The owners and/or occupiers of all holdings whetherowned, rented or leased within the District of theDardanup Road Board shall destroy all rabbits ole suchholdings and upon roads bounding or intersecting thesame from the 15th day of December, 1947, to the 14thday of December, 1948.

The means which shall be adopted for the work shallbe the laying of poisoned baits not more than threefeet apart iii furrows as follows:

First drive from 15th December, 1947, to the 15thJanuary, 1948.

Second drive from 15th February, 1948, to the 28thFebruary, 1948.

Third drive from 15th March, 1948, to the 31stMarch, 1948.

Also funiigation to be carried out from May, 1948,to September, 1948, both inclusive. Or by the diggingout of burrows. All to be done to the satisfaction ofthe Board or the Board's Inspector.

BALINGUP DISTRICT VERMIN BOARD.SETTLERS are hereby notified under section 98 (2) ofthe Vermin Act, 1918-1942, to carry out the work ofdestroying rabbits on the whole of their property andon roads bounding and intersecting same, betweenJanuary 1st and 21st, 1948.

The method to be adopted is the laying of plios-phorus poison baits in furrows. Thee quantity to belaid is at least two tills per hundred acres.

A second poisoning with phosphorus or arsenic orstrychnine is to be carried out between March 7th and28th, 1948.

A third poisoning with applies and strychnine orarsenic is to be carried out between May 15th andJune 15th, 1948.

Schedule.The abovementioned regulations are amended as follows:-1. Paragraph (b) of Regulation 33 is deleted and a new paragraph is inserted

in lieu thereof as follows:(b) With the exception of Head Teachers of Class VII and Class VI schools

holding the A3 certificate, Head Teachers shall be eligible only for the promotionlist pertaining to the class of school next above that in which they are placed.

The Head Teacher of a Class VII or a Class VI school shall b placed on theClass V promotion list upon being awarded the A3 certificate. Where Head Teachersof Class VII and Class VI schools and Assistants have been awarded the A3 certifi-cate and are qualified to be placed on the Class V promotion list at the same time,then such Head Teachers and Assistants shall be so placed on the said promotionlist as to preserve their relative seniorities.
