(SOD)
Shlomo Organization for Documentation is an independent, non-profit, civil organization
that provides services to all citizens without discrimination, and seeks to create a
community awareness of the concepts of human rights through the definition of these
concepts and the response to all cases of violations through monitoring, documentation
and raising awareness of the community about their rights and how to press for protection,
promotion, and respect of human rights, and develop visions to avoid the occurrence of
violations, to make early warnings before they occur, and to protect individuals whose
rights are violated. In addition, the organization addresses the legislations and laws that
violate the rights of individuals and groups, and it works to amend or repeal legislation
that does not meet the standards of international human rights and to act on proposing
draft laws to protect, promote and respect the rights of individuals and groups in general
through campaigns of advocating and defending human rights issues by adopting all
peaceful means and working to support individuals whose rights are violated, and to
continue to protect them and prevent subsequent violations.
The organization has followed-up, monitored and documented the crimes committed
against Christians by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) since 2003, in particular
after occupying their territories on 9/6/2014, with the aim of submitting the documents to
the national and international specialized authorities in order to rehabilitate, compensate
and protect the victims, and hold the criminals accountable and prevent the recurrence of
such crimes, which amount to a genocide.
3
The organization has communicated with many international organizations dealing with
human rights and genocide in order to convey what was documented to the relevant
national and international bodies, including In Defense of Christians (IDC), Organization
for the Defense of European Religions (ADF International), the Knights of Columbus,
the Genocide Monitoring Center in Washington DC, International Association of
Genocide Scholars, the International Association of Lawyers, and other local
organizations and related parties.
Shlomo Organization for Documentation has also held several conferences in Erbil,
Geneva and Brussels and several activities and workshops to promote the concept of
genocide and human rights, such as the workshop that was held in collaboration with the
World Association of Gynecologists, the Genocide Monitoring Center in Washington
DC, the International Association of Lawyers in Belgium and the University of
Philadelphia on 13-14 January 2017 at the Catholic University in Ankawa, Erbil.
The presenters included:
- Professor Gregory Stanton, head of the Genocide Monitoring Center in Washington DC.
3. Professor Elisa Yuden von Furkin, First Vice-President of the International Association
of Genocide Scholars and Professor at the University of Philadelphia, USA.
2. Doctor and jurist Irina Victoria Massimino, Secretary of the International Association
of Genocide Scholars and Professor at the University of Buenos Aires.
2. Legal expert Dr. Jan Vermon, Secretary-General of the International Association of
Democratic Lawyers from Belgium.

in addition to the participation of more than 100 people who were involved in the issues
of human rights and genocide of minorities, including the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian
people.
The lecturers discussed many of the experiences of peoples throughout history with
regard to the concept of genocide and consideration of the magnitude of the suffering and
tragedy suffered by the people of small components who have been subjected to genocide,
such as the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian people, the Yazidis, the Shabak, and the other
components in Sinjar and Nineveh Plain. The discussions also involved the mechanisms
for writing reports on genocide and how to activate this case for delivery to a competent
national court or the International Criminal Court.
Furthermore, the members of SOD had active participation in many workshops and
activities organized by international and local organizations.
SOD began its activities on 12 January 2016 by monitoring and documenting violations
and crimes committed against Christians Assyrian Chaldean Assyrians and Armenians in
their areas of residence in Mosul, Nineveh Plain, Sinjar (Shangal) and other areas in Iraq
by ISIS through its field teams that have traveled to many areas where displaced Christian
citizens have lived including camps, rented premises, caravans, unfinished buildings, etc.,
in order to keep a close eye on the scale of violations and crimes committed against them.
The results of the work carried out in monitoring and documenting violations for the
period starting from 21/1/2016 to 30/4/2017 has reached 11,584 families, which is about
50% of the total number of displaced Christian citizens. This field survey included the
camps in Erbil (City Center, Ozal City, Cihan Complex and Darwazah Complex), Town
of Ankawa (Town Center, 108 District, Karimles Complex, Ashti 1 Camp, Ashti 2 Camp,
Al-Amal Complex and Al-Karma Complex)
The survey also included the State of Lebanon and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
and several campaigns in the areas of the presence of displaced people in the Federal
Republic of Germany (and the work is still in progress). In addition, SOD has designed
the forms that document the violations and posted them on the organization's website to
be accessible to citizens whose rights have been violated by ISIS or other terrorist groups
for the purpose of registering, documenting and sending them electronically to the
organization through its website (www.shlomoo.org).
5
During the monitoring and documentation of the field teams, we found the following:
1 - There was a heavy turnout by the IDPs to testify about their sufferings, which are
considered flagrant violations to international standards of human rights.
2 - Most of the testimonies confirm that what they have been subjected to was a
continuation of what they were exposed to from April 2003 to the fall of Mosul in June
2014, because these events are regarded as interrelated and systematic series to lead them
to a genocide and to uproot them from their historical lands for the first time in history.
3. Many of them brought with them documents that would prove the violations they had
suffered through the official papers and CDs they had given to courts and police.
4 - Most of those who gave their testimonies have submitted individual testimonies in
addition to the forms provided by SOD.
5. The IDPs suffered from psychological disorders due to the blatant violations, sad
stories, and shocking events.
6. Most of the IDPs have been afflicted with hopelessness and unknown future, and do
not know whether to stay or emigrate, in addition to the feeling that they have been left
alone in this world to meet their inevitable fate.
7 – There is a collective demand to accelerate the liberation of their areas and to ensure
their return with the condition of providing international protection to ensure their future.
8 – There is need to provide relief aid to the IDPs and compensate them for the material
losses including thousands of houses, machinery, and industrial, commercial, agricultural
and professional projects in addition to the full seizure of their belongings, such as gold
and money, especially during their displacement and escape to the Kurdistan Region.
6
The following are some of the information that the organization has learned during
monitoring and documenting violations:
1 - The number of testimonies that have been listened to by the field teams of the
organization of documentation until the preparation of this report is 11584 families, that
is more than 32814 (thirty-two thousand eight hundred and fourteen) testimonies, not to
mention those of 16-year-olds. The testimonies were often presented by the head of the
family and his wife, a father and his son, or a mother with her son or daughter on behalf
of the family or in the presence of the whole family. This required a lot of listening, time
and effort in documenting all the criminal acts that they were exposed to.
2 – Most of the fugitives from ISIS are from Mosul, especially Nineveh plain, that is
about 95% of them, but there are also many who have submitted documents of the
violations they have gone through in other provinces such as the capital Baghdad, Basra,
Diyala and other governorates.
3 - The process of annihilation of the Christians took the course of an organized chase by
killing them on identity, abducting them or taking them as captives in the areas where
they inhabited. Even when some or all of the family members escaped, they would be
chased by those terrorist groups in the provinces to which they resorted. For example,
650 families from the Nineveh governorate were part of a mass annihilation after being
displaced to the Nineveh Plain the first time but were later chased by ISIS to receive the
same inevitable destiny.
7
4- A total of 11584 families were documented with identification documents, in addition
to identifying the methods of contacting them when needed or inquiring about any
information. The families were distributed as shown in Table (1):

ISIS and the Christians in Iraq: a case of genocide:
After the invasion of ISIS to the city of Mosul on 9 June 2014, they began to issue
instructions and ‘Fatwas’ on non-Muslims, especially Christians and Yazidis, so they
started cutting off the supplies and oil products from them in addition to dismissing them
from the government offices, and then on 17 July 2014 they issued their document
number 40 (17/ 7/2014 corresponding to 19 / Ramadan / 1435) in which they declared
"the Evacuation of Christians from the borders of the State of Caliphate no later than
Saturday, 21 / Ramadan / 1435 at 12 noon and after that date there would be only the
sword between us [ISIS] and them [the Christians]".
Thus ISIS started to show their ugly face as they set up the checkpoints to the Christians
in the streets to take all their money, gold and possessions, and even their identity papers.
They actually abused them in various ways and let them leave walking on foot, especially
on 18 July 2014 and the next day. Those who remained in the city where taken as captives
and slaves.
After that there was the following:
First: The bombing and targeting of Christian cities and villages in the Nineveh Plain
began with various weapons.
Second: this was preceded by cutting water and electricity from their sources, which were
under their control.
Third: cutting off oil and food products from Christians in Mosul and Christian villages
and cities in the Nineveh Plain.
Fourth: dismissing Christian employees from their offices in the city of Mosul.
Fifth: On 6 August 2014, a heavy bombardment of more than 500 mortar shells continued
on the town of Qaraqosh. Two children, David and Milad, and a 30-year-old woman,
Enaam, were martyred. Hundreds of shells fell on the city of Telkef leading to the
martyrdom of a young man, Lajin, in addition to wounding a number of citizens, the thing
which led to forcing citizens to exit and escape from the city, especially after the
withdrawal of security forces defending the Nineveh Plain areas.
Thus all the people withdrew with the creeping of ISIS on the regions and entering
Telkef, the first of the Christian towns, at nine o'clock on the evening of 6 August 2014.
11
After that ISIS also entered Batnaya, Baqufa, Mar Oraha and Telesquf. The citizens of
Sharafiya withdrew, too, and this was followed by withdrawal from the towns of the
Southern side of the Nineveh Plain starting from Baashiqa and Bahzani and then Bartila
and Karimlis. Finally, Qaraqosh (Baghdedi), the largest Christian city, also fell at 4:30
am on August 7, 2014, a thing which represented the beginning of the suffering and the
ongoing tragedy until this moment.
Tens of thousands of citizens crowded to escape from their homes, towns and villages
by all possible means, including walking on foot for tens of kilometers to be received in
the streets, gardens and churches of Kurdistan Region in Ankawa, Erbil, Duhok and
Sulaimaniyah, a miserable sight at temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius in that
season. Despite all the preparations made by Churches and Christian and governmental
organizations in the Kurdistan Region to embrace the IDPs, the tragedy was too great to
embrace. Thus for several days the children, the elderly and the women slept on the
ground without any covers, in the hope of a quick return to their home, but that dream
quickly faded with the length of the waiting period. So the tents and camps spread all
over the region because a big number of Christian families were displaced from Mosul
and its plain, as shown in Tables (2), (3) and (4):

Today, and after the liberation of the Christian regions in Neineveh and the Left
Coast of Mosul city and after the passing of two years of waiting and the eyes are
eager to return to their homes…. The civilization was destroyed and the symbols
were smashed and the witneses were burned and all the values were neglected and
the churches were violated and the sacred objects were violated and all human
rights have became nothing.
We as Shlomo Organization For Documentation and after documenting more than
(60%) of victims files, we were not surprised by the size of destruction and violation
that the Christian people have faced in Iraq because were are from the same
environment and place and we have faced the same targeting and we have lived the
same tragedy so we are witnesses to what has happened.
21
The situation after the liberation of Nieneveh Plain and the Left Coast of
Mosul city :

ISIS 6/June/2014 Mosul female 1984 K.M.A.Y 1
The Details
When the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant terrorist Organization (ISIS) entered
Mosul on 9/June/2014, we had a terrible feeling of fear and dismay. After three
months of my husband's disappearance, and because of being pregnant, I did not go
out to look for him. Later, after giving the birth of my son (M), I went out to look for
my husband. I entered one of the offices of (ISIS) terrorist Organization asking about
my husband (A.A.S), and after investigating with me, the one in charge told me that
my husband was not in their capture and I had not had a piece of information about
him. Then, the one in charge asked me about my name and a few other questions
seeing a tattoo of the cross on my hand and he asked me if I was a Christian who
went there to bomb herself. I said that I was there looking for my three-month missing
husband. Next, he compulsorily took me to Alyarmouk School, where there were
other girls. They put (30) girls in each of (12) classes. The majority of the girls was
Yazidis, Jarlaries and Christians and three guards used to watch us. In each break,
they gave us some food. In one of the bad nights, three foreign members of the
Organization, who spoke a language that we did not understand, entered the room in
which we were imprisoned choosing three girls. If, the speaker, a (11) year-old
Yazidi girl (L) and, another Christian girl (A). The forced us to have sex with them.
We resisted and begged them, but in vain. As for the under-age Yazidi girl, she had
a severe bleeding because of being a little girl, whose mother was lost, too. Eight
terrorists raped me, marrying and divorcing us in each time. That night was the most
horrible and worst night I have ever lived in my life for violating our humanity and
making us to live terrible and bad hysterical psychological condition. The rape
continued everyday and for many times. I remember the name of one of them, (F.Sh),
who always raped me. This was our situation for a long time until I knew that my
husband (A.A.S) was slaughtered and his body was thrown in Euphrates river. It
Happened that one of the guards of the School, which we were imprisoned in, was a
neighbor of mine. He asked me what had taken me there, his name was (A)
fromAlyarmook Quarter. He offered me help. I told him that the key of my house,
my young son (H), 11 years old, and my new born daughter were at the neighbor's.
He planned to meet me at the window of the class giving me a sheet of paper asking
for a ransom to save me, and this was at (12) midnight. I told him the place where I
had kept my gold so he went and took the key to the house and took my gold. At the
next morning, we found three buses each of (28) passengers. The buses were full
heading to an unknown destination at night. Then, we knew, from their speech, that
the place was the Syrian borders. I refused to cross to the Syrian side telling my
29
neighbor (A) that I was not staying in Syria for whatever it took. He agreed to put
me in the trunk of one of the cars. After had crossed a few checkpoints of the terrorists
and we arrive at Mosul and I was in a miserable condition. He dropped me off in one
of the streets. I took a taxi home. At home, I saw my two kids. I hugged them warmly
and eagerly. After that, I planned once again, with (A) to take me out to the safe
areas. At night, he took me to a place that I did not recognize. It was before
Christmas. The place was so dark and very cold. I carried my daughter (M) and
grabbed my son's hand (H). I was with a large group of families. We fled towards
Kurdistan Region borders. Then, we heard fire shooting from an unknown place and
that got me panicked and frightened that I lost control of grabbing my son's hand (H)
and due to the large number of people, I could not know where he was. I still do not
know what has happened to him until this moment. Eventually, we reached to a
placed controlled by Peshmarga. I live in a nervous and depressed psychological
condition because of losing, my son, my dignity, and honor as a human who had been
in capture of wild

Bartila 9/6/2014 ISIS
The Details
I am a Christian survivor from Bartila but my mother is from Qaraqosh. I was born in
2000 and I used to be a student at Bartila school. On that fateful day, at 3 am on
6/8/2014, few people remained in Bartila , including us when ISIS entered Bartila. I
was 14 years old then and my mother did not know anything about the events. We
stayed in Bartila for three days and we did not know about ISIS because we had stored
food and didn’t go out. On the third day I went out to go to church and saw a bearded
man wearing an Afghani suit. He went up to the roof of the church and started breaking
the crosses. Then one of them came out of the kindergarten next to the church and put
his gun on my chest. He said, "What are you doing here?" I said to him: I am a
Christian from Bartila. He started to announce the presence of a Christian at the
church. Two Muslim men came and asked me what I was doing there. I told them, I
was told to go to the church and from there we will be taken out of Bartila.
The next day, my mother and I went out to the main street of Bartila, which connects
it to the city of Mosul, in order to go to Erbil. I hired a Taxi and the driver told me that
he would take me to a place near Khazer, and on our way we encountered a checkpoint
of ISIS. They asked me where we were going. I said to Erbil, they asked me about our
religion and I said we are Christians. They ordered us to get out of the car and one of
them announced that there were Christians at the checkpoint. A car came and took us
to Mosul, Al-Quds sector. We met there with Afghans, Turks and Tunisians. I did not
31
know that they belonged to the Islamic state. They asked me and my mother to convert
to Islam but we refused. So they put us in prison and closed the door on us three days
and we urge them to open the door and provide us with food and water. I heard them
calling their commander Abu Abdullah Al-Askari, who came a big number of fighters.
Then Abu Khatab came with his sword and showed me a film of how he slaughtered
people and told me that these people did not convert to Islam, which was a direct threat,
and then a cleric called ‘Shar’ee’ came and took me to the second floor and asked me
why I do not become a Muslim. He said “If you become a Muslim, we'll give you a
lot of privileges and large amounts of cash and a car. I told him that I would not turn
to Islam. Then they killed one of the people in front of me, so we told them we would
convert to Islam, and we asked “what do you want us to say?” They said you need to
say the "Shahaada" and then they put us somewhere in Bartila. One of them used to
beat us severely in order to learn their religion. Then they moved us near Rashidiya
and put us in a house where we slept on the ground without a mattress until the next
day when one of the neighbors who were displaced from Salahaddin came and gave
us food and mattresses. After three days some ISIS members came to us to provide us
with our needs and knew that the neighbors helped us, so they took us and reproached
our neighbors and ordered them not to give us any need or help.
We spent six months in this house, and I did not go to the mosque. They came to us
and told us, if you did not come to the mosque for three prayers, we would slaughter
you, and If you do not come to the mosque one Friday, we will slap you 25 lashes.
They also ordered me to wear Qandahari dress and release my beard and hair. There
were informants giving reports that I do not go to the mosque, so they would take me
and hit me 25 lashes and shave my head. They also came to my mother, who had
epilepsy and would forget tomorrow what she learn today, and tortured her with large
needles of 4 inches length. Besides, they did not give my mother her medicines so we
had to buy them from the market. They asked me to swear allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-
32
Baghdadi. I told them that I was young and my mother has nowhere to go. Whenever
they knocked the door, my mother would cry and beg them not to take me to fight.
After that Abu Yasir came and told me that he would take me to Abu Bakr then to a
45-day military and ‘Sharia’ training. Then he tied my eyes and took me to the Qattan
Mosque in Mosul, the headquarters of the allegiance, and they said that this is a
Christian who does not accept to swear allegiance. Then they took me to the mosque
of the Saffar where they accepted me. Then they took me to Tallafar alone, and I had
to leave my mother facing her destiny alone and I did not know what I was going to
do. I found a group of people, old and young, training and expressing their allegiance
to the Caliph. They divided us into factions and we were assigned to live in a house
prepared for this camp (each seven trainees were put in a house). Then they brought
someone to teach us religion and Sharia for every faction. The teachers and trainers
were from Tallafar and I used to sit aside in the lesson and they were asking me why
I did that and I told them that I was slow to learn and actually did not have the ability
to learn. We remained this way for almost 20 days. I was thinking about my mother
whom I had to leave behind and what would happen to her. Then the prince of the
camp came along with a list of names of those who were not of benefit to them in order
to be taken to their homes. I was one of them so they decided to take me back home.
The camp's prince was named Abu Suhaib, who was a Saudi as I learned from the
camp. He said to me: "You are a Christian, not a Muslim." Then he said, "Wait for the
second car to take you to Mosul and from there to Bartila. After waiting, a taxi arrived
and took me to Sharekhan, where I spent 20 days out of a total of 45 days of the course.
The pressure of ISIS on us was great and then we decided to go and move to an area
close to Bartila. Then we learned that the army was carrying out military operations
and advancing from Khazer. So we turned into the area of Bazwaya near Bartila. I
forgot to mention that there were 16 Turks with me at the training camp.
33
One Friday I was going to Mosul and it was time for prayer, so everyone went to the
mosque but I stayed and did not go. Then an ISIS group saw me and asked why I did
not go to the mosque and I said I did not know prayer times. They took me to their
headquarters blindfolded and they said they would shoot me in the head and slaughter
me. Upon arrival I saw a large array of young people who were being lashed and they
thrashed me 25 lashes and shaved my head and said this is to force you to learn prayer.
I went back to Bazwaya where our neighbors helped us with amounts of money so I
gathered 150 thousand dinars, and I went to Mosul and bought a mobile and a laptop.
So I stayed at home all day because whenever they saw me, they would offend me and
call me a Christian Muslim. One day an ISIS member entered our home and saw me
using the laptop and the mobile and told me that I was trying to contact the army so he
broke the laptop and the mobile and they took me to their headquarters. When they
opened the Mobile, they found out that it did not have a SIM card but they still put me
in prison (which was a house of two floors, the second floor was a prison and the
ground floor was used as a court). I spent three days until they asked me about the case
then they contacted a person who took the mobile and opened it but did not find the
SIM. He asked me why I bought it and I said in order to have fun. Then they took to a
place where they whipped me 18 lashes (they were using a plastic tube) and my back
turned into a ‘piece of blood’.
They kept threatening and lashing me when I was in Bazwaya. Once a group came to
me and said they would marry me to one of the Yezidi or Christian captives but I
refused and told them that I was too young and not qualified to marry but they said in
Islam they look at a person's body and know whether he is qualified or not. So they
said that my body was eligible for marriage. Once again they returned and Abu Yasir
(Shariee) was with them to lead me to the court to marry to either a Christian or a
Yezidi and showed me a group of captive women who were put in two separate cages,
Christians and Yezidis of different ages, and I saw one of the Yezidis being taken from

her mother by force. She was crying and her mother was also crying bitterly and
severely. They took me to the judge and asked me to marry but I told them that I do
not wish to marry because I was young, so the judge decided that they should leave
me and not force me to get married. He was named Judge Hassan, and I later learned
that they dismissed him because he did not follow their instructions literally.
We stayed in the Bazwaya for a while. One day I went to Mosul, to Bab Al-tob area
and I saw that they put on the roof of the former Oruzdi building two people worn in
red and then they threw them from the roof of the building. During my travels in the
city of Mosul I also saw women being stoned for adultery. One day I saw something
even more horrible: they brought down five children from a Kia station wagon dressed
in black suits calling them cubs of Caliph and then they brought another car and pulled
down five people dressed in red suits, and then asked these children to implement the
death sentence against these men by shooting them. Another day I saw Abu Bakr Al-
Baghdadi in Abu Bakr Mosque in Bab Al-tob and he was inciting the people to Jihad
and fighting for Allah and supporting the Islamic state.
We stayed in the Bazwaya area until the arrival of Iraqi military forces to Bartila where
everyone escaped except my mother and I. Then we went to the nearby Bartila castles
where ISIS detonated after digging underneath and established children training
camps. Later a group of ISIS members saw us and began to beat us strongly with their
magnum rifles saying “you will join the Iraqi army”. Then we were taken to Tahrir
street in the Mosul area and put in a house. We hesitated to get out of the house until
we were sure that the Iraqi armed forces arrived to liberate the area, so my mother and
I carried a white flag and handed ourselves to Iraqi forces, and I told them that we are
Christian from Bartila. They gave us water and put us in a car that took us to the
Khazar camp of refugees.

My mother was subjected to the most severe physical and psychological suffering

needles all over her body.

suffering beatings with sticks on the head and body several times and in several
places in front of people.
We were forced to change our religion.
Suffering from severe psychological damage.
Depriving us of our freedom, separating us from our relatives and exposing us to
very difficult living conditions in order to destroy us.
Feeling dead and enslaved all the time, so our mental state is still bad and fear
controls us to this day; we don’t know how we will go back to live with those
people again.

ISIS 9/6/2014 Qaraqosh female 1936 Z.B.M.D 3
The Details
I am Z.B.M.D, a survivor from Qaraqosh
ISIS entered our town after all the people of Qaraqosh had escaped. However, I
had to stay at home with my husband (called “A”) because he was sick and unable
to leave. Though our parents and relatives urged us to leave the town, I was
determined to stay next to my husband and I thought that their departure is temporary
and everyone would return to the town soon. Our family and friends tried to raise
my husband and put him in the car but they could not because he was in bad health,
so we stayed in the house to the next day after ISIS entered the town. When they
knew about us, they came in groups and searched the house and went down to the
basement. We remained this way for five to ten days. They would come and leave,
and they used to abuse and insult us. I had saved ten million dinars and gold jewelry
that I could not put in a safe place so I put them in a pot of water and covered with
fat. Then I took them out and put them under the bed but they searched and took
them. I asked them to leave some of the money for us to live on but they refused and
took everything. They would tell me every day “has your husband died or not?”
Later someone came to me from Qaraqosh and told me “if they come and ask to take
your husband to the hospital do not refuse”. Then a few people came and took him
to a house where there was medical care so I went with them. The next morning, my
husband died and I saw a large number of the villagers preparing to leave for Erbil.
Then three people from the town came and took my husband and put him in the car
and buried him in the cemetery.
37
And one day they gathered us and told us that they would register our names and
then deport us to Erbil. Then they asked us to go back to our homes until they deport
us. I cried bitterly because they didn’t deport. I was with someone who asked them
about his sons. They asked him “where were they working?” He said “with the
army”. They told him that they had slaughtered them all. Then we returned, and
someone helped me to get back to my house. That man kept crying every day and
morning for his children and his wife was relieving him so as not to collapse.
Every day Arabs and non-Arab people would come to us. The non-Arabs would use
signs to communicate with us but the Arabs would talk to us and some of them
would bring us a little food. When they do not bring us food, we would break the
dry bread and wet it so that we could eat it. One day a person came to us and spoke
with us in a very nice way. He asked us for gold and money and when we said to
him we don’t have anything and all our money and gold were taken, he insulted and
tortured us and searched the whole house then asked us to take off our clothes lest
we had hidden some gold and money in our clothes and threatened us with coercive
measures then I handed him 300000 (three hundred thousand Iraqi) dinars that were
in my possession, but he put a machine gun on my chest and threatened to kill me
and then he threw me on the bed strongly and put the machine gun again on my chest
and started to take off my clothes and took out the amount of 2 million dinars and
50 grams of gold and said that if I did not give him all the amounts in my possession,
he will take me to Mosul and marry me, so I cried bitterly and started to slap myself
on the face and head. Then he asked the woman who was living with me to hand
over the money she had but she said “we do not have anything; you took everything
from us”. We remained this way for three days: threats, torture and severe beatings.
On the fourth day another person came and asked the other woman for seven
hundred and fifty thousand dinars, and he said “if you do not pay, we will slaughter
you”.
38
At night he told us to prepare to leave for Mosul. And I remember that all those who
came to us asked us to enter Islam and threatened us with slaughter, especially the
non-Iraqi Arabs such as Tunisians and Saudis, and would call us infidel polytheists.
We remained like that for a long time until the day came when we saw darkness
during the day as the residential houses were being burnt by people we had not seen
before. Then we heard the sounds of guns and heavy gunfire and we saw people
other than those whom we knew and realized that they were Iraqi forces and some
of them were speaking Syriac. They saved us from daily death at the hands of ISIS
who used to threaten our lives, but our faith in God, Jesus Christ and the saints gave
us courage. Every day we would go up to the roof and look at the churches and pray
with a burning heart asking for mercy from the Lord to save us from these demons
who came to us with their very frightening looks. We got rid of them after a torment
of more than two years. Finally, we ask mercy for the martyrs .

The Details
His wife Mrs. (N.Sh.H) talked about what had happened to them and said: ISIS
terrorist Organization entered our areas on 8/Aug/2114, but we did not recognize
that until 7/Aug/2114. We tried to flee but some of the Organization's followers
did not allow us and took us back to the apartment. After that, we tried to flee
again through Karimlais road with a group of families but they arrested us putting
us in Saint Barbarah Church. They informed us that they were going to slaughter
us and they prepared for that. After a while they said that the Governor issued a
forgiveness and they took us back to Qaraqoush. They psychologically tortured us
asking us to announce our conversion to Islam. They physically tortured us, too.
Later, they took us to a house near to Alhamdaniyah Hospital by a person after
rejecting the conversion to Islam. Later, they took us to Mosul asking us again to
convert to Islam. One of them tried to abduct my (12) year-old daughter saying
that Islam allows them to marry a seven year-old child. That was a fatal moment
to me and my husband (R.M.K), who hugged her strongly. After a few days our
capturing, me, my husband (R.M.K), my son, and my daughter, they took us back
to Qaraqoush. There, we found broken crosses and some houses were robbed.
Then, we decided to go out o our area by person whom we met. That person took
us to Alkhazir. We were saved by a miracle from the barbarian Organization.

After the controlling on Mosul city by ISIS terrorist Organization, we headed to Tillkef.
After one week there, I was phoned and informed that I had to initiate my work because
of being an employee so I went back to Mosul with my family staying there for about (25)
days. On 22/June/2114, the manager of the hospital, which I was working at, told me
that the Christians are unwanted in Mosul so she made me have an obligatory vacation
for one month. Later, on 19/July/2114, we were informed by loudspeakers of the
mosques to either leave Mosul, murder, Islam, or tribute so we went to Tillkef at my

ambulances absence then. My husband was arrested. Then, the neighbors told us that
he had needed medication, bandages, and clothes because he was patient (colostomy)
and he needed his special medication so bad. I asked the neighbors to buy him whatever
he needed. I sent them (271,111) two hundred seventy thousand Iraqi Dinars, but one of
the neighbors told me that the rest of the neighbors had stolen my house and my
daughter's house!
After six months of being arrested, my husband was taken to the court of law. The judge
told me to announce his conversion to Islam, but my husband refused so my husband
was forced to pay tribute. He had his retirement credit card with him, (1,811,111) one
million eight hundred thousand Iraqi Dinars so he paid the tribute and he was released
with (11) old men from an infirmary. Later, they were dropped off at a checkpoint in

Statement
Thank God, The Bestower of honor with His victory, The Humiliator of polytheism with His
vanquishing, The Mover of days evenly with His justice, and may prayers and peace be upon the
one who elevated God as the lit of Islam with his sword, and hereafter:
Almighty God says: "And when a party among them said, "Wherefore do you preach to a people
whom Allah is going to destroy or punish with a severe punishment?" They said, "As an excuse
before your Lord, and that they may become righteous."
Al-Aaraf(163).
After informing the Christians and their followers of the date of the presence to discuss their status
in the Islamic State in Nineveh, they rejected and did not come at the pre-specified time; where
we were supposed offer them one of the following choices:
1- Islam.
2- Protection agreement (Taking tribute (Aljiziah))
3- If they refuse the above, the sword will be it then.
The Prince of the Believers, the caliph, Ibrahim, granted them to only save themselves from the
borders of the Islamic State on Saturday 21/Ramadan/1435 at 12:00 PM as a final date, and nothing
but sword will be between them and us after this date.
((And the might to God, His prophet, and the believers but the hypocrites do not know))
