EXAMINATION

Applicants for admission into the Higher SchoolCertificate Course of any of the Federal Collegesincluding King’s and Queen’s, Lagos, will takethe usual entrance examination on Monday, 10thNovember, 1975 for admission in September 1976.

ACCEPTANCE OF CANDIDATES:

1. Theexarnination is open to candidates at theirpresent in attendance at Secondary GrammarSchools in the Federation who are sitting forSchool Certificate in May/June 1976 and whosePrincipals certify :

(a) that their school recordsindicate that theyarelikely to gain a Grade I or Grade'Il Certificate;

(4) that they possess all the personal and intel-lectual qualities needed to ensure success in aSixth Form Course;

(c} that they will undertake to complete thecourse.

2. Principals are requested to enter ONLY ‘candi-dates in respect of whom they can conscientiouslycertify as in (a), (6) and (c) above.

3. Twenty per cent of the boysin class five couldbe entered. The number of girls to be enteredremains unrestricted. At least.J70% of the totalnumber of candidates entered must be for. thesciences.

4. Each Entry costs 41,20.

5. Entry closes on 30th October, 1975.
