    12. Preparations preserved several typesof animal cells

Working procedures1. Slice the onion lengthwise

    2. Drops with methylene blue and cover with glass cover

    3. Observe under a microscope with a magnification of weak first, and then a new morepowerful magnification

    4. Pictures and give descriptions.

    5. Do well on cork cassava, carrots,Rhoeo discolor6. For preparations preserved several types of animal cells, directly observed under the

    B. Observing animal cells

    Working procedures

    1. Provide glass preparations, then the pipette, drops with a drop of water

    2. Incised in the walls of the oral cavity using a blunt toothpick3. Apply the results of these scratches on the glass slide that has been poured the

water, then cover with glass cover.

    4. To appear more clearly, with a drop of methylene blue5. Observe under a microscope with a magnification of weak first, and then a new

    more powerful magnification

    6. Pictures and give descriptions these observations.

    Conclusion

Plants and animal cells commonly have equal size. The difference between both

depend on their outer layer. The most outer layer of animal cell is cell membrane,

meanwhile the most outer layer of plant cell is cell wall. Beside that, in cytoplasmplant cell contain plastid particularly chloroplast (use photosynthesis process) that

there is not on animal cell.
