A contraçt is offered for an initial period of three years.Applicants should have a good working khowledge of Swahiliand shoulq be experienced in the construction of al1 forms of 'water supplies and allied problems. Testimonials, 'wbich willbe treated confdentially, should accompany any application.

2. Buildings Ahall not 'be erected until plans (including blockplans showing the positions of the buildings and a system ofdrainage for disposing of sewage, surface and sullage water on .the land), drawings, elevations and specilkations thereof shallhave been approved in writing by the Local Authority and the .Commissioner of Lands. Such plans, drawings, elevations andspecilications shall be submitied in triplicate to the LocalAuthority within three months of the commencement of theterm.

3. The grantees shall erect complete 'for occupation within24 months of the commencement of tile term a petrol serviçestation of an approved. design constructed of approved perma-nent and sreproof materials on proper foundations.

4. The plots and the buildings erected thereon shall be usedonly for tho purpose of a petrol service s.tation-

5. The buildings shall not cover more than 50 pcr centum ofthe' area of the land.

6. The grantees shall not subdivide the land.7. The grantees sball not sell, lransfer, sublet or cilarge tlle

land or any part thereof except with the prior consent inwriting of the Governor. No application for such consent(except in respect of a loan required for building purposes) will 'be considered until Condition No. 3 has been 'performed.

8. The grantees shall par on demand such sum as may beestimated to be the proportlonate cost of constructing all roadsand sewers serving or adjoining the land.9. Should the Local Authority at any time require the said

roads to be conjtructed to a lligber standard, the grantees shallpay on demand such proportion of the cost of such cons.truc-tion as may be assesscd.
