REACTION TIME

ABSTRACT Practicum with the topic "reaction time" aims to measure reaction time and understand the use of reaction time in daily life - today. The reaction time is the time between giving stimulus to the onset of the response to the stimulus. The reaction time parameters used for performance measurement. Including That Affect job performance levels of fatigue, the condition of motivation, boredom, concentration, and other human psychological condition. This would result in a different reaction between the conditions with other conditions.

This practicum included in the study with the method of observation, the research done by observation. In this lab, observers also serves as the object of observation (probandus), so that in addition to reaction time observation made friends group also made observations on with yourself. In the experiment the reaction time, the practitioner measure reaction time of several stimuli, namely their sense of touch, sound and light stimuli stimuli.

The results showed that the reaction time of each person is different, and the reaction time to a touch faster stimulus than sound and light stimuli. The reaction time is affected by some of the most influential factot. Especially factor is the condition of the person.

ABSTRACT

Practicum with the topic "Hearing Acuity Test" This aims to understand the perception of sound and hearing acuity. Hearing is the perception of sound stimuli. Organs that play a role in the auditory system is the ear. The ear is the organ of hearing and also plays an important role in maintaining the balance. The role of the ear itself in the auditory system that receives sound waves, to distinguish the frequency and finally sending voice information into the central nervous system. Hearing acuity tests done to diagnose the presence of a disease in a hearing to be addressed further.

This practicum included in the study with the method of observation, the research done by observation / observation. In this lab, the observer (practice) observations of hearing acuity to watch, and a variety of hearing test is the method of Rinne, Weber, and Scwabach by using a tuning fork. As for the results of lab tests conducted by juxtaposing auditory acuity and distance towards the sound source and measure the distance hearing ear. The farther the distance produced the hearing is also getting better. In the test Rinne method positive result indicates normal hearing can hear sounds that probandus tuning fork vibration. In the method of Weber test results indicated a positive result with no occurrence of lateralization is all probandus can hear the sound of a tuning fork in both ears so that normal classified. From the test results on Schwabach methods all have the elongated Schwabach test results between the patient and the comparison's hearing is not the same, which means abnormal. Schwabach test is normal if between patient and comparisons hearing is same
