Deejay's Application of STILTS

About Phoenix

ROSEBURG

Charter School

180 students

8-12 grade

My approach with this population

Getting to the point where students are open to being challenged can be difficult

Meet them where they are

Most students can only think of food: so I use that as a hook as much as possible

Other "hooks": music, art, sports

(Anything that could be considered distracting)
