Objectives of the examCandidates knowledge of competencies independent work Candidates ability to:• Knowledge • Retrieving learned information: facts, terminology, concepts, principles etc• Recall data or information.

• Comprehension• Associating new information to prior knowledge in a meaningful way• Understand the meaning, translation, interpolation, and interpretation of instructions and problems. State a problem in one's own words.

• Application• Using stored information in appropriate context• Use a concept in a new situation or unprompted use of an abstraction. Applies what was learned in the classroom into novel situations in the work place.

• Analysis• Breaking down information into its components• Separates material or concepts into component parts so that its organizational structure may be understood. Distinguishes between facts and inferences

• Synthesis• Integrating element of information into new or a larger whole• Builds a structure or pattern from diverse elements. Put parts together to form a whole, with emphasis on creating a new meaning or structure.

• Evaluate• Assessing information against criteria• Make judgments about the value of ideas or materials.

Describe the research frameworks and show how they are related to literature review in logistics research. evaluate a case study, capture the components of a research proposal, and determine an appropriate Descriptive title for the research report, map out problem statement of the study, and Gantt chart for Research Project for the action research with respect to a research proposalCompetence in discussing issues in detailAppropriate lay outs and structureGood grammar and spelling

Exam Formats Continuous assessment of 40 marks which is:◦ Sit-in national mid-semester quiz (30 marks) ◦ Problem-based group work, etc (10 marks)

End-of-semester examination of 60 marks for 4 questions Maximum time allowed: Three (3) hours◦ Section A – Compulsory Case study (1 question). 25 Marks maximum◦ Section B – Data Presentation & Analysis, Citation & Reference formats (2 questions, answer any 1 question) 15 Marks maximum

◦ Section C – General (6 questions, answer any 2 questions) short notes. 20 Marks maximum

NB: Total score: below 50% is a trail, and course must be retaken.
