Our goal is to keep the legacy of the Olympics with us, and use those special moments to inspire our customers and also the next generation.

Location

The location of the gym will be at 16 Hewett St, London, Greater London EC2A 3NN this is because it is very close to four universities and this will allow us to have a target market of university students as they are usually frequent users at the gym

Target Market

My target market for my gym is students of universities this is because they are four local universities and we will also offer discounts this is because we students are not known to have a lot of money to live on because most of their money pays for living cost.

This is my membership card that will have access to fitness club facilities. They are two different member ships which is red, which enables access to gym. Whilst the platinum card allows personal training sessions.

My banner cost £270 and this is 9Meters by 1.5meters. This is also the logo for the gym

Flyers

We will have 8 flyers, which will be released in different times to promote our gym. We will order 20,000 copies of the poster, which will then be posted to local residents and universities. The cost of creating the 20000 flyers and delivering them to me is £520.99. http://www.instantprint.co.uk/application/baskett . This will Then be used for the 8 different flyers. Which should come upto £ 4,167.92 which come out of my £20,000 budget.

Local Press

Wrap around £5KAll prices are for 1 week

We will have an advertisement of our gym in the local newspaper, which will be a wrap around and this will be used for the advertisement for the opening date. This will be in the local newspaper for two weeks, which will roughly cost 10k for 2 weeks

BillboardI will also have a Billboard to promote the gyms opening this will be located near the gyms premises, which can be seen by local residents in the area and also people who are commuting around London. Launch Party

When? The launch party will be hosted at the gym, this will take place on the 4th January, where we will have a sports day event for children where the winner will receive a I pad and also a gold medal, which will then be followed up by the runners up receiving a free swim voucher. This will all be taken out of the companies advertising budget. food and drinks will be available with a fee, which will go to charity. The launch party will be advertised in the local newspaper, so we can get the local community involved with the gym

Direct Mail

Flyers will be posted to the local community the flyer is shown below. This will make the local community aware of the gym, the flyer we will send out is for the open day, where we will provide a free 1 week trial to see how consumers react to the gym facilities. This will be posted by mail to university and local residents.

Social NetworkingSocial networking sites will be used and we will advertise this so people start following us on Instagram and twitter, which will allow us to increase our brand image, which is one of our marketing objective. This will also allow us to keep a constant communication with our customers

Competition

We will have a competition, which will be held on the open day. The competition will consist of a variety of Olympic sports and the winner will receive a free month membership for the gym. Their where al be one for the children where the winner will receive a free ipad.

Free Gym Bag for new members

I will be giving free gym bags to new members who sign up for the gym, this will only be for a limited period. With the gym bag we will also give water bottles and free towels within the gym bag. This will cost £500 for 100 bags.
