Using DW’s universal linkage assembly, the 9550 achieves lightning-fast response and a smooth, effortless feel. It can be placed on either side of the kit, making it a multi-position primary hi-hat or a versatile auxiliary hi-hat for secondary hat sounds and effects cymbals. All of the heavy-duty features associated with the 9000 Series line of hardware, like heavy-gauge steel tubing, integrated vise memory lock and lateral cymbal seat adjustment, are standard. Cymbal arms are designed with a toothless tilter for exact cymbal placement, TechLock® for secure positioning, and an oversized, spring-loaded ratchet handle. 9000 SERIES SNARE STANDS incorporate several exclusive features. The easy-grip snare basket knob can be easily reversed, allowing the basket to close tighter to hold smaller drums. The snare drum angle adjustment can be fi rmly locked with the large reset handle and secured with TechLock®. A quick-release basket enables fast snare changes on stage or in the studio.

The 9300 Series Snare Stands are the only stands designed with double pedal set-ups in mind. The offset basket allows optimal snare positioning while remaining balanced. The 9303 has a contoured basket to accommodate smaller 10” to 13” snare drums.

DW’S DELTA TRI-BEARING SYSTEM employs ball bearings in three critical areas: the hinge, spring rocker and both sides of the post casting. DW’s patented Delta ball-bearing hinge is a state-of-the-art lightweight aluminum design that incorporates ball bearings at both sides. The adjustable spring rocker and post casting also utilize ball bearings for smoother movement at the hex shaft, completing the Tri-Bearing System.

THE 5000 SERIES 2-LEG AND 3-LEG HI-HATS FEATURE several DW innovations. The lateral cymbal seat adjustment utilizes a specially-made nylon insert wing nut for easily adjusting the angle of the bottom cymbal, even while playing. UPPER RODS in two lengths come standard with all 5000 models.

Two 5000 Series Specialty Hi-Hats are offered. The 5520 includes an integrated accessory pedal and attachment that can be used for playing cowbell, jamblocks or other percussion accessories. The uni-body construction guarantees solid performance and consistent set-up.

The 5520-2 is a complete double pedal/hi-hat package. This design allows the auxiliary side of the double pedal to be on the outside of the hi-hat. The pedal can easily be converted into a 5520 when using a single pedal.

DW’s 5000 Series Hi-Hats are available with a heavy-duty 1.25” base or lighter-weight 1” base in both 2- and 3-leg models.

The 5500L and 5500TL lighter weight stands are a great match for the 5000 and 9000 Series lightweight stands while incorporating many of the same heavy-duty features.

The 5500TD 2-leg and the 5500D 3-leg heavy-duty hi-hat stands feature a Delta ball-bearing hinge and the unique bearing link connector, which connects the footboard chain to the pull rod for reduced friction and increased sensitivity.

THE 5300 SNARE STAND FEATURES an integrated tube joint memory lock, a fi ne tooth snare basket adjustment and a 1.125” tripod base with double-braced legs.

FOUR 5000 SERIES THRONES are available. The 5100 standard height and 5101 low-base designs have a 13” round top, while the 5120 has a larger tractor seat. The thrones also feature a solid-ear casting with oversized locking nut and full-size 1.125” double-braced base. The 5100, 5101 and 5120 models feature a swivel height adjustment.

THE 6700 FLUSH-BASE STRAIGHT/BOOM CYMBAL STAND and 6710 fl ush-base straight cymbal stand feature a retro-style fl ush-base design with aluminum legs and tube joint memory locks. 6000 Series cymbal stands include an infi nite adjustable toothless tilter with TechLock® and oversized, spring-loaded ratchet handle.

THE 6300 SNARE STAND includes a recess locking wing screw to ensure stability for holding even the heaviest snare drums. It also has a fi ne-tooth basket adjustment with tube joint memory lock. (U.S. Patent No. 423036)

THE 6500 HI-HAT STAND incorporates a retro-style fl ush-base design that features lightweight aluminum legs and rubber feet with integrated spikes. Also featured is an offset base allowing direct pull action.

THE 6100 CANISTER THRONE is a height-adjustable trap case and seat all in one. It’s made of a durable, lightweight material and includes a telescoping handle with built-in wheels for transport. (U.S. Patent No. 6550860B2)

Specially molded seat top identical to the 9000 Series thrones.

Inside is a tray to hold pedals and accessories. It also serves as a hard seat cover for protecting the vinyl seat during transport.

Other features include a telescopic handle and 3” wheels. Once packed, the seat becomes a case perfect for around-town gigs.

The SLOTTED STROKE ADJUSTMENT allows infi nite beater angle adjustment and the ball-bearing rocker reduces friction.

THE 9200 DOUBLE CONGA STAND is anchored with an oversized mega-tripod base and features DW’s new Push-Lock™ mounting system and independent, padded conga braces. Mounting bracket sold separately.

PUSH-LOCK™ MOUNTING SYSTEM is incorporated on both the 9200 Double Conga Stand and 9600 Timbale Stand. A reverse-screw mechanism securely holds drums and eliminates the need for wing nuts or washers. (patent pending)
