OBJECTIVES

The objectiveo of the proposed worl~shop are as follows

1 Provideupgrade in-cQuntry expertise in forcasting contraceptive needs oothat Squantities procuired will be as close as possible to needed amounts of contraceptives

2 Improve the inenlpipeline for effective distribution of contraceptives to consumers

3 Introduce basic logiotiks management to the countries so that effective use of loIStics consultants ran be mades

4 Provid4e training materials and methodology of logistics muanagement so that workshop participantumanagers can be equipped to train their staff Ini their countries

5 Produce a teaching packet which could be replicated in-country and for other

regions
