AIESEC Innsbruck

In 1979 a group of motivated students founded AIESEC in Innsbruck,

and engaged in delivering international, cultural experience through

Internships. In the following years the membership base increased

rapidly and AIESEC in Innsbruck soared up to one of the top performing

Entities in terms of exchanges in Austria. It was in 1987, when Innsbruck

proudly hosted the International Congress for with more than 600

international delegates the first time. After this peak, the membership

base, unfortunately decreased, and the Entity’s focus switched from

delivering exchange experiences to organizing and hosting of

leadership seminars and career events for motivated students. From the

2000ers on AIESEC in Innsbruck suffered from significant membership

fluctuation, but managed to keep the AIESEC spirit alive. Currently

AIESEC in Innsbruck has 15 motivated members who try to bring

Innsbruck back to its bright times.

The Teams – Incoming Exchange

The Incoming Exchange has one team working on an international project

– Colors of the World (which it develops in schools and student from

abroad come to Austria to teach children foreign languages), and a

second team in charge with Sales – they get in contact with companies via

phone or networking events. Through meetings they show them the

opportunities and advantages they have when cooperating with AIESEC

and in the best case they decide to hire AIESEC trainees. The main

advantage for our partners is that we can find key employees for them

who bring their knowledge from university, their own cultural background

and even practical experience into the company. During the Traineeship

the Interns can sharpen their skills and develop themselves in a new

environment.

frame for the plans and strategies of the organization. Finance Team has to be in very close,

complete and prosperous cooperation with every team, to be able to enable to execute the

organizational strategies and plans as well as to support improvement and sustainable

progress. After being in finance team, you will also have the knowledge about auditing.

PR and Marketing team is split into internal and external communication. The main focus is

increasing the popularity of AIESEC among students, companies as well as in our society.

Thus, building up cooperation with different media-partners as well as a proper branding

and communication of AIESEC are essential. To achieve this, the team is responsible for

designing posters, flyers and Annual Report as well as working on our homepage. The goal

is not only to be present outside of AIESEC, but also to inform our members about
