VACUUM TOILETS

System Design

• A vacuum toilet can easily maintain a clean toilet system, while it takes many hours for trains to complete journey between different destinations. Use of small amount of water about 0.5 liter per cycle with in-built intermedi-ate tank makes the vacuum toilet suitable for train application having limited tank capacity for waste and fresh water.

• Compact size of vacuum toilet saves space also having micro controller for an intelligent performance and fault identification.

• The vacuum toilet system has fiberglass shroud around its cubicle and quick connec-tors for the supplies of air electricity and water which makes replacement of the unit easy for the service. It can be replaced within 15-20 min-utes.

•After flush is activated a vacuum is creat-ed in intermediate tank

•The bowl is rinsed with water

•Bowl contents are passed into intermedi-ate tank

•Pressure is increased to p contents of inter-mediate tank to waste water tank
