ROMANCE & REMEMBRANCE

Inspired by journeys to thepast, filled with romance and intrigue. Whether traveling the Trans-Siberian railway or the Silk Road to studying the rich tapestry of historical details through Renaissance to Medieval times, Romance and Remembrance returns to color and design that is familiar, with a modern day twist.


Bringing emotion back into design, whether subtle or dramatic. A mash-up of historical proportions in design including late Renaissance, Neoclassical, Medieval, and North African Design. Looking back into the annals of history for influence and inspiration. It’s all in the details.

• Spring/Summer 2014 fashion — influence of pleats, sheer fabrics, transparency.

• Fall/Winter 2014 fashion runways influenced by time period dress of Medieval and time period dress including armor, ruffles, and Elizabethan dress.

2015:WHERE COLOR IS EVOLVING• ORANGES ARE LESS TRENDY AND TURN WARM AND DEEP WITH RUST AND

COPPER LEADING.

• YELLOW IS HIGHLIGHTED IN AMBER, OCHRE, GOLD METALLIC OR MUSTARD.

• GREENS PUSH FORWARD INTO BOTTLE GREEN, DARK OLIVE, MOSS, AND LICHEN AS MINT, MALACHITE AND EMERALD LESSEN. GREENS ARE MORE COMPLEX AND IN COOL MID-TONES AS WELL AS DEEP HUNTER GREEN, CELADON, APPLE AND TONED-DOWN CHARTREUSE.
