CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY CHARGES

With effect from the 1st January 2016, there shall be and is hereby promulgated revised Civil Aviation Authority Charges for all and every service performed and rendered by the Civil Aviation Authority, excluding all incidentals to be borne by the client and the introduction thereof a new Passenger Safety Charge, which shall be the Kwacha equivalent of USD $10 for International Tickets and Kwacha equivalent of USD $5 for Domestic Tickets. Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Authority Act, No. 7 of 2012, particularly, Paragraph 9 of Part II to the First Schedule, the revised Charges for the Civil Aviation Authority services are as given below: NOTE: The conversion rate of 1 fee unit, Fine or Penalty unit = 30 ngwee which is a multiplier for the statutory penalties.
