IMRET 15 sets out to become once more the “place to be” where new develop-ments regarding all facets of micro process engineering and flow chemistry will be jointly discussed for mutual benefit.

Since the start of this leading event for chemists, chemical engineers and micro systems engineers, the conference has demonstrated a variety of new applica-tions in chemical engineering, chemistry, related disciplines like energy supply, and even more different fields such as analytics, life science and medicine. Yet, as each of the involved disciplines has seen amazing progress, the mission of provi-ding an effective platform for exchange is even more important.

EXHIBITION PLAN

The Gartenhalle, a newly renovated part of the Convention Centre Karlsruhe offers 1.690 sqm exhibition space during the IMRET 2018. The ceiling is up to 10 m high which makes the hall very bright. All coffee breaks and lunch breaks plus a Poster Party on 22 October will take place in exhibition area.

CONFERENCE SITE

The conference will be held at the Convention Centre Karlsruhe (Gartenhalle). It is situated very near to the city centre and next to the Stadtgarten which is a recrea-tional, botanical area near the main railway station. Recently, the Gartenhalle has been renovated. It is equipped with the latest conference technology and offers a net space of 1.690 sqm for exhibition and poster presentations.

A city with many facesFrom the royal seat of Baden to the centre of the technology region

Karlsruhe has many faces and looks back on a quiet young history stretching back almost 300 years. The quality of life is high, the region is booming. The city has around 300,000 inhabitants and is the center of the technology region in south-west Germany. About 20% of the region’s jobs are in research and development.

The city has very good transportation access via road, rail and air. The nearest airports are Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Stuttgart and Frankfurt/Main.
