Notice is hereby given in accordance with section 4of the Oil Pipelines Act 1965 that Mobil ProducingNigeria whose registered office is at 1-5 OdunlamiStreet, Lagos has applied to the Federal Ministryof Mines and Powerfor the right to enter upon, takepossession of and use for a period of twenty (20)years a strip of land on the Continental Shelf andunderneath the waters thereof for the purpose oflaying a 122 inch outside diameter welded steelpipeline from the Etim “A” Well Platform to theEtim Production Platform both of which are locatedin OML-67.
Descriprion
1. All that strip of land approximately 200 feetwide on the ocean bottom starting at the Etim “A”Well Platform whose Nigerian Co-ordinates areNi4550 meters, E618500 meters and whoseGeographic Co-ordinates are Lat. 04° 07°53” N,Long. 08° 01'52”E extending on 2 bearing ofN 16°
31’ E a distance of approximately 1.75 miles to theEtim Production Platform whose Nigerian Co-«ordinates are N 17257 meters, E 619303 meters andwhose Geographic Co-ordinates are Lat. 04° 09°22” N, Long 08° 02’ 18” E. The beginning of thepipeline at the Etim “A” Well Platform will be inapproximately 119 feet of water. The terminationof the pipeline at the Etim Production Platformwill be in approximately 105 feet of water,
2. A copy of the plan ofthe pipeline route indenti-fying the sea bed and the land affected may beinspected at the Mobil office located on MarinaRoad, Calabar, the Federal Ministry of Mines andPower, Lagos and Port Harcourt and the office at1-5 Oduniami Street of the aforesaid Company.
3. Any person who considers that his interest orinterests will be injuriously affected by the grant ofthe Licence should lodge, orally or in writing, notless than seven (7) days before the hearing date inparagraph 6, with the Director of Petroleum Re-sources, Federal Ministry of Mines and Power,Private Mail Bag 12574, Lagos notice of objectionstating the interest of the objector and the grounds ofobjection,
