1. Senior MedicalFellows (SeniorRegistrar)Anaesthetics, Radiology, Paediatrics; Com-

munity Care(PublicHealth). .

2. Anaesthetics, Radiology, Histopathology,Chemical Pathology, Medical Microbiology andImmunology, Haematology and Human Biology(i.e. AnatomyandPhysiology).

Qualifications : :

(i). Senior Medical Fellows (Senior Registrar).—Candidate must possess 2 basic medical qualificationregistrable or registered in Nigeria. He must alsopossess a recognised registrable post-graduate dip-loma indiscipline to which he is applying. Previousappointment as Registrar in a teaching unit wouldbe an advantage.

Successful candidates will receive further post-graduate training in research, educational metho-

_ dology, and clinical or laboratory practice in theappropriate units. Theyteaching health professional students, junior medicaltraining fellows and other members of the healthtearm.

(#) Junior Medical Fellows——Candidate mustpossess a basic medical degree registrable andregisteredin Nigeria, andmusthave completed2 pre-registration job in adequately supervisedinstitutionincluding at least four months in the discipline towhich he is- applying. Successful candidates, ifClinical, will undergo rotational service postings andintegrated instructions and training leading to thePrimary and Part I Fellowship Examinations of theMedical Council of Nigeria in the appropriatediscipline and/or for the M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees.Candidates will also be expected to participate inteaching under Supervision. Some candidatesmay besent on sponsorship for post-graduate training,e.g.in Anaesthetics, Radiology, Pathology or Public
