NSK ENGINEERING performs engineering document review and endorsement with commissioning

approach, providing engineering documents related to pre-commissioning and commissioning

activities, commissioning and ready for startup certificates, final dossier, database from engineering

and procurement documents and as-built / as-commissioned documents, and offers creative

commissioning engineering solution to clients.

NSK PROCUREMENT provides all material required during commissioning, startup and O&M as

well as providing tools, equipment, consumable and any other spare parts.

NSK performs Pre-commissioning works, includes status index preparation; dossier preparation;

manpower estimate preparation and task preparation. NSK pre-commissioning execution includes

supervision on construction activities such as: conformity checks, static tests and piping tests.

NSK performs commissioning preparation includes technical

database preparation, dossier preparation, manpower

estimate preparation and task preparation. Commissioning

execution includes preliminary checks; functional tests,

operating tests and pre-startup activities.

NSK performs hookup activities, completion of construction works; punches clearance

and modifications; as well as touch-up and paint works. NSK could direct & manage

the simultaneous operation when hot work is required during operation without

shutdown.

PRESERVATION

COMMISSIONING SOFTWARE SERVICES

NSK PRESERVATION applies protection and preventative maintenance for equipment and systems

before and after use. The process begins with the application of preservatives and protection

fittings by suppliers/vendors.

NSK offers a complete managerial and hands on operations

and maintenance (O&M) team with additional expertise in

implementing training programs for client operations and

maintenance crew so crews to become familiar and competent

in the safe operation of plants and facilities. Also NSK provides

faster troubleshooting and maintenance, costing less with

more efficiency including for rotary and fix equipment; ESD/F&G, telecommunication and control

as well as process systems.The company, having professional and expertise staff in operation and

maintenance, after the startup plant, will take advantage of them until the final delivery of the

platforms to the operation team of clients. In this regard, the company has up to now preservation,

maintenance and operation phase 12,17,18,19, 20&21 platforms in South Pars. This includes

operation, maintenance and preservation of experiences in operating the platforms. This has so

far reached more than 140 months of continuous and non-stop production.

Implementation and operation of pre-com/ commissioning

management software including in-house software (PCMS) or other

software such as ICAPS for supporting complete stage from database preparation to final startup

phase. NSK software is fully compatible with pre-commissioning and commissioning methodology

such as OPERCOM methodology.

The scope of work in this project included pre-commissioning, commissioning,

start-up, management and supervision on hook-up and remaining work. Supply

material for the project, preservation, operation and maintenance of the

platform was another part of the scope of work.

-SouthParsPhase19

The 12B scope included pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, supervision

on hook-up, and construction work that lasted about 100 days since first working day

until the first production, which until that time was unprecedented in this industry. The startup of

SPD12A has also been accomplished with a similar scope of work like SPD12B. Also 3 Platforms

of this phase was operating by NSK about 52 month.

The project's scope involves performing yard

commissioning, hook-up and construction work,

pre-commissioning, commissioning and

startup, operations and maintenance, punch

clearance. At present, the project is being carried

out, and platform SPD19C has been handed over.

One of the important points on this project was the

early connection of the SPD2 pipeline to this platform

and the integration of the SPD2 control system with the

SPD19C at the client's request. This was successfully carried

These phases also include two platforms in phases 20&21, which has been

commissioned by the two platforms. The onshore and offshore activities of the

two platforms are completed and both are in operation and handed over to

the client.

and construction works, pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup,

punch clearance of the phase 20&21 which has been completed. For

the time being, all hook-up operations on these phases have been

completed and these platforms are in operation.

Pipelines pre-commissioning

Pipeline Filling (Flooding) – which can be carried out by propelling pigs through the pipeline with

water or free flooding with water

Pipeline Cleaning – this is carried out by pushing pigs or gel pigs through the pipeline to remove

any debris buildup or corrosion.

Pipeline Gauging – this is carried out to prove the dimensional quality of the internal diameter of

the pipeline.

Hydro testing – this is a process by which the pipeline in question is pressure tested to a predefined

pressure above the operating design pressure of the pipeline.

This project contains Pre Commissioning & Commissioning services of gas

pipelines for phases 13, 14. Pipeline pre-commissioning is the series of processes

carried out on the pipeline before the final product starts working. The project scope

is as follow:

Dewatering – this involves pushing pigs through the pipeline propelled by a gas to remove the

water prior to start-up.
