With ever increasing power and demanding conditions, today's large hydraulic mining machines require a lip system with exceptional strength and reliability. ESCO's EverSharp cast lip system for mining applications is the answer. Cast in premium ESCO alloys, the

EverSharp lip system is not only tremendously strong, but designed for increased safety and

excellent performance. The ESCO Posilok® Plus tooth system with its hammerless locking device is

standard, offering improved safety, reliability and penetration.

Lip Profile and GET Placement Optimized

The EverSharp lip profile reduces wear and improves bucket loading. FEA analysis was used to optimize the stress distribution, making the EverSharp lip offering lighter and stronger than the ESCO Loadmaster® lip system. The lip bottom and shroud are moved up and out of the wear path to reduce wear and allow a more efficient bucket curl. The result is reduced maintenance, improved fuel economy and better productivity.

The EverSharp cast shroud base is significantly harder than the lip surface and maintains the fit geometry through multiple shroud replacements. When replacement is needed, it can be done with minimal welding that does not require templates or grinding shroud fit surfaces.

The EverSharp shroud locking system is easy to use and extremely reliable. Two cast locking mechanisms are hinged together and held firmly in place with a Torque Wedge pin that is easily installed and removed with a hex head drive tool. The hinged design is the key feature allowing easier installation and removal.
