centre of China, with historic buildings and

landmarks, contrasted by a modern and

There is so much to take in. Walk the Great

venture into the Forbidden City, experience

the Temple of Heaven, marvel at the Summer

Palace and stroll across Tiananmen Square.

Shop ’til you drop at Silk Alley, take in the

Xi’an This ancient city is now famous as the home

of the spectacular Terracotta Warriors.

Students can also explore the City Walls, Wild

Many groups choose to combine a visit to

Xi’an with Beijing.

Shanghai China’s largest city is the flourishing focal

recent boom in China’s economy.

Tucked away between the modern

developments are the temples, markets and

city’s past. Many groups in particular choose

to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Oriental Pearl

TV Tower and Yuyuan Garden for an all-round

experience.
