Since then females have been purchased from all of the top flocks in Ireland and across the UK including Limestone, Crewelands, Burnview, Forkins, Blackstown, Carony, Balquhain, Cairness, Benedyglen, Castleisle & Shannagh, Errigal, Convoy, Carragh, Clyda, Annakisha & Blackwater, Kilbeg, Beechbrook, Ballynacannon, Barrowlands, Deburca, Solwaybank, Claycrop, Finnvale, Ivybrook, Bridgeview and Kirriemuir. The continued addition of these new and exciting genetics allows us to offer for sale females of a very high standard. All in lamb ewes in this sale are served by Kells T-Rex Supreme Champion Blessington 2020 and Crewelands Frontline purchased in Lanark 2020 for 12000gns. Both these top sires have bred February and March lambs with Kells T-Rex lambs selling to 6000gns and Crewelands Frontline lambs selling to 2000gns. Really looking forward to their progeny in January 2022.

The Kells Suffolk Flock maintains its position achieving top averages at the premier show and sales and sheep Ireland sales over the past decade.

It Is always a pleasure to see ewes purchased at our previous female sales breeding well for other breeders. An in-lamb gimmer   purchased by Shannagh  at   our previous female sale in 2014 bought for €800gns, went on the breed a gimmer sold at the Black Beauties sale in Blessington for €3,300gns.

Ivybrook Suffolks Ivybrook Suffolks was established in 2015 with ewes from the leading flocks at the time. Since then, we have continued to add females purchased across Ireland and UK from leading flocks with the best bloodlines available in the breed today. Females have been purchased for 6,000gns and 3,000gns twice from Limestone. Last year saw the addition of a 6,000gns gimmer from Shannagh. Other leading purchases came from Forkins, Burnview, Mullinvale, Barrowlands, Roundacre, Annakisha, Blackwater, Clyda, Carony, Cairness and Summerhill. Due to college and work commitments, we are offering females for sale which would otherwise be retained.

AUCTIONEER’S CONDITIONS OF SALE1. The stock will be exposed according to the lots and numbers in the following catalogue

and the highest offer on each lot will be preferred to the purchaser.

2. The pedigree and description of the lots are believed to be correct, but are not intended as a warranty and therefore shall be taken with all the faults and errors of description.

3. All animals are at the risk of the vendor before sale and at the risk of the purchaser after the sale.

4. The service dates, while believed to be correct, cannot however, be guaranteed.

5. The auctioneers reserves the right to accept bids from a vender and they reserve on behalf of themselves and of the vendor the following rights:

a) To bid on behalf of a vendor c) To rearrange, consolidate or withdraw any lots or vary the order of sale and d) Without giving any reason therefore, to refuse to accept the bids of any person.

6. All sheep will be sold in euros (€)

7. The person making the highest accepted bid shall be the purchaser

The purchaser shall, if and when required, give his name and address to the Auction-eers, and shall if required, pay to the Auctioneers the purchase money for each lot at the fall of the hammer, or so soon thereafter as the Auctioneer may require.

10. Purchasers paying by cheque must be prepared, if required, to produce a bankers reference.

11. No lots shall be removed from the sale premises until a written delivery order has been given by or on behalf of the Auctioneers.

12. Each lot shall, at the purchaser’s expense, be removed from the sale premises within a reasonable time after the close of sale.

13. All statements in the catalogue or made by the auctioneer at the time of sale relating to any animal are believed to be correct. No sale shall be invalidated by reason of any defect or faults in any of the animals by reason of any of the animals being incorrectly described in the catalogue, or by the Auctioneer in the ring, and no compensation what-ever shall be paid in respect of any faults or errors of description.

14. All ewes and shearlings are sold as having being scanned in lamb unless otherwise stated. No guarantee beyond that date can however, be given in this regard.
