Last year as the "Castleton Strategic Revitalization Plan" was working towards its conclusion, it was apparent that a key element of this plan (or study) was to address the clear need to fix the traffic congestion problem on E. 82nd Street west of I-69. The solution to fixing the traffic problem on E. 82nd depends largely on having some of the traffic from I-69 to E. 82nd be able to take an alternate route. The conspicuous solution (as captured in this report) is to get an exit ramp from I-69 to E. 86th Street. It is extremely unfortunate that the Clear Path 465 Project would move forward without an exit ramp that would allow south bound I-69 traffic to exit to E. 86th Street. Other on/off ramps at I-69 and E. 86th Street and an overpass could be completed at a future date. George M.
