Power of Information in Projecting India Globally The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) MP had organised a

National Media Conclave “Power of Information in Projecting India

Globally” on 12th October 2021 at the Minto Hall, Bhopal. The

Conclave focused on preparing a constructive image of India by

sharing afrmative information through mass media around the world.

The SAGE University Bhopal was the principal sponsor of this event.

Honourable Minister of Investment Policy (MP Govt), Mr. Rajvardhan

Singh Dattigaon, was the invited Chief Guest. He was facilitated by

Executive Director SAGE Group Ar. Shivani Agarwal, she briefed the

gathering about the initiatives undertaken by the group to disseminate

information amongst the youths of the country through its world class

universities of Bhopal and Indore.

Various sessions of the conclave were chaired by many eminent

personalities of Mass Media. It was attended by many media persons

and industrialists along with the representatives of eight universities of

Bhopal. Faculties and students of the School of Journalism and Mass

Communication SAGE University Bhopal also attended it. During the

event, the speakers answered various questions and queries of the

participants. Mr Piyush Pandey (Chief Creative Ofcer, Ogilvy

Worldwide and Exec. Chairman, Ogilvy India), Mr Mohit Hira (Co-

founder of myriad Business and Brand partner), Ms Swati Khandelwal

(Executive Editor, ZEE Business), Mr. Abhigyan Prakesh (Senior

Executive Editor ABP News), Mr Jaideep Karnik (Content Head and

Editor of Amar Ujala Didital), Mr Anant Raghuwanshi (Editor, MELT)

The series contains ten Life Changing Mantras by a renowned

Vijay Shankar Mehta. It streamed on the University’s YouTube

Channel from 15th to 25th October 2021. Through his ten

commandants, he guided the audience towards spiritual success

and helped to rejuvenate the possibilities within oneself. In

addition, students from the School of Journalism & Mass

Communication did the ground activity by interviewing ordinary

people regarding hurdles they have in their lives and how they

Changing India Storywith Abhigyan PrakashThe SAGE University Bhopal, known for its academic and philanthropic

ventures, and taking lead in innovation keeps on inviting the eminent

personalities of the country to motivate its students and faculties.

Continuing this trend, on 13th October 2021, Mr. Abhigyan Prakash

Senior Executive Editor of ABP News and Columnist with reputed Hindi

newspaper Dainik Jagran was invited at SUB campus. He is also a

charismatic anchor and astute political analyst and shared his ideas with

students and faculties about the Changing India Story. Vice Chancellor

Dr V. K. Jain welcomed the celebrity guest by presenting a beautiful

sapling as a token of pleasure.

The program started with lighting of the lamp before the goddess of

knowledge and wisdom, Maa Saraswati. Honorable Executive Director

of SAGE group, Ar. Ms Shivani Agarwal and Honorable VC

Dr. V.K. Jain graced the occasion with their presence. Mr. Sudhir

Srivastava – Coordinator Student Affairs, Deans, Heads of the Schools,

Heads of Departments, faculty members and students were also present.

In her welcome address, Executive Director SAGE group Ms.Shivani Agarwal appreciated Mr. Abhigyan Prakash for his work in the

eld of Journalism and described his university visit as a very important opportunity for the students of journalism and Mass

Communication .She also talked about the importance of pen and paper for a student and a journalist as well.

In his hour long interactive session, Mr.Abhigyan Prakash shared his experiences starting from a reporter to a senior journalist. He also

underlined the value of determination and clarity to the bright future of a student. He talked about the various narratives which TV

News and Electronic media are propagating present times and cautioned students about the fake news. He instructed students to bring

a change in themselves and that way they can think of transforming the society the way they wish to.

It has to be noted that famous News Anchor and Editor ABP News Mr.Abhigyan Prakash was invited to the city of lakes Bhopal as a

guest speaker at CII Madhya Pradesh Conclave on 12th October 2021 organized at Minto Hall.

the objectives, improvement and accountability of all of us in an organization.

Programme started with the oral welcome of Honorable CMD Er. Sanjeev Agrawal sir, Honorable Ed. Ms. Shivani Agrawal, Honorable

IFDPOutcome Based Education By Dr. Sanjeev Verma*

On 23, Oct-21 Internal Faculty Development Program (IFDP)

was initiated by Dr. V.K. JAIN sir. He focused on attendance &

registration status of students, discussed different aspects of

academics and importance of discipline in the life of an

academician. In today's IFDP program a session was given by

Dr Sanjeev Verma Sir on "Outcome Based Education". He

focused on outcome based education, it's components &

mapping of CO’s-PO’s & PO’s-PEO’s with examples. Informed

us the benets of Outcome Based Learning such as knowing

how to do things, ability to make decisions, understanding what

you are doing and why, learn and adapt through self-reection;

apply knowledge appropriately and responsibly. He also

focused that OBE empowers students to take more

responsibility for their own learning and supports the move to

greater student engagement with the curriculum and to

student-centred approaches.

On 25, Eept-21 In Internal Faculty Development Program

(IFDP), Prof. Rohit Sharma given information on

Biodiversity & Fungi and Their Application. He informed us

the importance of the diversity of fungi in our biodiversity,

purpose of fungi in the soil community, uses of Fungi like

Fungi are an important source of food, Yeast, a unicellular

fungus, is important in bakeries as it is used in the making of

bread. Yeast also produces vitamin B. Fungi,like bacteria, are

also good decomposers and Penicillin an important antibiotic

is obtained from a fungus called Pencillium notatum. He also

updated us in the Recent Achievements in Studies of Soil-

Borne Fungi.

An Awareness Program on Climate Change

An Awareness Program on Climate Resilient Agriculture for Farmers

under NABARD

Agriculture plays a critical role in the entire life of a given economy. To

keep a view of these things, and educate to Farmers, SAGE School of

Agriculture, SAGE University Bhopal, organized two activities in

Amjhara Village of Phanda Block, Bhopal. Farmers of Phanda Block are

educated regarding vegetable cultivation and Sustainable Management

of Agriculture in the Climate Change Era through Awareness of Science

and Technology funded by NABARD, Madhya Pradesh.Total 18 Farmers

from Amjhra, Basia and Jamunia Villages of Bhopal were beneted from

this event. Dr. Pankaj Srivastava and Dr. Govind Gupta coordinated this

event.

A Workshop for FarmersA Workshop for Farmers was organized by the School of

Agriculture, The workshop was on advanced technology of

vegetable production in Amjhra Block Bhopal. Dr. Pankaj

Srivastava HoS Agriculture explained the importance of

vegetables in farming system for improving farmers’ income. He

also answered the queries of the farmers. Dr. Govind Gupta

explained the advanced technology method used for vegetable

production.

Plant Identication Practical

for Students by Dr. Jaya SharmaThe Department of Agriculture (Agriculture NSS Unit) has started the

nomenclature process of the campus plants which will expand the

knowledge and awareness of the students about the plants in the

society. This program was organized under the Experience Based

Learning Program.

Quiz Competition by

Dr. Jaya Sharma A Quiz Competition was organized for the students of the School of

Agriculture on 29th September 2021. The theme of the Competition

was “Indian Agriculture and Modern Agriculture. This was organized

under the Experience Based Learning Programs.

Sage Talks! #ConnectOnlineWithSage

A Sage Talk on “Sanskrit Drama” was organized on 25th

September 2021 by Mr. Rahul Tiwari Assistant Professor

School of Performing Arts. The invited guest speaker for the

talk was Mr. Manoj Mishra Assistant Drama Director,

Natyashastra Anusandhan Kendra Central Sanskrit

University Bhopal. He apprised the participants about the

most inuential and an encyclopedic work of Sanskrit drama,

Natyashstra, and shared his insights on the concept of Rasas

and Bhavas. These metaphysical aesthetic aspects have an

integral role to play in the theatre of Indian tradition.

Entrepreneurial Opportunities” on 16th October 2021. The

speaker for this signicant dialogue was Dr. Aradhana

SDPS Group of Institutions, Indore. She discussed various

Professor SoAHSS. The invited resource person for this event

was Ms. Akanksha Nair, Clinical Psychologist,

eMbrace – Making Mental Health Accessible, Delhi. She

connected with the audience by making them aware about

the importance of mental health and keeping it healthy. She

emphasized on the fact that mental health is the usually

ignored in our social scenario but it must be taken proper care

of.

Privacy rules. Thus, we are always on the risk of

compromising our vital data with fraudulent people. Keeping

in view, the above fact Dr. Anju Singh, Associate Professor

–School of Advance Computing organized a Sage Talk on

Data Privacy on 16th October 2021. Resource person for this

talk was Mr. Saurab Verma Lead Consulting Manager, Cyber

Security and Risk Services, Wipro Ltd. During the session, he

talked about the vitality of data protection and the ways to

tackle it.

organized a Sage Talk on the topic “Overthinking and How to

Overcome it” on 29th September 2021. Dr. Dyutima Sharma -

Clinical Psychologist and Academic Counselor in National

Law Institute University, Bhopal was the resource person of

this Sage Talk. Human brains are continuously engaged in

thought processes but when we over think certain things it

becomes mentally hazardous and can result in many

psychological diseases. The expert provided various tips to

control over thinking during her session.

advertisement took place in Bhopal on 11th October 2021. The Project was provided by Teachmint Management

II. Got the opportunity to perform as the lead actor in the advertisement shoot for Eicher Tractor. Mandideep,

Bhopal Madhya Pradesh was the shoot location for this advertisement of Eicher Tractor. The advertisement is

already being telecast on Chhatisgarh News Channels from 9th October 2021. The Advertisement is also being

aired on ABP News across the country.

III. Did his second shoot as lead character for Eicher Tractors for their digital campaign. The advertisement is

IV. Acted in the web series titled "WB" as character artist. He also shared the screen space with renowned actors

Ashish Verma (FTII) and Vijay Kumar (NSD). The shooting for this web series took place in Sehore on 29th

September 2021.

I. Represented SAGE School of Journalism and Mass Communication in a National Level Event on 18th of

October 2021 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, where people heading various media

Institutes at different Universities from all across India were present to grace the event.

People of highest repute in media education like Director IIMC Delhi, VC - Kusha Bhau Thakre University

Raipur, VC Makhan Lal Chaturvedi University and many more eminent personalities were present for a

discussion on the inclusion of rich cultural heritage of India in the curriculum of various streams, especially

Journalism and Mass Communication. The meeting was chaired by Hon. Sir Sangh Sanchalak Mohan

Bhagwat Ji.

Was invited as a keynote speaker for the First International Conference on Agriculture, Science, Engineering

and Management (ICASEM 2021) on 23rd and 24th of October 2021. This international conference was

organized by Sanskriti University Mathura and RSP Research Hub. There he delivered his keynote speech on

the topic: “Agricultural Waste: A Source of Green Energy.”

I. Was instrumental in conducting “Resume Writing Workshop” for the MBA students of the University on 9th

October 2021. The workshop provided detailed explanation, as well as step by step processes for creating an

effective resume and thus transforming a simple resume into a powerful tool.

II. Was invited as JURY member at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal for the internship

jury of FMS Department on 11th and 12th October 2021.
