FROM PRESIDENT’S DESK
Friends with the passage of time in Rotary World, I came across many professionals from different vocations. At club, as well as District level, I got an opportunity to listen to many renowned speakers. Knowingly or unknowingly whatever I have learnt in the last 10 years of my Rotary tenure would like to share with you……………….
Cages are not made of iron, they are made of thoughts Faith does not make things easy, it makes them possible Every positive thought is a silent prayer, which will change your life Forget who hurt you yesterday, but do not forget those who love you everyday Forget the past that makes you cry, focus on present that makes you smile Forget the pain, but never the lessons you gain
Looking forward to the best of co-operation from you all. Wishing all of you a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous Diwali. Enjoy Rotary! Serve to change Lives!

Heartiest Congratulations Rtn. Dr. Hemangee for being a chief guest at a very special inauguration.
Six young psychiatrists started a hospital in Belapur – called Prayaas. This is special because they are equipped and permitted to admit and treat mental health including Dementia. It is heartening that mental health is getting the attention that it needs especially from young doctors. For Rtn. Dr. Hemangee it was a super proud occasion because two of the six doctors were her students at Somaiya hospital. We wish the young doctors much success and congratulate Rtn. Dr. Hemangee on training them well!
Rtn. Dr. Hemangee getting felicitated by her students
Rtn Dr Hemangee Dhavale has been hard at work. She organized a medical camp for the psychiatry department of Somaiya hospital where she is a consultant. Sun pharmaceuticals was roped in as a sponsor. They covered the medication. 28 senior citizens and about 10 existing patients benefitted from the testing for memory and depression. Now that is a great way to shine the light on an often misunderstood ailment. Rtn. Dr. Hemangee at the Camp
