THERE ARE BOUNDARIES

TO THE BIBLE Psalm 74:17 NIV“It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter.”

(Discover God’s Plan And Fulfil It This Year)

Friday, January 1

“Gerald, when you’re mowing the lawn, make sure you don’t go into Miss Jacqueline’s garden

like you did the last time. Remember she wasn’t too happy the last time you did that.”

“Okay Mum, I will be careful this time, I’ll follow the boundary she’s set in place,” replied Gerald.

“Good job, son!” Gerald’s mum praised.Nobody can be more or do more than what God has

allotted or assigned to him or her. In other words, you can’t achieve more than whatever God has planned and destined for you to achieve; you’ll not go beyond it. Our opening verse says, “It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth...” (Psalm 74:17 NIV). He set the boundaries that no one can go beyond. So, the wise thing to do is to discover what God wants you to do, and then, go all out to fulfil it.

God will always send you the Word that’s meant for you. He gives us the Word for the year, to guide our thinking, planning and actions. That Word is for you to live by; take it, and run with it. You can be as successful as God has ordained for you to be this year if you’d walk with Him by the Word, through the Spirit. Real success is achieving God’s set goals

for you at different levels of your life. Measure your success by what you do with the Word of God, and how you live to fulfil God’s purpose for your life. Be definite about the things you want to achieve for the Lord and run with the visions He unveils to your spirit.

Take some time to fast, pray, and meditate on the Word for the year, and as you do, you’ll be better positioned to experience the victories and blessings ordained for you by the Spirit. The more you study the Word, the more you discover God’s plan for your life and know exactly how He wants you to live.

JESUS’ NAME IS INCONTESTABLE

TO THE BIBLE Mark 16:17-18 CEV“Everyone who believes me will be able to do wonderful things. By using my name they will force out demons, and they will speak new languages. They will handle snakes and will drink poison and not be hurt. They will also heal sick people by placing their hands on them.”

LET’S TALK

Saturday, January 2

The Name of Jesus is the most potent authority that there is in the whole universe—no other

name with enough authority to rival the effect of the Name of Jesus—and that is because God has exalted Jesus to the zenith of all authority. When you study and understand what the Bible says about the Name of Jesus, it’ll strengthen your faith and change your general attitude and approach to life. Philippians 2:9-10 NIV says, “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”

At His Name, every knee bows, demons tremble and hell quakes. Hallelujah! He said, “In my name shall they (those who believe in Him) cast out devils.” You never need to sweat to cast out devils. All it requires is that you use the Name of Jesus. The devil may play on your mind and tell you you’re not “qualified” or “powerful” enough to cast him out. Never accept his lies. Jesus gave you the authority.

He said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” You have all it takes to cast out devils—the Name of Jesus. Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to that Name. Live victoriously and dominate circumstances in His Name.

John 16:23-24 CEV; Acts 3:1-10,16

Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to the Name of Jesus. I exercise my authority in Him to keep the devil and his cohorts at bay and defeated, as I live victoriously and dominate life’s situations and circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DON’T BACK DOWN!

TO THE BIBLE Acts 20:22-24 NIV“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

“Reggie, I think we should cancel this meeting altogether in light of the recent warnings,” Eric

counselled.“Yeah, perhaps we just postpone the meeting till

everything calms down? I bet the school authorities have us in their sights, as they have been looking for a way to indict us now that holding large religious meetings have been banned.”

“Hey, the Lord has told us to do this, and we can’t back down! Come what may, but this is the best time to preach the Gospel.” Reggie affirmed strongly.

Emboldened by Reggie’s bold resolve, the three friends went ahead to hold their crusade and a massive turnout of souls, including a few high-ranking school officials who had intended to stop the meeting, were led to Christ that night!

Jesus Christ is truly the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father, but by Him. Be convinced and compelled by this truth, and preach it boldly. Don’t be afraid of being persecuted for proclaiming His Name. The early

apostles were beaten and threatened never to proclaim the Name of Jesus. But rather than give in to the faithless religious and government authorities, they preached Christ even more boldly and filled the whole of Jerusalem with their doctrine (Acts 5:28).

There’re antichrist spirits in the world today, working against the preaching of the Gospel, but they’re not a factor, because we’ve already overcome them. 1 John 4:4 says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” Emulate Paul’s love for Christ and passion for the Gospel (Acts 20:22-24). This glorious Gospel which has been committed to your trust is worth everything. Therefore, preach it boldly everywhere!

2 Timothy 3:12 NIV; Proverbs 31:8-9; Matthew 10:32-35

Precious Father, I thank you for your Word in my heart is as a burning fire shut up in my bones. I fulfil my calling as a bearer of divine truths to my world, standing firm in the faith, and undeterred to spread your righteousness around the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BEYOND THE MUSTARD SEED

TO THE BIBLE Romans 12:3 KJV“…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

(God Has Given You Faith, So Grow And Build It Strong)

LET’S TALK

Monday, January 4

God has given to everyone in Christ the measure of faith. He isn’t going to provide you with faith

when you pray hard or fast long enough; He’s already done it. He’s given you “the measure of faith,” not “a measure of faith.” Each one of us was given the same measure of faith when we received the Gospel. According to the Lord Jesus, even the smallest measure of faith can move mountains; it can do the impossible: “…For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).

The Lord, however, doesn’t want you to remain at this low level of mustard-seed faith; He wants your faith to grow and be strong. Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The emphasis is on “hearing,” that is, the continued bombardment of your spirit with the Word of God. But the way to build your faith strong and make it effective is by exercising it; that is, acting on the Word. Your faith will be weak if you don’t exercise it. It’s like someone who keeps eating but doesn’t exercise; his muscles will grow big but weak.

In the same manner, God’s Word is food to your spirit. 13

Matthew 4, Genesis 9-11

ONE YEAR

Acts 7:1-11, Nehemiah 7-8TWO YEAR

If you keep receiving God’s Word and do nothing with it, your faith will be weak. Weak faith causes people to stagger, and as a result, fear grips them, and they’re defeated by the crises of life. However, the cure for weak faith is putting the Word to work; acting on the Word. The more you meditate on God’s Word and put it to work, the greater, and stronger your faith.

The Bible says Abraham “…did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20). Build your faith strong by using it even in the seemingly small or simple matters of life. Exercise your faith all the time. Don’t allow that headache or pain; use your faith against it. Act on the Word, and build your faith strong.

Proverbs 24:10; Hebrews 11:3; 1 John 5:4

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that bolsters faith in my spirit and causes me to see and do the impossible. I’m developing my faith and building it strong by meditating, declaring and acting on the Word. I live in victory, always and forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Create a “growing faith schedule” showing the times you’d listen to and study God’s Word every day of this year. Include in it a daily plan to put the Word you hear to work to make your faith strong.

BRING THEM BACK!

TO THE BIBLE Luke 15:23-24“…Bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found….”

(Be Concerned For Those Who May Have Strayed Away)

LET’S TALK

Tuesday, January 5

“Speaking of Jamie, I don’t think I’ve seen him in Church for a while; perhaps I will give him a call?”

“Better yet, let’s go visit him at his place; I’m sure he will appreciate the visit,” Tom suggested to Phil.

In a church, particularly one with a large congregation, it’s possible for some members to be inconsistent in their attendance; some may even have stopped coming altogether. This may not be immediately obvious, especially if the church is always full during the services.

As Christians and soul winners, we should be concerned enough to know if anyone in our congregation has strayed away or fallen by the wayside. In Luke 15, the Lord Jesus told the parable of a shepherd with one hundred sheep. One of them got missing, and he left the ninety-nine in the wilderness to search for the missing sheep. When he found it, he carried it home rejoicing, and invited his friends and neighbours to celebrate with him. Then, Jesus said, “…Likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:7).

one who had never come to the Lord, but one who had strayed away. There’s a difference between the one who has never been inside (the church) and the one who was inside, but strayed away. Remember, Jesus was dealing with Old Testament church here; so He wasn’t referring to the lost sinners of the world.

Matthew 10:5-6 says, “These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” The Lord is sending you today to that brother or sister who no longer comes to church. Don’t give up on them; find them, intercede for them and win them back. When you bring them back, the Bible says there’ll be great joy in heaven. This is something you have to do.

Ephesians 3:14-17; Galatians 4:19; Galatians 6:1

Dear Father, thank you for making me genuinely concerned about your children who have strayed from the way. I pray that Christ be formed in them, and that they’d be established, rooted and grounded in your love, being fully persuaded that in you alone lie their joy and total fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Plan to visit someone you know hasn’t been to Church in a while.

BRIGHT, DAZZLING LIGHT

TO THE BIBLE 1 Peter 2:9“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

(You Shine Brightly In The Midst Of Darkness)

LET’S TALK

Wednesday, January 6

The Bible says God has called us into His marvelous, overwhelming light. This means we dwell in light;

we’re children of light. Jesus also stated this in Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world....” What a blessing! We’re the light of the world!

To catch this truth, you have to first understand what light is. Light is that which makes manifest. Light describes. Ephesians 5:13 AMPC says, “…When anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light.” In other words, light shows you what’s present. It leads you in the way and gives direction. Light brings fulfilment and joy. When you show up, darkness disappears.

Darkness represents sin, death, evil and all the negative things that are associated with Satan. Jesus said: “…I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12). Like Jesus, you’re the light of the world, and have the light of life. You’ve been brought out of darkness into the supernatural life of glory.

Arise and shine. Refuse to allow the works of darkness manifest themselves in your life, for there’s no darkness in your life.

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Don’t just shine; shine brightly. Let the intensity of your light dazzle and discomfit Satan, his demons and the negative works of darkness. Let it inspire those around you to praise and glorify your heavenly Father, as they see and experience your good works—your works of righteousness.

Isaiah 60:1-2; Matthew 5:16

Dear Father, thank you for the glorious heritage I have in you. You’ve made me a burning and a shining light, and I shine ever so brightly in a dark world, radiating your glory to all men, and manifesting works of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

GOD’S VOICE AMONGST OTHERS

TO THE BIBLE John 10:27 NIV“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

(Learn To Distinguish The Voice Of God From Others)

LET’S TALK

Thursday, January 7

“I think God wants me to lay hands on our Pastor,” Brother Charles said to two other care group

leaders soberly.“That’s contrary to what Hebrews 7:7 says?” Brother

John pointed out to him.“Yeah, but it was God’s instruction to me!” Charles

maintained.“No, Charles, God’s Word never contradicts itself. You

misunderstood what the Holy Spirit was telling you.” Jane said, “God would rather have us intercede on Pastor’s behalf instead, as the Word said to do in 1 Thessalonians 5:25, 2 Thessalonians 3:1 and Hebrews 13:18.”

Many wonder if it’s possible to hear God speak in a world where there’re so many voices. The words of the Master in John 10:2-5 clarify this. The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). The key is understanding God’s Word. The more you study the Word, the more you recognise and know the voice of God, because God and His Word are one. He speaks through His Word.

Everything He tells you: every direction or guidance you receive from Him, always sides up with His Word.

Through meditation on His Word, His voice becomes clearer to you, even in the midst of all the noise and distractions.

If you’ve previously found it difficult to recognise God’s voice, the solution is simple: spend more time studying the Word! Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom….” Proverbs 4:20-21 NIV says, “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart.” If you keep God’s Word in your heart, you’ll always hear the Word in your heart and recognise when He speaks to you. In addition, pray in the spirit often; pray in tongues. This helps to condition your spirit to discern God’s voice, visions and promptings.

1 Samuel 3:9-10; Isaiah 30:21 CEV

Dear Father, your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. My spirit is conditioned to receive supernatural ideas, visions and promptings. I’m sensitive and conditioned to know and walk in your perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Study God’s Word in John 10:2-5 and, for the next 15 minutes, speak fervidly in tongues. As you do, the Lord will drop instructions in your spirit consistent with His Word, then go ahead and do them.

There’s no other book in the Bible quite like the Book of Revelation. Many people avoid this important book of the Bible because they think it’s too confusing or frightening. While Revelation may be challenging to understand, to not delve into this book is to miss the most powerful and important Revelation of all: the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

The Book of Revelation, full of complex imagery and vivid depictions, outlines God’s plan for the Second Coming of Christ and Satan’s punishment in the lake of fire. Unlike other books in the New Testament, it’s a work of prophecy, talking primarily about future events. Fueled by the popular fascination with the end of the world, “apocalyptic” books and movies have become staples of pop culture and fine art.

Yet the average person still has much to learn about the Book of Revelation. Here are a few interesting facts about it that all people should know.

WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT THE BOOK OF REVELATION

DID YOUKNOW?

20 212121

1. Before Roman Emperor Domitian exiled the Apostle John to the Greek island of Patmos, where experts say he wrote the Book of Revelation, he ordered him boiled in oil, but John miraculously survived.2. Revelation came to John in a vision, perhaps the reason for the great use of imagery in the book.3. The Book of Revelation uses 21 symbols, beginning with the “seven lampstands,” representing seven churches in Asia Minor.4. Although firmly ensconced in popular culture, the word “rapture” does not appear in the English Bible. Rapture is an anglicised version of the Latin word “raeptius.”5. Revelation is the only book in the New Testament that uses the word “Alleluia,” indicating praise to God, and it appears four times – all in Chapter 19.6. The forces of evil will gather in the Valley of Megiddo in Israel—once called the “ideal battlefield” by Napoleon—before the climactic Battle of Armageddon. The carnage will be so great that the blood of the evil army will flow as high as horses’ bridles (Revelation 14:14-20 and Revelation 19:11-21).7. The Lord Jesus uses just one angel to bind Satan and throw him into a bottomless pit for one thousand (1000) years — an indication of Jesus’ power over evil (Revelation 20:1-3).

A Final ThoughtGod says that anyone who reads the book of Revelation and takes it to heart will be blessed (Revelation 1:3). But in the last chapter, He warns of dire consequences for anyone who would dare add anything or take anything away from the book (Revelation 22:19).

Often, when young people are asked questions such as where they’d wish to live or study in,

they respond with names of seemingly prestigious cities and countries. Some tend to think that being in such places would help make them more successful with their future careers. As a Christian, you ought to think differently because your success or greatness in life isn’t tied to where you live, where you were born, who your parents are, or what school you attend. It’s about who you are in Christ.

Jesus said, “Everything the Father has is also mine” (John 16:15 MSG). Nobody ever talked like Jesus! Imagine His audacious words in the verse above! And the beautiful thing is that He’s made it so for you too. Romans 8:17 says you’re an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. Hallelujah! In 1 Corinthians 3:21, the Apostle Paul said, “Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours.” He went further in the 22nd verse to say the world is yours. How can anyone know this and be in lack or want? Notice he didn’t say the world belongs to those who live in the “best” countries of the world. It doesn’t matter what city you’re in or what school you attend, In Christ, all things are yours.

Think about it: where was Jesus born? A tiny town in a small country! But from that small country, He dominated the world. Peter understood it and declared, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3). If you’d accept, meditate and live by this truth, you wouldn’t be intimidated by anything, whether circumstances, powers, or government. You’d think big because you’re conscious that the world belongs to you in Christ Jesus.

You’re an heir of the Sovereign God, the Word declares that all things are yours; have this consciousness and live in dominion and self-sufficiency every day.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23: 2 Peter 1:3 CEV

God’s divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. I have no lack or want. I’m the seed of Abraham; therefore, the world is mine; all things are mine because I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. Blessed be God!

YOU CALL THE SHOTS!

TO THE BIBLE Hebrews 11:3 AMPC“By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.”

(Speak What You Want Into Existence)

LET’S TALK

Saturday, January 9

Do you know the potentials and abilities of God’s Word on your lips are limitless? The power of

God you release, when you speak His Word, is so potent that it influences whatever it’s focused on. Genesis 1 shows us just how efficacious the spoken Word of God can be. Recall that the earth was a chaotic mass. But after the Holy Spirit incubated upon it, God gave the Word, and everything He spoke leapt into being. This is the same ability He’s given us; the ability to speak whatever we want into existence!

Just like God, you can call forth good things into existence from absolutely nothing! The vital key to this, however, is meditation. Just as the Holy Spirit brooded (hovered, fluttered) upon the earth’s chaotic mass, when there’s a situation you want to change, take out time to meditate on God’s Word. During that meditation, there’ll arise within you inspired words that’ll cause the change(s) that you desire.

It doesn’t matter how precarious the situation might appear. Hosea 14:2 says, “Take with you words....”; what do you want in your life? The Bible says without the Word was

24 25

Acts 7:54-60, Nehemiah 13TWO YEAR

not anything made that was made! So, what do you want to “make”? Don’t cry about the situation; don’t gripe over the pain! The question is, what do you want to see? What do you want to create out of that precarious situation? The Bible says God commanded light to shine out of darkness. Don’t focus on the problem; focus on what you want and speak it forth.

Don’t say, “I have cancer” or “I have diabetes”; it’s not about what “you have”; it’s what you want in place of that cancer or diabetes. You’re created in His image and in His likeness, with His ability in your spirit, and His Word in your mouth. Speak and create what you want. As a child of God, you get to call the shots in your life. Whatever it is you want, speak it into existence!

2 Corinthians 4:13; Mark 11:23 TLB

I take advantage of the creative power of God in my words to frame my glorious life and world in line with God’s perfect will for me. As I speak forth words of blessings concerning my life, health, finances, loved ones and ministry, the Holy Spirit incubates on them, and they become real. I walk in blessings and ever-increasing glory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

24 25

Matthew 7:7-29, Genesis 23-24

ONE YEAR

Amen.

YOU’VE GOT A SECURE FUTURE

TO THE BIBLE Jeremiah 29:11 NIV““For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.””

The Lord Jesus specified some of the agonising signs that’ll signal the end of the age. He said, “There will

be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26 NIV). Much of these are already happening and many have become despondent; livelihoods, businesses and economies have been decimated.

Many aren’t sure about their future anymore. But, as a Christian, you shouldn’t be agitated about the future like others are; you should be at rest and peace. The government or society where you live might promise you a great future but don’t hope on their promises. God’s plan is the best; your role is to discover that plan and walk in the light of it.

Never allow the troubles in the world get you depressed. Jesus knew you’d encounter crises in this world; it’s the reason He said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NIV). Be

Maybe the schools in your state haven’t opened yet, or perhaps some have lost their jobs and businesses in your area, whatever it is, the trouble is only for a short time. The Apostle Paul called it “light, momentary affliction.” He said, “For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!]” (2 Corinthians 4:17 AMPC). “Pastor, I need your help,” Maphella urgently asked of her Pastor at the end of the church service.

“What’s the challenge, Sister Maphella?” the Pastor gently enquired.

“Pastor, I feel so far away from God,” Maphella opened up, “I just don’t feel the Spirit of God within me like before. Has He left me?” she asked, with tears forming in her eyes.

“But, Sister Maphella, the Spirit of God never leaves you once He takes His residence inside you,” he gently counselled. “He’s always with you whether you feel like it or not. Don’t use your feelings to determine if He’s in you because He is, and He wants you to fellowship with Him more often.”

In Christianity, we don’t judge by our feelings; we follow the Word. That you “feel” close to God or far from Him doesn’t make any difference. You live in Him, and He lives in you. How much closer can you get to someone who lives in you? God wants you to know and grow in the knowledge of His Word; He desires you to walk in the light of your oneness with Him. He wants you to live by what the Word says about you, and not by your feelings or the opinions of others.

LET’S TALK

Tuesday, January 12

Some Christians allow anger or bitterness to douse their zeal and effectiveness in ministering to others.

Some go as far as withdrawing their services in God’s house simply because of some offence someone in church meted to them. They become less excited about the Gospel than when they first found the faith. But this is not God’s will for anybody. You should not stop winning souls or become cold about the things of God because someone offended you.

Hebrews 12:15 GNB says, “Guard against turning back from the grace of God. Let no one become like a bitter plant that grows up and causes many troubles with its poison.” In other words, consciously protect your heart from becoming bitter and consequently losing your excitement about the things of God. The privileges of service we have in the house of God are sacrosanct; don’t take them lightly. You’ve been endowed with the ability and grace to lead people to Christ, unveiling to them the mysteries of the Kingdom; keep at it. There’s a crown of glory awaiting you at the end.

As a Christian, every day presents opportunities for you to keep the faith and maintain your confession of who Jesus is and what He means to you. Nothing should take your focus

The Bible says those that turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars forever (Daniel 12:3). Keep shining evermore in leading many to Christ. Let it be your life’s work and priority.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I’m helped and energised. I’m inspired to share the Word and lead others to Christ and bring many into salvation. Amen.

“But Brian,” Nathan responded, “as Christians, we’re the restraining force against evil in the world today. We’ve got the authority in the Name of Jesus to frustrate these satanic activities. So, instead of idly observing the false news out there, take your place, alongside other Christians, as a king-priest and declare God’s will concerning the nations of the world in prayer.” And as Nathan concluded his words, they all joined hands to pray for the nations of the world.

The spate of evil, wickedness and deception perpetrated by Satan and his cohorts around the world today is something only the Church of Jesus Christ can cut a swathe through. We’re the restraining force against evil in the earth today. We have the authority in the Name of Jesus to frustrate these satanic activities. Don’t sit idly by; take your position as a king-

The devil and his cohorts often try to deceive people into thinking they are helpless in the face of the evil and wicked acts perpetrated by demon spirits in the world, but that’s all lies! In the place of prayer, we can establish God’s righteousness in places previously run by devils; we can take sides with the Lord in establishing His will on the earth.

Even now, declare boldly that the wicked spirits responsible for the upheaval and evil in the nations of the world are cut down, and that God’s glory reigns in the earth. In these last days, God’s people shall continually declare His righteousness and praise boldly, leading more souls into salvation in Christ Jesus.

Dear Father, I take my place as a king-priest and put a stop to the evil plans and manoeuvres of Satan; I declare that the light of the Gospel shines gloriously around the world, and many become partakers of God’s grace, love and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE OFFSPRING OF LOVE

TO THE BIBLE 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 TLB“Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.”

The Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8); love is His nature—who He is. When we talk

about the attributes of love, therefore, we’re talking about the attributes of God. Apply this to our theme verse, and it’ll read, “God is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. God does not demand His own way.” Hallelujah!

Recall how Jesus lived when He walked the earth; He was love manifested. His works were works of love. His words were words of love. He was love in motion. Jesus in Galilee was the intrusion of love in the streets of Galilee. Love invaded that atmosphere. Now, what about you? The Bible says you’re God’s offspring (1 Peter 1:23), meaning that you’re the reproduction of love.

The offspring of an eagle would be an eagle. The offspring of a human would be a human. The offspring of Love (God), therefore, is love! So, if your name is Tom, for example, you should say, “Tom is very patient and kind. Tom is never envious nor boils over with jealousy. Tom is not

AFFIRM AND RESPOND

TO THE BIBLE Romans 10:10”For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

(Your Response To God’s Word Activates Its Power)

LET’S TALK

Friday, January 15

When the Word of God comes to us, we rejoice and celebrate with shouts of praise to our God.

However, just shouting and celebrating the Word of God as it comes to you does not necessarily mean that such a Word will be fulfilled in your life. You don’t receive the Word to be quiet. If you don’t respond, the Word will do you no good.

In Christianity, you believe and speak; 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.” Your confession of the Word is your response to the Word; this is what will change your life and circumstances. Responding to the Word means more than “reciting” what God has said; you have to say something consistent with what He has said in faith.

Anything God says is loaded with power. His words are never empty! They’re like missiles locked onto a target; however, a missile needs to be guided for it to produce the desired result. When a missile is deployed from its ground station, it is monitored by a guidance command system that helps it maintain the right trajectory so it could hit its target.

God’s Word concerning the year has come to you. This is His will, plan, and purpose for you to walk in, and it is your responsibility to regularly and intentionally affirm it. As the subsequent months of 2021 roll by, and as the Word for each month is released, make sure you take a hold of it and keep affirming it. Guide your life with the Word from your mouth until it bears fruits of righteousness for you.

GOD’S TRUE PICTURE

TO THE BIBLE John 14:8-9 NIV“Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, “Show us the Father”?””

(Jesus Is The Express Image Of God)

LET’S TALK

Saturday, January 16

The Bible says in Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form (Colossians 2:9), meaning

anyone who wants to know what God looks like should look at Jesus. No wonder Jesus said to Philip, “...Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father….” Jesus is the express image of the Father’s Person. Some believe that, in heaven, there’re three thrones: one for the Father, one for the Son, Jesus, and then another for the Holy Spirit; but that’s not true. The Father joyfully appointed Jesus as the heir of all things, including His throne. Thus in heaven, there’s only one throne, and Jesus is the one sitting on that throne.

Where then is the Father? He’s in Jesus! The Bible says it pleased the Father, that in Him (Jesus) should all fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19). Then Colossians 2:9 lets us know that in Him (Jesus) dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily. If you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve seen the Father. No wonder when He said in John 10:30 NIV, “I and the Father are one,” the Jews picked up stones and wanted to kill Him; why? They said He made Himself equal with God: ““We are not stoning you for any good

work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God”” (John 10:33 NIV). The Jews considered His words blasphemous because they didn’t know who He was, but Jesus is the perfect image and icon of the Godhead!

He’s the expression of God’s glory, and by inheritance, He obtained a more excellent Name in all of heaven and earth. Philippians 2:9-11 NIV declares, “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” He’s the King of kings, and Lord of lords. Hallelujah!

Hebrews 1:1-3; Colossians 2:9

Dear Lord Jesus, I ascribe to you all glory, honour and majesty. You’re the joy of heaven and the bright morning star! You’re the beauty of divinity and the perfect expression of the Father’s person. I worship and adore you, precious Saviour, for there’s none like you! May your kingdom reign in the earth, and be established forever in the hearts of all men. Amen.

“Hey guys, I heard you scheduled a prayer meeting at the end of the class?” Ron asked

his classmates, Keila and Jonathan, as they walked down the hallway.

“Yes, we did,” Keila and Jonathan responded in unison.“That’s awesome! So what are we praying about?”

Ron asked excitedly.“Um, nothing specific, we just want to seek the face of

the Lord as shown in Jeremiah 29:13-14,” Keila answered.“That’s Old Testament stuff, guys.” Ron promptly

pointed out. “We don’t go seeking God; we fellowship with Him because we’re born of Him, and He lives in us.”

There’re still many who haven’t understood true Christianity; therefore, they go about seeking God. You may say, “But isn’t Jeremiah 29:13-14 for the Christian?” No, it’s not! Stop seeking God! He lives in you. Colossians 2:6 says, having received Christ Jesus the Lord, we should continue to live in Him. Therefore, we’re not seeking Him; we have Him. We’ve arrived, for we’re born of Him, into His presence.

When you show up, He shows up, because you’re one with Him. The moment you realise this, your search is over. From that moment, your worship changes; your prayer-life changes; your faith-life changes; everything changes! You’d find that you’re walking in fulfilment twenty-four hours a day, every day of your life, pleasing Him in all things. Blessed be His Name forever!

1 Corinthians 6:17 MSG; Colossians 1:27

Precious Father, I thank you for everything I’d ever need in life is in Christ, and Christ is in me, and to have Christ is to have everything. I thank you for the privilege to be a member of His body, flesh, and bones! Christ lives in me, and He’s my assurance of a life of continuous victory and unending success. Hallelujah!

THE GREATEST HONOUR EVER!

TO THE BIBLE 2 Corinthians 5:18“Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”

(God Chose You To Save Your World)

LET’S TALK

Monday, January 18

2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God isn’t willing that any should perish, but that all should come to

repentance. He proved His commitment by sending Jesus to die for the salvation of all men (John 3:16). However, despite God’s commitment to saving the lost, He wills to do it through us—His saints—and has committed to us “the ministry of reconciliation.”

Jesus said in Mark 16:15 NIV, “...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” We have the most incredible honour on earth: the opportunity to preach the Gospel. God gave us the rare privilege of being His partners in changing the world: His partners in transforming lives.

Think about the fact that God didn’t give the charge of soul-winning to angels, but to you and me. The glorious Gospel of the blessed God has been committed to our trust (1 Timothy 1:11); be faithful in it. Be on-the-go with the Gospel; don’t stop until the knowledge of the glory of God covers the earth as the waters cover the sea.

AS RICH AS GOD IS

TO THE BIBLE Genesis 15:1“After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

(You Have Every Thing Because The Lord Is Your Inheritance)

LET’S TALK

Tuesday, January 19

The underlined words spoken by God to Abraham in our opening verse reminds of what He said later

to Aaron in Numbers 18:20: “…I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Israel.” We understand from the Scriptures that the Lord apportioned inheritance to the different tribes of Israel except for the Levites, to whom He said, “I am your inheritance.”

How rich can you get when the Lord is your inheritance? How glorious would your life be? Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.” Since this is true, then the earth and everything in it belongs to you because you’re His heir. Paul understood this and said, “...all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21).

Now you can understand why your prayer times shouldn’t be spent asking God for things for yourself. What do you want to ask of one who’s already given you everything, including Himself? You have Christ, and Christ is everything. This truth should change your mentality and life forever. Is it strength you require? The Bible says He’s your strength! Therefore, testify like the Psalmist, “…The LORD is the strength

of my life...” (Psalm 27:1). Is it wisdom you think you need? The Bible says Christ

is your wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30). You’ve been granted all that you require for life and godliness; you’ve been launched into a life of glory, excellence and superabundance. No wonder the Psalmist exclaimed, “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance” (Psalm 16:6). All things are yours!

TO THE BIBLE Ephesians 5:25-27“…Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her…that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

(You’ve Been Called To Practise God’s Word)

LET’S TALK

Wednesday, January 20

Our heavenly Father desires that His children walk in the consciousness of His righteousness.

God’s gift of righteousness is what sets us apart from the Old Testament folks: they had God’s Word which they were commanded to obey but, as Christians, we’re different! In the Old Testament, they were called to obey the Word; but in the New Testament, we’re Word practitioners; we’re the expression of the Word; it’s called the mirror principle. God’s idea is that if He shows you who you are, you’d live accordingly.

Therefore, when you come across a verse such as Ephesians 4:25: “Therefore, putting away lying, “let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another,” you act exactly as He said by putting lying away. The mirror shows you as one who puts lying away, so do it. It’s not a commandment. In the Old Testament, it was a commandment not to lie; but in the New Testament, we do the Word and walk in truth.

The Bible says “...the law is not made for a righteous person...” (1 Timothy 1:9), and we’re God’s righteous ones (Romans 1:17). In the Old Testament, He gave them laws, but in the New Testament, He gave us His nature, His life of righteousness, so we can live right. It explains why if you did something that isn’t consistent with your nature of righteousness, you’re troubled from within.

By your own spirit, you’re able to tell and judge, because of His light in you. This is why we teach righteousness, so God’s people can become conscious of who they are in Christ and live accordingly.

Colossians 1:20-22; James 1:22-25 GNB

I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, unblameable and irreprovable in His sight. I’m conscious of this nature of righteousness in my spirit; therefore, every day, I produce works of righteousness, walking in perfection and in the love of the Father. Amen.

Amen.

Meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC and Revelation 1:6, and begin reflecting these realities in your everyday life.

“Pastor, must every believer win souls?” Mark asked his Pastor at a special “Questions and

Answers” service.“Yes, we all must.” Mark’s Pastor answered, “It’s how

we testify to our world of the wonderful gift of righteousness God has given us.”

“But Pastor, what if I don’t feel like testifying to my world?” Mark pressed on.

“Mark, no one who receives an awesome gift hides it. You’d want to show it off to your friends,” the Pastor maintained. “When we preach the Gospel, we’re showing off our wonderful gift of righteousness and inviting them to partake of it as well.”

There’re three important reasons you must preach the Gospel and win souls as a Christian. First is your faith in the Lord Jesus and His glorious Gospel. The second reason is your love for Him and hope of His soon return. The third reason is His instruction for us to win souls. These three reasons should compel you to win souls.

Influence implies power to affect persons or events, especially power based on prestige. It also means “the act or power of producing an effect without apparent exertion of force or direct exercise of command” (Merriam-Websters 11th Collegiate Dictionary).

Joseph of Arimathaea, who was given access to the body of Jesus after the crucifixion, was a man of influence. The disciples didn’t have as much influence as he did. As a Christian, you’ve been called to be a person of influence in your world. You’ve been chosen to make great impact in your generation for God, and you don’t have to be an ordained minister to do this. Don’t think in terms of titles; think in terms of function. Ask yourself, “How can I affect my environment today?”

Make up your mind not to live an ordinary life. God needs you to be a person of influence, so you can speak for the Church, the body of Christ.

Before the lockdowns, I started distributing TeeVo in my school and took advantage of it to win souls, and amazingly most of the teenagers who received TeeVo said they always wanted to have a clear understanding of the Word of God. Even during the lockdown, I actively distributed TeeVo online and led a lot of teenagers to the Lord.

They are very grateful as they all testify that TeeVo is really changing their lives, and they have a deeper understanding of God’s Word because of the material. Praise God.”

When we say, “Jesus is Lord,” it’s much more than a religious expression; it means He’s One with supreme authority. He’s Master and Ruler; He’s the One to be reverenced and adored! As a Christian, you’re essentially the image of Christ; you’re the Christ that your world sees.

Every step you take should be the expression of the divine life in you. Your words and actions, the life you live, the way you do the things you do, should express the Christ-nature in you. You’ve been called to show off God’s glory.

That’s how Jesus lived when He walked the earth. He was the manifestation of God: the expression of the divine life. You’re Christ alive to your world, your family, neighbourhood, school, city, and country; therefore, when people look at you, they should see the glory of the new creation.

Think about a fashion model who adorns exquisite dresses and shows them off to an audience, a magazine or other media platforms; You’re a God-carrying vessel and you ought to show off this Christ-life to your world so they could glorify your Father in heaven.

On another occasion, the disciples had sailed far out at sea when they suddenly saw a figure walking towards them on the water; it was Jesus. Again, they wondered, “What manner of man is this that defies nature?”

Think about His ascension to heaven! He simply levitated and went through the clouds into heaven. It pays to know who Jesus really is. Until you know Him, you can’t have true faith in Him, and you wouldn’t know yourself. Here’s something most extraordinary: anyone who believes in Jesus receives the same life that He has. John 1:12-13 says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God… who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

As a Christian, it’s important how you think and what you think about. You’re not of this world;

therefore, you shouldn’t think like an ordinary person. Don’t say, “I’m American, or I’m Australian, as a result, there’s a way I think.” No! When you’re born again, you cease to be of your earthly nativity, because your spirit is recreated. You should therefore only think the Word-way. God’s Word must form the basis for the kind of thoughts you process and allow. Now that you’re in Christ, you have a new culture: the Christ-culture. Until this becomes a reality in your spirit, you’ll live like an ordinary person and not experience the sublime blessings of life in Christ.

The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). You’re of a new lineage and heritage. Refuse to be described by any earthly culture or affiliation. If you must be identified as a Zulu, Afrikaans, American, British, German, French, Nigerian, etc., let it be because you want to win those of such descent to Christ.

Our opening verse, in the New International Version says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” As you meditate on the Word, your mind is programmed to think accordingly. WHAT’S GODLINESS?

TO THE BIBLE 1 Timothy 4:7 NIV“Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.”

(Exercise Yourself In Godly Character)

LET’S TALK

Tuesday, January 26

The word “godly” above actually means piety towards God, piety to spiritual or godly activities.

It means devotion. It doesn’t refer to inner righteousness or inherent holiness. It’s about the things you do, how you respond to God, and to the things of God. For instance, there’s a way you ought to behave when you come into the house of God, because church isn’t like everywhere else. It’s a place of worship. There’s an attitude of reverence you ought to have when you come to church.

Godliness is about your demeanour. Your dressing matters; some piety is necessary in your dressing. There’s a decency that goes with the Spirit of God, and that decency must be in your life. There’re outward things that people should see in you, and say, “Yes, this is a Christian.” They can’t see it in your heart, but can see it in your character. That’s what godliness is about. There’re movies you shouldn’t watch. There’re books or magazines you shouldn’t read. There’re places you just shouldn’t be found in, because you’re different.

And if for any reason you find yourself in such places, you ought to go in there with godly piety. Yes, that’s the life

you’ve been called to live. Your presence in a place should exude and transmit the righteousness of God, for you’re a tree of righteousness, producing fruits of righteousness. Never lose sight of who you are; you’re different. You’re the symbol and embodiment of God’s glory, perfection, beauty, and righteousness.

See and carry yourself as such: always remember that “...you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC).

2 Peter 3:10-11, Psalm 1:1-3

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me your righteousness as a gift, and inspiring in me the consciousness to walk in a perfect state of piety. I live true to my nature and calling in Christ as I bear fruits of righteousness and inspire many by my piety to spiritual and godly activities, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Read and meditate on Matthew 5:48 and 2 Peter 1:5-7.

POVERTY IS OUT THE WINDOW

TO THE BIBLE 2 Corinthians 8:9 TLB“You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich.”

LET’S TALK

Wednesday, January 27

After you’re born again, poverty becomes completely unacceptable in your life. I know

there’re people who believe Christians ought to be poor, but that’s due to their lack of understanding of the Scriptures. Poverty is not the absence of money, or other required necessities of life; it’s actually the disabling of a man’s mental prowess. It’s that state where a person’s mind shuts down, and that person believes that he or she can’t do anything to change his state. But that’s not the case with the one who’s born again and lives by the Word; it’s impossible for such a person to walk in penury. The Christian is an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.

All the wealth in this world belongs to you if you’re born again. Once you accept this truth in your spirit, and allow it dominate your thinking, it’ll give you a new mind-set. It’ll be impossible for you to walk in lack. The Bible says Jesus became poor so that we, through His poverty, might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). He took upon Himself, not only the sins of the world, but also the effects of sin,

one of which is poverty. This is the reason every Christian must reject poverty.

Nevertheless, poverty by choice, or deprivation by persecution is acceptable. A Christian may walk poor, and live poor because of ignorance, but he’s not poor, for he actually has an inheritance in Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours.” Therefore, refuse and reject the down life; don’t live as a victim.

2 Peter 1:2-3; Psalm 23:1-2

Dear Father, you’re gracious and kind. I thank you for making me a joint-heir with Christ; the world belongs to me. All things are mine, and nothing good is withheld from me. I dwell in the realm of superabundance, where I’m graciously supplied with every good thing. My life is a manifestation of your love and grace; thank you, Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WHO ARE THE GOD-MEN?

TO THE BIBLE Romans 8:14“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

(Jesus Christ, The Son Of God, Is God In Human Flesh)

LET’S TALK

Thursday, January 28

A friendly conversation ensued between the Care Group leader and his members as they sat down to

lunch together.“Who do you reckon is the best superhero in the world?”

Erik, the Care Group leader, started.“That’s easy: it’s Ironman or Superman,” Adrian said.“No, it’s Wonder woman,” Leona replied. When Erik was asked his own response to the question,

he simply said, “It’s the Lord Jesus, because all the ones you’ve mentioned are fictional, but Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, the God-man is real!”

The expression “sons of God” isn’t a description of parental or ancestral relationship. For example, when we say, “Jesus Christ is the Son of God,” what that means is that Jesus Christ is the “God-man.” That’s why when Jesus told the Jews He’s the Son of God, they wanted to stone Him to death. They understood what He meant; He said, “I’m the God-man,” which means “God in human flesh.”

The Jews knew what He meant because they said, “How can you, a man, make yourself equal with God?” for that, they were ready to kill him because, in their religious minds, that was blasphemy. They understood He wasn’t just talking about his

birth parents, for they already knew Mary was his mother and assumed Joseph was his father. Jesus became the ‘firstborn’ of the Father when He was raised from the dead, and the Father said to Him, “…You are My Son, today I have begotten You” (Acts 13:32,33; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 1:5, 6).

That’s why the Bible says that Jesus heads up the new creation. He’s called the “first” and not the “only” begotten from the dead because of the rest of us! When He died on the cross, He was our representative; we all died in Him. When God raised Him up, we were raised in Him. Thus, in Christ, you’re the god-man. Psalm 82:6 says, “I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.”” This was a prophetic language because we’re born of the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. Hallelujah!

2 Peter 1:4; 1 John 4:17

Dear Father, thank you for the consistent education and training of my spirit through your Word. By the power of the Holy Spirit at work in me, I take my place, and fulfil my ministry as the god-man in my world, and I declare that only the righteousness of God prevails in my environment, in Jesus’ Name. SEIZE ETERNAL LIFE

TO THE BIBLE 1 Timothy 6:12“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

(Walk In And Hold The Consciousness Of Eternal Life)

LET’S TALK

Friday, January 29

The underlined portion of our opening scripture, as rendered in the Greek, is “epilambanomai.” It

means to take hold of something without letting go. Here, the Apostle Paul says, “Don’t just be aware that you have eternal life; seize eternal life; take possession of it.” In other words, don’t let it be mere theoretical knowledge to you. Someone may be singing, “I’ve got the life of God in me…” but he’s not walking in the consciousness of that life, nor acting like it. Every now and then, he gripes, “You know, I’ve had this migraine headache that has been with me for fifteen years.” No one who’s taken hold of eternal life talks like that.

Eternal life is the God-life; it’s incorruptible. It can’t be tainted, defiled, or corrupted by sickness, disease, failure, death or the devil. It’s the divine life. You might be praying, “Oh God, please take away this sickness from me”; that may not change anything. You might say, “But God says ‘I’ll take sickness away from among you’”; He already did that in Christ Jesus. In God’s eyes, you’re already perfect, even though you might be going through trials, pains, and difficulties.

To Him, you’ve been perfected in Christ Jesus. He 70 71

sees you the way He sees Jesus. In His sight, there’s nothing wrong with you. Therefore, align yourself with His thoughts and visions, through the Word, and declare, “I’m perfected in Christ Jesus; I refuse to accommodate any sickness, disease or pain in my body because I have the life of God in me! I’ve taken hold of eternal life.”

You’re an associate of the God-kind; the life and nature of God have been imparted into your spirit. Now that you’re born again, you have eternal life in you. You’re not going to have it after you’ve prayed and struggled to please God. It’s in your spirit now! Live in this consciousness and be who you are in Christ.

1 John 1:1-2; 1 John 5:11-13

I’ve taken a hold of eternal life. Therefore, it doesn’t matter the trials, pains, and difficulties in the world, I’m unperturbed because I live in, and by, the Word of God. My life is the revelation of the graces and realities of the Word! I live triumphantly over sickness, disease, Satan, and the systems of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PREACH TO “EVERY CREATURE”

TO THE BIBLE Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.””

(Proclaim The Word ToEverything Around You)

LET’S TALK

Saturday, January 30

“What are you doing, Mum?” Rebecca screamed as she saw her Mum pointing and speaking

words.“I’m talking to the things in the house,” her Mum replied.“I can see that; why? Isn’t it strange to do so?”“No, it’s perfectly normal to do so; didn’t the Lord talk to

fish, bread, wind, trees, and water? Didn’t they all obey Him? Since they did, the things I’ve spoken to will obey me too!”

Jesus didn’t send us to preach the Gospel to human beings only; He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” That’s quite instructive. It means you can proclaim the Word to anything and everything around you, because everything in life has intelligence. Everything God made can hear and recognise His voice. Jesus proved this true (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21)!

Perhaps your car has been grounded; if you’d talk to it; if you’d release words of power to that car, before long, it’ll be back on the road. Maybe your house and everything in it is getting old, you can call forth a renewal. Simply declare, “House, in the Name of Jesus, you’re renewed.” Walk through the rooms and prophesy that new furniture, decorative items, electronics, etc., are coming in the Name of Jesus!

72 73

Matthew 21:1-32, Exodus 18-19

ONE YEAR

Acts 13:42-52, Job 30-31TWO YEAR

Many haven’t come to that point of prophesying and speaking the Word to everything around them; so they complain. Don’t complain; proclaim the Word. Maybe you only have one pair of shoes; instead of complaining to God about it, declare, “I invoke the blessing of God on this shoe, to bring forth a harvest.” Then, give it to God as an offering. Before long, you’ll have more than enough shoes for yourself and to give as gifts to others.

You might ask, “Is it really that simple?” Sure it is! The principle is clear (John 12:24). Proclaim the Word to your seed; your money and the things you own. Say, “You’re coming back in a multiplied harvest, in the Name of Jesus; I release you with the blessings of God.” Don’t cry for the lack of money; don’t cry about something you don’t have; put the principles in God’s Word to practise and you’ll surely have a testimony!

Mark 11:23; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Hebrews 13:5-6

Dear Father, thank you for making my life like a well-watered garden; I’m fruitful and productive always, and at all times. Everything and everyone that’s connected to me experiences the grace of God and responds to the influence and beauty that your righteousness produces, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Proclaim the Word over the things you own today.

A VORACIOUS WORD APPETITE

TO THE BIBLE Acts 20:32 NASB“And now I entrust you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”

(Study God’s Word Till It Gets Into Your Spirit, Soul And Body)

LET’S TALK

Sunday, January 31

The Word of God gives you much more than a moral code of conduct; it builds, lifts, transforms

you and catapults you to your inheritance and destiny in Christ. Proverbs 11:9 tells us that through knowledge—revelation knowledge of God’s Word—shall the just be delivered into their inheritance. Thus, you have to know the Word, store it in you, and consciously put it to work in your life. That’s your guarantee of a life of ever-increasing glory.

The Bible says, “...All things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21); that means there’s nothing you require today that hasn’t already been made available to you by God’s Word. This is one reason you must meditate on the Word. Become voracious in your passion, hunger, and appetite for the Word. There’s no way of appropriating the blessings of God to your life without the accurate knowledge of the Word. We win, excel, and prevail over the challenges of life through, and with the Word. The more you study and meditate on the Word, the more inspired and excited you get about the life in Christ.

Matthew 21:33-22:1-14, Exodus 20-21

ONE YEAR

Acts 14:1-7, Job 32-33TWO YEAR

The knowledge of God’s Word gives you an undeniable conviction about the transcendent life of victory, righteousness, success, and dominion that Christ has brought to us! Your victory is in the Word of God, so study it to know it, for only through the knowledge will you discover and enjoy your glorious inheritance in Christ. Study the Word for what it does in your spirit. The Word in you goes into your spirit, soul, and body, and becomes part of your being; making you what it talks about.

When you ingest and digest the Word, it becomes one with your spirit, thereby enhancing and improving the quality of your personality. Bombard your mind with the Word of God, until it completely inundates your thinking, and your life will go in one direction only: upward and forward!

2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Peter 1:23

Dear Father, as I study and meditate on the Word today, my heart receives it with joy, faith, and meekness, knowing that my life is being built and my destiny shaped in line with your perfect will for me. My life is for your glory and beauty because of the power and influence of your Word in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Study and meditate on Acts 20:32.
