How to Install an HSDPA USB Modem

An HSDPA USB modem is a small external device that allows a computer with a USB port to connect to high-

speed 3G wireless networks. 3G networks are high-speed networks often maintained by cellular service

providers to allow cell phone handsets to access the Internet. The modem connects to a computer's available USB port and is sometimes supplied by the cell phone

service provider that the user has signed up with for 3G network access.

    Instructions

Things You'll Need, computer with USB 2.0 port

    1. Purchase an HSDPA USB modem. These modems are often available directly from the cell phoneservice provider, packaged in a bundle pack when a person signs up for a plan that allows access to the

network. Modems may also be found at certain electronics stores for between US$50 to $100.

    2. Sign a contract or activate a 3G network plan with a service provider. Some companies that providethis service include Vodaphone, T-Mobile and Movistar. The service may not be available in all

countries.3. Turn on the computer and plug the HSDPA modem into an available USB port. If the modem came with

a 3G package from a provider, the software is already installed on the device. The device will self-

install the needed software on any Windows-based PC.

    4. The modem is compatible with Mac OSX systems and Linux systems. Read the included instructions todetermine if a download of additional software is needed for non-Windows systems.

    5. Use the modem to access high-speed Internet connections through the service provider's cellular 3Gnetwork. There is no need to purchase a separate wireless router or modem.

    Tips & Warnings

It can be more cost effective to obtain the modem through a bundle package sold through a cellular service

provider rather than purchasing a modem from a retail store.

Some HSDPA modems sold from a service provider may be locked units, much like some service

providers sell locked cell phones and PDAs. This means that locked modems will only function on the network

    for which they were purchased.

    Assalamualaikumwrwb.

With all due respect to the honorable judges representing, to all of the teachers here attending, and to all of the audiences, ladies and

    gentlemen, good morning everyone!

First of all, let us thank Allah SWT which because of His blessings, we all can gather here on this event. Shalawat and prayer we will

say to our greatest prophet, Muhammad SAW, his family, his friends, and all of his followers. Amien!

In this chance I would like to tell you my speech about the Indonesian 66 years Independence Day.In 66 years this nation has

tasted its freedom. Struggle after struggle had been done to obtain this freedom. Sweat and blood had been sacrificed by our heroes, our people, so that the freedom could be realized. In 63 years, Indonesia has celebrated the Independence Day. With honor, with joy,

with happiness, and with the breeze of freedom right in our heart. And in 66 years already, we have built this country. In sadness and

happiness, in hope and despair, in fate and love.

Yes, 66 years. In that length of time Indonesia should have grown up in many situations. In that length of time this country should

have become one fabulous country and one of the biggest nation with the ric hness of its cultures. But its sad, so sad to see our

Indonesia here nowadays where the civilians are poor, hungers in everywhere, corruption is in charge, our economy is getting worst

day by day. In that length of time Indonesia should have not face any of those problems. Then why? Why the Land of Ibu Pertiwi that

we loved so much is, becoming like this?!

Many said that all of this is the fault of the government. Clean the government so that the nation will be cleaned. Thats wh at

civilians said. In other side, the government accused civilians because of their lack of nationalism. Both of them were not wrong. They

were right! The government should be cleaned from the corruption culture. Not only in the central governance, but also the regional

governance till its roots. Meanwhile, the civilians these days are not really care about the condition of their very own country,

especially young generations like us. The nationalism of Indonesian youth nowadays is extremely low. You see many Indonesian

youngsters who cant say the sound of Pancasila, many who cant say the sound of SumpahPemuda, many who cant say the openings

of the 1945s constitutions, and even so many youngsters who gets lazy when it comes to flag ceremony attending in their school. Hello

youngsters of Indonesia?! Where is your nationalism?!

Our countrys hope lies on our backs. Knowing that, we as the line of our nation must plant nationalism character, eastern ru les,

and the cultures of Indonesia. Long time ago, this country has felt its independence because of young generations. This country has

been saved by the ordebaru era because of young generations. So as the young generation, dont always think of your own happiness.

People said that as long as were still young, just do as you will and be happy with it. Thats a lie! Thats wrong! As long as were still

young, do everything useful for our surroundings. Take example of Indonesian youth long time ago where their struggling spirit is

extremely high, they have high dedication to Pancasila, and they have strong wills and visions.

In this 66 years Independence Day we should think. Think of how our country should be in the future. Indonesia now is very sick.

Very very sick. But yet every sickness has medicines. May all of the ordeals we felt make us stronger, better, and even wiser to face the

problems. Let us all change the face of our nation, because if its not us, then who will?

    So, MERDEKA INDONESIA!!

    Wabilahitaufikwalhidayahwassalamualaikumwrwb.

Today we celebrate the 63rd Independence Day of our great Nation. On this joyous occasion I convey my

greetings and good wishes to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and pray for peace, progress and prosperity in

    the State.

On this auspicious day, 62 years ago, India attained freedom from colonial rule and the people of

our country became the masters of their destiny. Over six decades have since gone by while it would be useful

to look back and assess how far we have traveled on the path to building a strong, united and prosperous

India, it would be profitable to also look ahead and determine new goals.

All in all, the past 62 years have been momentous. Despite serious challenges on varied fronts,

including several attacks on the territorial integrity of India, we have been able to keep the flame of democracy

burning bright. And, today, India is looked upon as the largest and most vibrant democracy in the world.

Thanks to the firm foundations laid by the first generation of our visionary leaders, and thanks to the strong

resolve and sustained hard work of our people, our country has been able to secure significant achievementsin different spheres of growth and development. In recent years India has been well known the world over for

its signal achievements in several fields, particularly in the arena of Information Technology. And perhaps our

biggest achievement has related to harmonizing our invaluable cultural heritage and traditional values with

science, technology and a liberal and modern approach to life. Truly, the story of India has been the story of

    change with continuity.

In the odyssey of nation building, Jammu & Kashmir has also marched ahead. Notwithstanding the

scars of militancy on the beautiful landscape of our State, the people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve to be

congratulated for having boldly confronted the subversive and divisive forces with their abiding commitment

to peace and democracy. While the militant activities have been brought down significantly, the State cannot

afford to lower its guard. Also, the gains of peace need to be further consolidated through developmental

    initiatives which are people-driven.

With an all time high annual plan allocation of rupees 5500 crore for the current year, rupees 1200

crore under the Prime Ministers Reconstruction Plan and access to Centrally Sponsored Schemes valuing

about rupees 1900 crore, a most exciting opportunity has become available for the State Government topropel the State to a much higher growth trajectory.

It must, however, be noted that the large scale of resources which have become available to the

State this year would not yield the envisaged outcome unless the governmental machinery functions with

speed, efficiency and honesty to ensure timely implementation of various important schemes and

programmes. If there are gaps between what the people have been promised and what is actually delivered to

them, the State shall suffer a serious loss of opportunity and, besides, understandable dissatisfaction and

further loss of peoples trust in the establishment. It is, therefore, of crucial importance to ensure that the

entire focus of the developmental effort results in bringing about a qualitative change in the lives of the

common people, on a continuing basis.

The people of Jammu & Kashmirs vigorous participation in the Assembly Elections last winter, and

in the Parliamentary Elections which followed soon thereafter, has demonstrated their deep commitment to

the democratic process and, besides, a serious yearning for better governance, particularly in regard to the

resolution of their day-to-day problems and prompt redressal of grievances.

In the aforestated context, it is necessary to recognize that it would not be possible for the State

administrative apparatus to timely and efficiently implement various projects unless there is sustained

normalcy. Needless to observe, the politics of divisiveness and negativism shall result in seriously disrupting

the growth process on all fronts, eroding both individual and institutional performances. It is, therefore, the

foremost responsibility of the elected representatives of the people, irrespective of the political party to which

they belong, to engender a stable political environment which fosters communal harmony, peace and

normalcy. It is equally important to ensure that the Legislature is able to meaningfully deal with its business,

providing an orderly atmosphere for dispassionate and bipartisan discussions on important issues of

governance which would compel the Executive to deliver honest and efficient governance.

Jammu & Kashmir is not a mere physical mixture of diverse geo-climatic zones inhabited by peoplebelonging to varied ethnic groups. With its three distinct regions, and several sub regions, and the people who

live in them, J&K is an integrated whole whose composite identity, which evolved over centuries past, must be

preserved and protected. It is equally necessary that, at all costs, we maintain communal and regional

harmony and the bonds of unity amongst the people of all the regions of the State. Peace and communal

harmony must not only be maintained but also systematically nurtured and progressively strengthened. I

would appeal to each and every citizen of the State to be an active stakeholder in the extremely important task

of deepening and widening the process of harmonization and synthesis through mutual respect and

accommodation for each others sensitivities, concerns and beliefs.

Given the fortunate availability of sizeable financial allocations, and the vast unexploited potential

of each of the three regions of the State, it is extremely important that the governmental machinery works

with visible efficiency and honesty to timely achieve the targeted developmental goals. I call upon Sh. Omar

Abdullah, J&Ks young and dynamic Chief Minister, and members of his Cabinet, the near four lakh public

servants comprising the administrative machinery, and all the people of the State, to join hands in taking

Jammu & Kashmir rapidly on the path of growth and development and making it an abode of lasting peace and

tranquility, for which it has been known for centuries and centuries past.

Once again, on the day of our Independence, I greet the people of Jammu & Kashmir and wish all of

them a very bright and happy future.
