WHEREAS by "The Transfer of Land Act, 1893, Amendment Act, 1896" (60 Viet., No. 22), the Governor is empowered, by Proclamation in the Government Gazette, to revert in His Majesty, as of his former estate, all or any lands whereof His Majesty may become the registered proprietor: And whereas His Majesty is now the registered proprietor of Lot 76 of Swan Loca-tion 28, registered in the Office of Titles in Volume 347, Folio 5: Now therefore 1, the said Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do by this Proclamation revert in His Majesty, his heirs and suc-cessors, Lot 76 of Swan Location 28 aforesaid, as of his former estate.

The Control of Trade in War Time Act.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Executive Council Chamber, at Perth, the 8th day of September, 1915.

WHEREAS by the Control of Trade in War Time Act it is provided that the Governor, on the advice of the Royal Commission appointed under the said Act, may, by Order in Council, fix the maximum price that may be lawfully charged for the necessaries of life: And whereas it is desirable to fix the maximum price of Milk in the Metropolitan Area: Now, therefore, His Excel-lency the Governor, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, Both hereby fix the maximum price to be charged for fresh milk in the Metropolitan Area as follows:—Wholesale: Maximum selling price to be charged by producers to retailers or distributors, ls. 2d. (One shilling and twopence) per gallon, delivered at any railway station within the said area. Retail: Maximum selling price to be charged by retailers or distributors to consumers, within the said area, 61/2 d. (Sixpence halfpenny) per quart. The conditions of trade as existing on the 1st August,, 1915, shall not lie

varied without the consent of the Royal Commission appointed as aforesaid, on application made to the Com-mission in that behalf. For the purposes of this Order the Metropolitan Area means any land situated within twelve miles of the• General Post Office, Perth.

This Order shall come into operation on the 13th day of September instant

WHEREAS by Section 43 of "The Laud Act, 1898," it is made lawful for the Governor, by Order in Council, without issuing any deed of grant to place any Reserve under the control of any Municipality, Road Board, or other person or persons, as a Board of Management, and to empower such Board to make, repeal, and alter by-laws for the control and management of such Reserves, and prescribe fees for depasturiug thereon, and for other purposes, such by-laws! to he approved by the Governor and published in the Government Gazette: And whereas it is deenied expedient that Reserve 16121, for Gravel Reserve, at Kwobrup, should be placed under the control of Katituning Road Board as a. Board of Management: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Gov-ernor, by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-tive Council, cloth hereby place the before-mentioned Reserve under the control of Katanning Road Board as a Board of Management, and cloth empower such Board to make, repeal, or alter by-laws for the control and management of the said Reserve, for prescribing fees for depasturing thereon, for directing the manner in which such fees shall be imposed, paid, collected, and disposed of, and to impose penalties not exceeding in any case £5 for any breach thereof, and £2 a day for a- continuing breach, but not more. than £20 in lie aggre-gate.

IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the areas scheduled hereunder will be made available for selection under " The Land Act, 1898," and its amend-ments, on and after the dates set out in said schedule. The selector of a Homestead Farm from any location available under Part VIII. must take the balance thereof under Conditional Purchase, and a selector of a portion of any location available under Part VI. must take the balance of same under Grazing Lease Conditions.

The lands marked with an asterisk are available under Part VI.

Applications must be lodged at the Local Land Office for the district in which the land is situated.

Any application may be lodged before the fixed date, but will be treated as having been received on that day; if there are more applicants than one for any lot the application to be granted will be determined by the Land Board, and should any lands remain unselected such will continue available until applied for or other-wise dealt with.

Laud specified as carrying an Agricultural Bank advance which is situated within 15 miles of a railway or authorised railway is available subject to the special conditions that an expenditure of not less than one-fourth of the amount set out shall be made on prescribed improvements in each of the first four years of the lease; but this shall not release the holder from any covenant in the Agricultural Bank Mortgage requiring the im-provements to be made at an earlier date. Such advance is subject to the usual conditions governing a loan from the Agricultural Bank, particulars of which may be had on application to the Managing Trustee. MUNICIPALITY OF COOLGARDIE.

The Municipal Corporations Act, 1906. Proposed Loan of Five Hundred Pounds.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Muni-cipality of Coolgardie propose to borrow the sum of Five hundred pounds (E500), to be raised pursuant to the powers contained in 'I he Municipal Corporations Act, 1906," to be expended for the purpose of improv-ing the Municipal Gardens upon Endowment Lands, and to be called "The Gardens Improvement Loan."

And further, that the plans and specifications and the estimate of such works and undertakings (being the said Municipal Gardens and the cost of maintaining the same) and a statement showing the proposed expenditure of money to be borrowed, have been prepared, and are open to the inspection of ratepayers at the office of the Council. Town Ball, Coolgardie, for one mouth from date of publication hereof, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on week-days (Saturdays excepted), on which latter day the office will be closed at 12 o 'clock noon.

The amount of £500 is proposed to be raised by the sale of debentures bearing interest at not more than six (6) per centrun per annum; such interest to be pay-able half-yearly, and the said debentures to be repayable on the first day of ;January, 1919, and all such interest and debentures to be repayable at the Town Hall, Cool-gardie.
