TRIAC ST: Design meets experience

The new TRIACST from Leister is primarily used for welding and plastic fabrication. During its development, a deli-berate choice was made to do without extra technical features. Instead it is distinguished by comfort, being reliableversatile, robust and user friendly, like its predecessor the TRIACS. A prominent feature here is the two-componenthandle, which is not only attractive, but also gives the user perfect grip. The low weight of less than 1 kg/2.18 lbsensures a perfect weight balance.

With its plug &play functionality, all you need to do is plug in the AIRSTREAMSTfor a constant supply of clean, dry air– for welding constructions with the highest cleanliness requirements. Also ideal for use in quiet environments. Needto work with two hand tools in parallel?No problem thanks to the simultaneous power and air supply. The unit inclu-des a hand tool stand, fits intoeverywork bench, and is fitted with castors for easymobility. A highly practical solution!

Dual operation:The two tool connections enable paralleloperation of two tools or offer the addedflexibility of having a second hand toolready for a subsequent work step.

The quick-change artist:It is easy to integrate into the existingenvironment thanks to its cubic design,and can also be fitted with additionalcastors for easymobility. The practicalcover can be used as a tool stand. TheAIRSTREAMST can be turned around tofit perfectly into any work bench.

The easy-to-use, infinitely-adjustable guide enablesprocess-reliable piping creation with different lug widths. The foot pedal means you haveboth hands free and can use them toguide the material. This allows you to concentrate fully on the welding process.

The simple, safe and non-destructive way to test the tightness of overlap weld seams, using the LeisterVACUUMBOX/BELL. Soapy water is applied to the welding zone to be checked. After connection to the VACUUMPUMP, a vacuum is generated above the zone with the VACUUM BOX/BELL. Hot-air weldingHand tools, automatic welders, stationary welding machines

In hot gas welding, the thermal energy is controlled. Heated air is fed intothe workpiece and the required amount of pressure is exerted onto thewheels.

Combi-wedge weldingCombi-wedge welding machines

When Combi-wedge welding (combination of a heated wedge and hot air),preheating of the air and the actual welding process is carried out over awedge. The preheated air also takes partial cleaning of the workpieces.

Pendulum WeldingHand tools

Pendulum welding requires a welding rod similar to the base material. Bothsurfaces are then heated using hot air. Using an up and down, pen-dulum-like motion and consistent downward pressure, the two are joined.

Hot-wedge weldingWedge welders

The process where the wedge is heated directly by heating cartridges. Thegenerated heat is transferred directly onto the workpiece. This method alsois suitable for thicker materials.

Extrusion WeldingExtrusion Welders (FUSION& WELDPLAST)

In extrusion welding, the substrate is preheated with hot air and connectedby adding the extrudate. The welding rod is fed into the heater barrel andthe plast is processed by the extruder screw.

Draw Welding (Speed Welding)Hand tools

This welding method requires the use of a speed welding nozzle. Preheatthe surfaces to the apropriate temperature. The surfaces are plasticized byhot air and joined under consistent downward pressure.
