1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 General information:

Construction contractor: Hyundai E&C Co., Ltd and Ghella S.P.A Joint Venture.

1.2 The project information:

Hanoi Pilot Light Metro Line, line 3, section Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station is a major

project for Hanoi City. According to the Hanoi Transportation Master Plan till 2022, total length

of HPLML (Line 3) shall reach 21,5km from Nhon to Hoang Mai. The first phase of this line,

and part of this Contract is from Nhon to Hanoi Railway Station, with about 8.5 km elevated

section and 4.0 km underground section. This line includes 12 stations (with 8 elevated and 4

underground stations). The Depot is located at Nhon with area of 150,550 m2.

Comply to environmental management plan, HGU has coordinated with EATC to con-

duct environmental monitoring and analysis at a frequency of 3 months.

During pre-construction period, environmental monitoring activities are subject to assess

quality of the environment in the project area before implementation of construction activities.

Simultaneously, these activities shall collect data which is the basis for assessing, comparing the

effects of road construction activities to environment quality. On the other hand, it is also essen-

tial requirements for environmental protection activities that HGU must be complied.

On 01,02th April 2021, HGU cooperated with EATC to carry out environmental moni-

toring and sampling for construction stage 14 of CP03 package.

1.3 Environment monitoring activities:

2.1. Monitoring location

2.1.1. Noise, vibration and air monitoring

Project Hanoi Pilot Light Metro Line section Nhon – Ha Noi railway station, environ-

mental monitoring activities for air, noise, and vibration has been followed by Circular

24/2017/TT-BTNMT dated September 01, 2017 on environmental monitoring techniques. Base

on approved CP03 – Environment monitoring Schedule, and CP03 construction activities on site

at Ramp, Station 9, Station 10, air, noise, vibration have been carried out at the same location as

the follow:

2.3.3. Air quality monitoring The chosen parameter of air quality monitoring is gas as CO, NO2 and SO2 and used

equipment is sucking out air machine SKC- USA. This equipment is adjusted before measuring.

QCVN 05-2013/BTNMT is used to control Air environment quality.

2.3.4. Surface water quality

The parameter as DO was measure at sample locations by device U52 - Horiba –

Japan. The other parameters as Cr, TSS, Fe, Mn, Cu, Pb, Zn, Hg, Ni, Cd, As, Se taken

sampling, maintained and analysed at laboratory. The sensors were calibrated before

measuring.

Regulation QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT, B2 type is used to control surface water in the project area. 2.4. Analysis method

Excepting noise, vibration and some parameters of surface the below parameters

were taken and analysed as the follows:
