Depot: terminal designed to receive or release empty containers so that they can be exported or returned.Clearance/clearance over water: this is a modality of import clearance for importers accredited by the SRF/Customs, which may or may not be (OAS) with Authorized Economic Operators in the modality that allows the registration of the Import Declaration (DI) of goods while still in transit on board the ship.DTA: Customs Transit declaration, is a regime that allows the transit/transport of imported cargo within Brazil with suspension of taxes during the process, for clearance in another bonded area in another SRF/Customs clearance unit.

OOG: Out of Gauge- are loads with dimensions larger than the standard 20' or 40' container.

Pre-stacking: Store the export container to carry out the customs clearance process necessary for loading the cargo.

FCL: Full Container Load, is when the importer or exporter will fully utilize the container.

LCL: Less Container Load (less than a container load), it is when the exporter or importer does not have enough cargo to fill a container, occurring a consolidation process made by cargo agents / NVOCC to better use the container.

Break Bulk: are general and/or fractional cargoes not packaged in containers.

NVOCC: Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier, is a maritime carrier that does not own or operate ships. It provides logistic solutions for importers and exporters for cargo transportation.
