Morning - You will be heading south to the legendary vines ofHermitage. Cultivated on the left banks of the Rhône in a veryspecial terroir, and in a hot climate, you’ll discover a wine withred fruit and wild flower aromas. You will start with abreathtaking view on the vines and the Rhône river at theHermitage hill Belvedere. Your guide will tell you the story ofthis legendary treasure. Morning - You will be heading to the West of Valence, inCornas wine area. In the right-bank of the Rhône, the vineyardsits on the Eastern slopes of the Massif Central in Cornas,which means “burnt earth” in old Celtic. The abrupt, south-facing slopes form a natural amphitheater that protects the vinesfrom cold winds. South-facing vines mature early, which is whythis appellation is the first red to be harvested in the NorthernCôtes du Rhône.You will stop in a local wine estate to taste Cornas wine.

Very close by, there is a second appellation called Saint-Péray. This time you will taste white wine in a second localwine estate. Saint-Péray AOC is the southernmost of thenorthern Côtes du Rhônes appellations. The limestone andgranite terroir, the exceptional climate and the superbtopography give Saint-Péray whites their unique character

Afternoon – Head north to the legendary cru Hermitage whichhas built its reputation on a single hill, and an epic history. 9:00 - Meet with your driver in your hotel lobby. Leave for aday of discoveries in the Northern part of Burgundy calledCôte de Nuits. On the way, stop in Nuits Saint Georges,Vosne Romanée or the Clos de Vougeot. These places are amust see in the wine world.

You will have a first wine tasting in Côtes de nuits area in afamily-run estate. Your host will show you the cellars and giveyou explanations about the wine making process.
