New members: Create an account

Returning members: Login or reset your password (most of you will need to do a password reset using

the e-mail we had on file in the 2020-21 season).

Create your account as the PARENT or GUARDIAN of a minor skater

On the next page as a age of majority skater, you register yourself. As a parent or guardian, you register

your skater(s). If you are both an adult skater and parent of a minor skater, register yourself as an adult

first, then you can register you minor skaters under your account.

Follow steps to register one or more skaters under your account. You will be asked to accept several

waivers: COVID, Concussion, MSSC Volunteer Commitment for each registration.

Once complete you will receive a few confirmation emails and eventually an invoice from PayPal.

Here is a sample of the rest of the steps to complete for a minor skater:

If the skater is already in the system (a returning skater, skater from another club) you will be presented

with a choice to associate the existing skater with your account

Otherwise complete the address info

Select your program.

Please NOTE:

• The programs you are shown will be based on age.

• You must select each session separately. If you want to select Mondays AND Wednesdays, you

must select 2 programs.

• If your skaters age allows you to select more then one group: Fundamental, Learn-To-Train,

Train-to-Trian, you can only select times within the same group. i.e. you cannot select

Fundamental Mondays and Learn-to-Train Wednesdays. If you are unsure which group to select

• Returning skaters should have received an email with their grouping. Any questions, concerns

or exception requests should be sent to: registration@miltonspeedskating.com

You will get a message:

Select the Add Membership. This brings you to an OSSA page asking you to enter your address again.

You can use the --select an address -- option to auto-fill the form with the address you previously

entered

Then select the payment method option

Complete the demographic data. Be sure to select the consent to receive communications from my club

to get our newsletter and other club communications

Validate your information and select

Once again select the payment method

Complete the medical info questionnaire to be share only with coaches on a need basis

Select the payment option and click OK

Select your skate rental option (most will select Complete rental) and add to cart and click next. If you

have your own skates, you can simply next

You can then complete the registration process by selecting “Complete and proceed to cart” OR you can

add a second skater to your account and repeat the process.

You will then move onto the waivers. First the Ontario Speed Skating Waiver

Complete the required fields

Read and acknowledge each section of the OSSA waivers

• THE ONTARIO SPEED SKATING ASSOCIATION INFORMED CONSENT AND

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

• ASSUMPTION of RISK regarding COVID-19 (acknowledging you read the club

policy among other things)

• Concussion Code of Conduct (acknowledging you read the concussion awareness

material provided among other things).

Next the Speed Skating Canada Waiver

Select your language and read and acknowledge each section of the SSC waivers

• WAIVER OF LIABILITY

• DATA USE CONSENT AND RELEASE

And finally the Milton Speed Skating Club volunteer agreement form

Then you submit your registration. You will then receive several acknowledgements from

OSSA/SSC/IceReg. After which you will be invoiced separately via PayPal - the PayPal invoice is what

you pay to the club.
