EACH OF THE MIRRORS AS TilEY APPROACIL THE LIGHTS ARE SUDDENLY ABLAZE

WITH COLOR..SHARP CRA YOLA BANDS. FIGURES CROSS THE STAGE TRAILING WIDE

RIBBONS AND KITES THAT IN TURN HOLD BIRDS AND BUTTERFLIES. BLOCKS ARE

MOVED INTO PLACE (PERHAPS CLUBtDIAMONDISPADFJAND HEART SHAPES?). THESE

SHAPES WIIL LATER BE MOVED LIKE CHESS PIECES OR TOY BLOCKS TO FORM

NEEDED FURNITURE (TEA TABLE, JURY BOX ETC.) THE FIGURES DISAPPEAR BEHIND

UPSTAGE PANELS AND RE-EMERGE AS WONDERLAND CHARACTERS. THEY DANCE

ABOtiT AS THE RABBIT MOVES ALICE AROUND THE STAGE. SOON ALICE AND THE

RABBIT ARE LEFT ALONE ONSTAGE.

ALICE
