Message from the Founder's Desk
Dear Students/Parents,
Every Moment in life is a fresh beginning that brings
with it the boundless joy of new possibilities and the
pleasure is compounded when you know thatyou
are about to realise a lofty goal.
For last so many years, I have been constantly in
touch with students, guiding them and looking into
their difficulties to succeed in competitive
examinations like JEE (Main & Advance), NEET, AIIMS & U.P.M.T. I felt a need for a
good coaching center to fulfil the requirements of students. Students need highly
experienced, qualified faculty in all subjects who can guide them well, clear their
doubts, provide them right type of printed notes, make them do the much needed
exercises. More importantly they should also provide proper direction. Students &
parents have kept confidence in me in the past. So I am hopeful to get the same in
my present venture. I have formed an excellent team of faculties who will give
personal attention in all manners possible. I am fully conscious of the onerous
responsibility I have been entrusted with.
When you join Kota Classes you become part of a powerful force which propels you
towards your goal and if you get a position among the rankers with my excellent
guidance then I will think that our efforts have paid their worth.
Wishing you the very best

Message from the Academic Head
Dear Students/Parents,
You have enrolled yourself with ‘Kota Classes’for the
Preparation of IIT-JEE (Main & Advanced) / NEET / AIIMS
& NTSE/KVPYEntrance Examinations. We join you in
your noble choice & promise to help you in your endeavour
for the achievement of your goal. Remember in any
scheme of fruitful attempt for the competitive
examinations, the dynamic organization of various inputs
from faculty to facts, from material to methodology, from motivation to maverick
adventurism, from subtle hammering to satiation cannot be ignored.
Today, we recognize that complex problem solving skills are not automatically
acquired. They must be taught. And since modern competitive education stresses
the generalized carry-over of processes rather facts in learning, attention is
increasingly being focused upon the development of good study (learning)
procedure by the students.
We at the ‘Kota Classes’are aware of the potential value of testing as a means of
guiding the student into correct study habits. The in built highly proficient system of
examinations developed by ‘Kota Classes’ has proved to be very potent.
In the end, I assure you that ‘Kota Classes’will continue to identify the efficacious &
potential strength in you & help as best the flowering of dormant genius in you.
“It’s not life that matters it is the courage that you bring to it.”

KOTA CLASSES offer direct admission option in all of its courses. The direct admission is provided on the basis of percentage of marks secured by the student in Board Examination. Each course has a predefined specific percentage admission criterion. Broadly, for any course a student should fulfill percentage requirement for either Science & Math aggregate in class X Board/ SSC examinations or PCB aggregate in class XII Board/ HSC examinations For example, the Two Year Integrated Program for Medical Entrance or Engineering Entrance requires a minimum of 75% marks in Science & Math (Aggregate) in X Board/ SSC. So a student, who scores more that this percentage requirement, will be given direct admission into our course. However, if a student has not scored above 75% marks in Science & Math in X Boards/SSC, then he/she will have to give our ‘Admission Cum Scholarship Test. Those students who qualify this test are then given admission to the applied course. Admission-Cum Scholarship Test KOTA CLASSES offer admission to those students also, who could not perform well in their board exams and thus want another chance to show case their potential for engineering or medicine as career. For such students we have a provision of an admission test, where we test the basic aptitude of the student. The admission test also gives an opportunity to the student to perform higher and win some scholarship also. A student, who has qualified our direct admission criteria, can also sit for the ‘Kota Scholarship-Cum-Admission test (KSAT)'.

TWO GOAL OPTIONS
JEE (Main)
?As lakhs of aspirants apply for JEE Main exam, hence, the pressure to perform good and score highest marks is huge on
the candidates. It is the most sought after among all engineering admission exams. The JEE (Joint Entrance
Examination) is a two level exam (Main and Advanced). Aspirants can avail admission in UG designing/engineering
programs offered by premium engineering colleges including NITs, IIITs and other engineering institute through JEE Main
Exam while To get admission in IITs, you need to give JEE Advanced exam.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern for th2017:First ,there shall be no weightage for the 12 class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination, and
Second For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based thon the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12 class examination, or be in the
top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in JEE (Advanced)
All the Indian Nationals (including PIO/OCI) must fulfill each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) .
Candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main).
The percentages of various categories are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these four categories, 3% horizontal reservation is available for PwD (including Dyslexic) candidates.
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD
candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1987.
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Therefore, candidates who
appeared in JEE (Advanced) 2016 for the first time are also eligible.
A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017.
However, candidates whose Class XII (or equivalent) examination results for the academic year 2014-15 were declared after
June 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017.
A candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program)
OR accepted the IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. The candidates whose admission at IITs was
cancelled are also NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017. Candidates who have been admitted to a
preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2016 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017. The candidates
who have paid seat acceptance fee but not accepted the seat (by not reporting at any reporting centre during joint seat
allocation in 2016) are eligible to appear in JEE (Adv.) 2017.
