus the source ofevery astrological calculation is denied. Corrupt “scientists” make large use of NASAmodels in their calculation while feeding the large astrological community withnonsense and superstition. But people like to be lied to after all.

j False ego is essentially a list. One can expand this list or collapse. People accustomedto a narrow list of possibilities will gladly accept that Spica Virginis is in Libra. Suchobvious inanities abound as issued by “astrological authorities”. Perhaps they werepolitical authorities at the time. How could the Queen’s astrologer be wrong?

j First of all the queen’s astrologer could have some necessary aspects for his politicalambitions while detrimental to any astrology. A Neptune square will do with someMercury afflictions. Thus with Venus square Neptune it is not the apex of treason anddeceit in an astrological authority for the masses. The only aspects that lack in thecharts of authorities are astrological aspects.

j Good aspects from Uranus are not enough. Saturn has to join Uranus in good aspectto warrant for astronomically correct calculus. Sun trine Uranus is best with a goodaspect from Saturn. Even someone with a harmonious aspect between Jupiter,Uranus, Sun and the Moon may profit from a good Saturn aspect in order to knowhow to determine the position of the Sun, the ascendant and avoid writing about“Pluto in Aries” and the other host of pseudo-astrological inanities.

j Even with astrological aspects no one thought of protesting against an unmovingsystem and frozen sky up to the date and with the advent of democracy everyone hasthe right to one’s own vote. So who do you vote for is the one you trust in as packedwithin the cheep install of your personal mind The crisis with personality is that thereis no personality. All obtain the same mind with minimum variations and areessentially the same since age three and earlier. The devil works out control on thenewborn by producing computers for babies. In that way the personal devil will gaineven more control over his lunch flock. It is a known fact that the devil feeds onemotions emanating from imposed frustrations that have nothing to do with truemind.

j The 16/22 system is astronomy. It has nothing to do with any astrology in current uselike the Vedic, tropical or sidereal. It is close to old Egyptian, Navajo or Mayanastrology though. If there was a civilization that recorded the events in the sky just asthey were observed then the 16/22 system is close to it.

The 22 Constellations of the Zodiac

The zodiac has 22 constellations. The following text describes a simplified model of theastronomic zodiac for didactic as well as astrological purpose. While in our 16/22 seriesof publications the constellations are portrayed in astronomic detail, in this note anddiagram we briefly describe the positions of the zodiacal constellations that were lessfamiliar with the general public before our zodiacal reformation.

Venus as Zodiacal Determinator

The zodiac can be determined by tracking Venus across the sky. Venus e.g. drops fromPegasus through Pisces and into Cetus thus determining the triplet as zodiacalconstellations. Venus alone would determine the zodiac would it not be for a specialconstellation of Auriga that we included in our final version of the zodiac. Moon inAuriga functions as the 22nd zodiacal position. Venus does not enter Auriga.

Disclaimer

Albeit Venus covers 21 zodiacal stations it does not mean that other planets all share thesame constellations. Jupiter does not enter Corvus neither does Saturn enter Pegasus. The Stargate

The stargate is a starting point in astrologic initiation. The area is determined by theintersection of the galactic equator with the ecliptic. Gemini parts with Taurus whereOrion enters the scene from below and Auriga from above. The wider stargate area isthus covered by four zodiacal constellations, namely Taurus, Orion, Auriga and Gemini.

Simplified Real Zodiac Wheel Chart for Astrologers

The simplified wheel chart would contain Cetus and Pegasus between Aquarius andPisces as well as Orion and Auriga between Taurus and Gemini. “Between” is anawkward way to put it while we are dealing with simplified models and not withastronomic projection. Scutum and Ophiuchus fit between Sagittarius and Scorpius.Hydra is below Leo with Sextans, Crater and Corvus on its back. The zodiac is thusdefined.
