Tier 4i Error Code List
Tier 4 Loadall error Codes are generated from the area of the machine where the fault lies. These error codes are divided into four separate lists.
‘B’ codes are for the cab area,
‘C’ codes relate to the chassis and it’s components,
‘P’ codes are for powertrain which includes the engine and transmission
‘U’ codes which are for the CANbus network
EXAMPLE. If a machine develops a transmission fault, an error code will be generated from one or more of the four areas.
B150E‐64 Column FNR Short – This is a ‘B’ (cab) code because the fault originates from the left hand column lever which is situated in the cab,
P0716‐64 Speed sensor fault – This is a ‘P’ (Powertrain) code because the fault originates from a component fitted to the actual transmission
U1502‐88 Transmission CAN fault – This is a ‘U’ (CAN network) code because there is a communication fault between the transmission controller and the CAN network.
C####‐## In this instance a ‘C’ (Chassis) code has not been generated because there are no components in the chassis which affect transmission operation
