Newspapers: who reads them?
Newspaper is one of the most
important and effective print
media of mass communication.
Although the world is becoming
digitalized, most of the people
still prefer to read the old
version of newspaper
Before, newspapers were the
only medium for news media
Now we can access through
different mediums for news,
such as the internet,
television etc.
The views of the new generation on print media
Even the new generation prefers the old
version of newspaper
It takes more time to surf through the
internet
No medium can beat the importance of
newspaper.

newspapers that their days seem incomplete without
taking hold of early morning newspapers. . . .
Through newspapers, you will have a clear idea and
understanding of what is happening in your country
and the whole world” (Charvez, 2012).

Findings
Not only the senior citizens prefer
to read the newspaper, but also the
new generation likes to read the
newspaper
Some prefer to read the newspaper
online and some, including the young
generation, prefer the old version
of newspapers
It is believed that young people
nowadays still prefer first hand
news, as the online news served
immediacy compared to print
newspapers.
Conclusion
Everyone likes to read the newspaper because
it keeps us updated about what is going around
us.
Newspapers, though old, are the most effective
medium for news.
Results have shown a significantly percentage
of people who still read on print newspapers.
Print newspapers industry at this
generation is still able to survive as it
is constantly improving.
There are plenty of readers who are still
ongoing reading the print newspapers and it
has already become part of their routine.
Newspapers increase the general knowledge or
the IQ of a person.
