The requirement for the lndian Overseas Bank consists of the following,

To carry out the "ClVlL WORKS AT ADAIAN BSNL EXCHANCE,S{IRA I " in terms ofthe tender conditions, specifications of works, drawings, Bill of Quantities etc.

The work include,

BRANCH'S PREMISES

2. Generol

The contractor shall be responsible for any pilferage, loss or theft of furritirr..-.electrical equipments or any other articles from the said premises and shall makegood any loss or damage caused to the Bank on this account.

The contractor shall also be responsible for any damage that wouid be caused by

contractor or his men during the time the premises are under the custody of thecontractor, The contractor shall make good the damage caused, as per directionsof the Bank, to the satisfaction of the Bank.

The contractor shall not use the infrastructure provided by the Bank for any otherpurpose than the Bank's use without the permission of the Bank.

Vii. The bidder whose contract in the past was terminated by theemployer due to unsatisfactory performance, will not be eligible forparticipating in the tendering process. Similarly, a bidder r,vhodiscontinued the contract before its expiry or failed to commenrethe service after award of contract will also be rrot eligible forparticipating in the tendering process. Tenders must be accompaniedwith declaration to this effect on letterhead of the bidders.

It may be noted that documentary evidence in respect of first sixitems are essential. For the last item declaration letter is a must.Tenders not accompanied by any one of the above would render the

Payment for the said iob will be made only after successful completion of work andtechnical clearance from Bank's empanelled Architect.

Stage 3: Site lnspection:The Bank, at its discretion, may inspect sites of work of thoseprospective bidders (who have qualified Stage 2 of Pre-Qua lifica tion ), forfurther shortlisting, depending upon the number of eligible bidders, asdecided by Competent Authority of Bank. For this purpose, only thosesites of the eligible bidders which qualify the Pq criteria Icriteria no. (vir)of Stage z] alone shall be inspected.

The applications qualifying Stage 3 (or Stage 2 incase Bank decides not to have Stage
